I have just bought a 2019 F-Type 3.0 V6 380 bhp R-Dynamic pretty much Identical to yours, On the Journey home on the M1 with cruise control on at 56 mph I managed to get 42 mpg. I know thats not how the car was designed to be driven, this is just the first drive as I was getting used to all the controls.
Well I have owned both the 2.0ltr soft top and now the 3.0ltr V6 supercharged coupe. Both are such good looking cars and though I am not a speed merchant, I have put them through there paces as much as I can on B roads and occasional dual carriage way. The 2.0ltr returned 27 mpg and the 3.0ltr 24 mpg.
@@tootalltodrive The issue I have with 0-62 speed times is...who the hell does it?? when has anyone driven a car off their driveway, stopped it at the kerb in there street full of parked cars and then attempted to reach 62 before the end of it and without killing anyone?
@@tootalltodrive Btw, is it possible to put it in neutral other way than put the central gear stick on "N"? I mean when I am on manual and i'm at a red light (with a ferrari you pull both pads and the neutral is on... ) There is something like that with the F type? Because it is very boring to put it in automatic and then In "N" every times... thanks
@@tootalltodrive nice I ended up getting a 16 convertible it’s not to bad just had to raise the steering wheel all the way up and lower seats as far as they go. 6’7 seems like a struggle just getting in the car haha it’s so low
@@Djpaul-lo1px No, mines a V8 R. The Midlands to Exmouth last Saturday in the holiday traffic - 36 mpg. But on an empty motorway run, I can achieve 38mpg without a problem. The engine is turning over at around 1500 rpm. It’s the stop/start that brings it down.
BMW, “Shmee M W.” Seen one, seen them all. Boring look can’t overcome performance. F-Type has unique, awesome styling AND performance. Who cares about a stupid high beam assist. F-Type’s gonna pass BMWs anyway, therefore the dimmable rear view mirror is more important to get rid of the view of boring cars left behind.
The F Type over the M2, the Jag is a sports car whilst the M2 is a performance coupe, the Jag uses a supercharger which Purists would prefer to an outright steroid turbocharger. This car fits in as a replacement for my e86 M!

I have the V6 supercharged model and I agree about the fuel consumption, I don't care at all. Love the car!

I have the 400 sport model and get about 27 mpg, that's mostly A roads and a little town driving, I absolutely rag it everywhere as well.

Yeah that’s about right I would think, nobody buys the F-Type for 0-62 as there are much quicker cars for the money. It’s all about the character 👊

I have the v6 S "cab" here in Belgium. I drive like a maniac (only in sport mode and manual) and I'm doing 18L / 100km. It worth it! 🔥😂👌

My F-type doesn’t have an official mpg, The fuel in the tank does last long enough, plus I’m too busy enjoying the ride.

In the 2014 pre facelift my knees hit the dash by the light button near the door if that makes sense so I had to go for the facelift

The V8 R is more economical that that. Easy 22/24 on mixed fast driving. 35/38 on the motorway. Single figures when you’re ‘full on’ though !

I regularly get 28-30mpg normal driving in my V6S 👍..have seen mid 30s on a longer run
