for everyone who keeps asking, I'm using FL Studio 12 www.image-line.com/
Most of the samples I'm using either came with fl studio or are my edited versions of the samples that came with FL. My workflow with these is remake the track, then simplify that remake into my own samples & easily reconstructable sounds, then remake the track again on camera. So there's a lot of trial and error that doesn't happen on screen so don't be too disheartened if you try to pick this up & are struggling with it. It's tedious & frustrating for sure lol
A few of the percussive samples are from EKALI's sample packs: sellfy.com/ekalimusic
The synth I used here is Native Instruments Massive, and the brass instrumentation comes from one of their Kontakt 5 libraries.
I'll make a video with advice for beginners at some point

This is alot of work to just RECREATE a beat. Imagine making a beat from pure scratch, and then writing lyrics over it that flow. Jesus this is talent
Nay Johnson Writing lyrics would be the easiest part. It’s also not that difficult to create a flow to any kind of song because there are an infinite amount of choices to choose from when making one.
Take J-Hope for example. If you listen to his live performances of Cypher Part 4, he switches up his flow quite easily and they all are drastically different, yet all create the same vibe in a sense.
Most of the time, writing the song comes first. People create a melody to that lyric and then you have somewhere to go afterwards because you have the basic sound down so everything else can be done easily.
Although writing lyrics can be hard- it’s usually the easiest part of the song making process. Sometimes it’s harder if you want to implement a stronger vocabulary or if you want to create meaningful lyrics including a handful of language mechanics. Like a play on words or similes or paradoxes, things like that.
And this recreation is still quite far off, with a lot of the different sounds being more simplified versions of the originals. It's still very good tho.
being producer is one of the hardest job.
@@xuka5173 I agree with you, but as in another sense, it's quite hard to write songs also as you need to think of how you want someone to reflect the specific something on it, what do you want to express to your target audience, and what rhythm suits the song best.
Furthermore, it will be harder if the songwriter and the producers are different person as you can't really go on the next step if you really can't get the meaning of the lyrics written.

It's really not that hard. Might look fancy to someone who has never used a DAW but this is quite simple.
People who say digital music does not involve any talent should watch this person's videos. It looks quite hard and seems like it requires a good sense of sounds and lots of creativity. This is just copying already made songs, making new ones will def be harder.
sun digital music is just making music. Making music itself is hard. But finding the right sounds and putting out the sounds that you have in mind is easier said than done
It's also hard to remake a sound you hear if it's not a known classic instrument. Further, finding the heard notes requires practice.
Those people are too ignorant to see the actual challenges that digital music has. It’s completely different than playing actual instruments (I say actual instruments as in hands on stuff.)

There’s literally thousands of tutorials on TH-cam, just have to practice. Or you might wanna try out different daw. I personally use Ableton.
It's very easy! It might be scary at the beginning but it gets easier once you start just give it a try!
