Shark Tank 101 - always address the best offers first or counter them! They were lucky Bethany honored her offer as I'm sure she felt slighted in not getting a response after she went down so much on the equity which no one is gonna match.
She made a good offer because she saw an opportunity to make money. Good business people don't throw away money for petty reasons.
Except Rohan and Lori still have better offer. Rohan has all the food channels, and Lori can sell anything.
They should’ve countered at 5% with so much pressure
The deal never closed, I'm willing to bet Bethany wanted more and just offered a lower deal for the show and once it got to actually making the deal was greedy...
If you're dealing with Bethany, I'm sure they're lucky the deal didn't go through. She's shrill and rude, and I seriously think she can't deliver.

@@arynrowland862 That argument only applies to men in the field. You can see how Barbra and Lori act differently and are able to argue their points without name calling, interrupting, or raising their voices because as women in a male dominated field they've had to learn how to manuever minefields
@@David-oo8yo I have to respectfully disagree. Lori is always very polite, but Barbara can certainly go back and forth, especially with Kevin. I think the gender argument is a bad one to make, as you will always have abrasive men and women in any given field. I think it’s down to the individual, but at the end of the day it’s about the money, not the person.

Are they cutting these down more than what is on TV? This is the second time I have seen a pitch under 6 min when the used to be 8-10. I think we are missing the part where they talk about numbers and more business details, miss the old full length pitches.

G and G is doing well on its own, their appeal is based on the quality of their ingredients for their price point. If they get with a shark, prices will go up which ultimately would lead to bad business of their part.
Bethany was the right choice. Her spokesperson offer was enough to seal the deal.
She dropped out of the deal and they are thriving. Her brand has become toxic to under 35s and she is now appealing to boomers on HSN

I looked up Yumble. As of December 1, 2022 they paused all operations indefinitely.
They had a good run of it! Bethenny didn't honor her promise and never worked with them... sad. She's now selling cherry juice on HSN.

This is crazy that American parents can't get their act together and cook healthy, simple, nutritious meals for their kids and think of resorting to this. It's not rocket science: some vegetables, a source of protein, fruits, rice-quinoa-bread whatever, a snack with more veggies and hummus, it's easy. Come on, there are tons of resources on the web for good, easy recipes! I meal prep every week and in three hours, I'm done for the week and everything is good. The environmental waste in this is shocking.

This is a business show, not a show on sociology. Its about a niche in the market. By your comments, its clear that no restaurants should exist, because everyone can cook the same meals at home. If you look at Africa, most people pay in cash, because they don't have bank accounts. There's a very high percentage in Africa and Latin America where people don't have bank accounts or credit cards, should neither of these exist?

Not sure where you get your info, she has been with the same partner for 4 years. Anyway, where is your moral compass when it comes to Robert or any other man on the show? Robert had mistresses all the way through his first marriage? Or is it only women who have to meet some kind of metric? Forcing children to eat healthy will cause them to eat unhealthy as adults because taste buds change as people grow older. They will crave unhealthy foods as adults
