Can i bay a car? For my kidz .
Why don’t you build a miniature motorcycle with this type of motor. With a giroscope ...
Kkk
I'm broke.
Hey Johnny. Can you Tell me pls the Name of the new Tube Bender or have you a Link for me?
It’s cool that even miniaturized the V4 sound is unmistakable.
Indeed, brought back memories of my vfr400, only thing missing was distinctive sound of cam chain, always loved the v4 engine
@@XZasCC i thought those bikes were either super rare or collectible

Thanks bruh
Thanks
This exhaust literally sounds like a Ducati
@Joseph Knapp - yup. it’s more about cosmetics, not ingenuity to some (like bratty girls)
Holy shit the finished exhaust system sounded so good compared to stock. I never thought such a small engine could produce a great deep rumble. Very cool Johnny, keep it up man!
It's because the "muffler" is just a big can haha
Resonator not muffler
@@LtdJorge its actually because the headers are unequal length, the same reason why older subarus have that deep rumble
@@DEATHWINGS5000 some porches use boxer engines but they sound different do they just use a a different exhaust set up?
@@danielohara1040 porches use equal length headers so they don't sound like grumbly Subarus but the new boxers actually do use unequal length headers so now they sound like Subarus
I'm not going to lie that is easily one of the coolest things I've ever seen
No replies? 🤔
You eat flys? 🤔
They weren’t kidding when they said miatas are small cars
Yeah true but hey, you know what they say about guys with big trucks 😂
Lol I could second that!
What about the Prius? If you can drive under an eighteen wheeler and go "That is really dirty," and drive back out... That is just too damn small.
This is Stuart Little's quarry dump truck

You're poor
@alphant1 you clearly didnt watch until the end
Right I was hoping he would put it in a rc. Then at the end he showed it. I'm very excited to see that.

Yes, but with a different type of supercharger. It's going to take some time because my knowledge on the subject is prety limited.

@@johnnyq90 I'd love to see it turbocharged tho
@@patricktsidina5902 lol it doesn't make any exhaust pressure, a turbo won't really work that well.
@@johnnyq90 Judging by the design of the first centrifugal supercharger the inducer was too large relative to the exducer, and their weren't enough blades, you would need 10 or 11 blades, not 6. That is my guess, just looking by eye.

Wow the quad carbs and custom exhaust made that little motor sound a lot better then stock. Keep up these awesome builds.
That exhaust is so well made, looks the part!
"Waiting for parts to come." Looks like building an RC car is no different than building an normal car haha.
Your DIY skills are so good. You can design your own mini-engine.
I just want to thank you for not ruining your videos with music.
That is a great motor. You don’t see many that will idle that slow and that reliable.
The throttle is spot on very responsive.
You are talented guy with that lathe.

i dont fully understand, wouldnt it be better for performance if they were all equally long?
@@vanos3378 It does several things. My favorite is the sound. My flows are dumped toward the ground. The rumble is so much better.
I've never second guessed your craftsmanship but when you painted the muffler, I screamed at my phone.
Yeah, I was thinking the same at first, until I saw the finished product.
I must say, it looks very clean & it goes well with the other black parts. Almost factory!
It sounds so good great job! Reminds me of my 93 Acura integra 😭
And with the exhaust the back pressure made it come down to idle alot slower and smother meaning longer life for your top end that's pretty awesome stuff for sure!

Should definitely turbocharge the engine with a mini turbo, awesome some of the stuff you’re doing 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Brake line bender. Would have never thought about using that.
Hehe I thought of that when I saw the thumbnail :D
Yes, it sounded more throaty with the new exhaust. Very nice touch👍🏼
It must be lovely to have the lathe/machining system. I am very jealous 😊

