That is a beautiful door and your careful work does it justice. This is what I do for a living and I learned a few things from this vid. I wonder if those lock escutcheons are original to the door, given the better quality of the mortise lock. The patch that you installed we call a Dutchman. You lined up the slots on the flathead screws.
Does this door have a 2 1/8 inch bore hole?
I wonder if ReSecure Latch would work in this door?
I'm not sure about the dimensions. Unfortunately the door has been sold and shipped to Seattle so I don't have access to it any longer.