Build a classic car model from scratch with this one chief.
I see there is a spare pulley, maybe a supecharger would really liven it up, fantastic job never fail to amaze me with your skill's.
Subbed. Love these man. And I just got accepted onto a mechanic apprenticeship. Geeking at this lol. This little exhaust man. Seriously what you do is art. Epic.
Brother you're a born genius, amazing work!!👏👏👏
Love the crank case exhaust E-Vac addition. Nice.
Hey,
one little Trick: use alcohol to cool Aluminium while cutting. It makes great surface and no remnants and rust to your tools ;)
Actually kerosene is the best one to use, better for the cutting blades. Learned that from a production engineer!
It's so nice to have all the tools you need
WOW!!!THAT IS TRULY AMAZING
That'll fit perfect in my Honda Civic...
Imagine having like 20 of these in your car it would sound insane!
Aren't those solder joints going to melt when you run the engine? Or do nitro engines have cooler exhaust? Love the build!
That`s impressive! Very well done brother!!
It sounds awsome!! I love it great job dude
I'd love have a fraction of this man's talent
I'd personally love his 5 axis router... :)
You can create a simple 4 speed+rear gearbox fit in and put into a 1:3 scale compact car (around 3 to 4,5 ft long)
Gustavo De Souza or you can just buy a car. Probably less expensive.
I love it! It sounds amazing. Thank you for your wonderful content
Dude you’d do amazing in the gunsmithing industry
Wish I had the talent to build something like this that's incredible👍
Would love to see someone put an engine like this in a RC car or something
That's his plan actually lol

Garrett can you link the video
lurance FN yeah ill try and find it give me like 5 mins
Garrett aye thanks man
This is so awesome, I would like to see a gearbox and a differential mounted to this setup. That would be epic!
Not to sound like another commenter but dude watching people do such talented machining is so beautiful to me good luck in all that you do!
When and if the exhaust gets hot enough, wouldn’t the heat pop those soft solder welds?
He probably used silver solder so probably not
That looked like regular plumbing solder and flux. Silver solder has a yellow tint to it, is thinner and needs a high temp flux, usually white colored.
I wondered the same thing. There is a solder called Sta-Brite that contains 3% silver and is good up to 600 degrees. As easy to use as plumbing solder, but a bit higher melting temperature.
I doubt it'll get that hot considering how small the motor is
I think that's because the fuel is alcohol/nitro methane combo and burns much cooler. I built a copper muffler for my old nitro rc car and none of the lead solder joints ever melted and i ran it hard for decent amounts of time, sometimes too lean and got it pretty hot and the solder joints still held up.
Can you extend the exhaust system that it sticks out of the rear of the car
Dude awesome! wish somethign like this could be done to make a scale interior, people would go nuts for it in 1/10 or 1/8 scale
Excellent work as always! 👍
Ifthis thing were powerful enough to act as a boost for my bicycle I'd get into this hobby, probably..
Jero Berkley there are enough engines with enough power, but let’s be honest, it would take to much money. You could buy a used car for the money
Ian Kyle Maturan
Yes I know, but I think we were talking about the small RC car nitromethane engines.
Am I the only person that was like... "WTF" when he painted that muffler?
Rush Nofsky I want to hear what it sounds like de muffled
And, didn't he solder that exhaust?
And isn’t that technically a resonator?
Definitely sounds amazing
Watching this is Awsome. Great Work
After the engine is finished, could you benchmark it? (For example max rpm, torque, etc.)
Like a Dyno test for horsepower you mean right?
Carter Davis sort of. This engine was just built and you don't know much. So a benchmark through stress tests etc would show. Kind of like a company creating a new motor.

So awesome... Great job man!!!!
amazed the solder joints dont fail very quickly due to exhaust / head temps
Was thinking the same lol
Keith Atkinson would be advocating silver solllllder here.
@@Digital-Dan At least for the head flanges of the downpipes, exhaust gas temps at the muffler may be low enough for sustained operation with tin solder.
The fuel he uses burns alot cooler then pumpgas, I dont think he'll have an issue with it.
I tried this in my younger years on a nitro powered car, making a dual exhaust system out of sweated copper fittings. One rip at full throttle and 3/4 of my solder joints were melted. Brazing was the ticket
8:39 here i was thinking it was controlled bij a computer.
