Best part about this channel is that you restore actually old product that were damaged by time, instead of "restoring" items that were purposefully damaged or burried somewhere just to make views like other restoration youtubers do.
@@harryshuman9637 I literally restore things as a hobby and I can tell you that almost all of the people who are restoring something that is actually old don’t have enough money nor lack of respect to fake rust, also it’s really easy to tell if it is real or not, just look at pitting.
wow! At the start I was like "man, this was sold at a famous store?" but once you were through it looks like it belongs in a famous high end store! Bravo!
I have a new model of one of those carpet cleaners! The technology has not changed at all other than the box is made of pressed aluminum! And I love it - does a great job!
The brush is in surprisingly good condition. Given its age, I assume the bristles are organic rather than synthetic. Either this sweeper wasn’t heavily used or those bristles are made of tough stuff. Delighted to see how well the restored sweeper works! Another superb restoration - thank you!
Thanks for posting! Your choice to abstain from sanding the wood gave the piece a lot of character! Love the vibe of this video feels like classic OTND w/added bonus of seeing the different tools/hardware in action as well as a continued mastery of various techniques. Keep it up!🎉
great restoration, especially on the wood part of the sweeper. keeping the patina on the wood instead of sanding was a good touch. it's nice to see you upload more often lately.
Well done again! Its interesting how each project has their own demands - no heavy metallurgic job this time, basically just renewing the old wood. Whatever you restore, i,ll be here to Like it! Merci!
I love it! My great grandmother had one of these. We would help with the housework and use this to clean her carpets. It was great fun for a 6 year old!
My toddler loves falling asleep to these videos, always asking to watch fixing before we go to bed. Thanks for becoming an essential and relaxing part of our bedtime routine! 😊
Another absolutely wonderful restoration! This is one of my very favorite channels. The use of TPU wheels is clever given no alternatives. I truly admire your label recreations. And I always appreciate the practical demo at the end of each restoration. Magnifique, monsieur. :-)
My sister-in-law gave me a Christmas present from Bon Marché when there was a department store here in America about twenty five years ago. It was in a big box and wrapped up beautifully. The department store doesn’t exist anymore, but it was a very nice to get a present from Bon Marché 😄❤️
i've been watching this channel for a while now, but this is my first time commenting, because seeing the effort to add the label back in reminded me what exactly keeps amazing me with every upload from this channel! bravo!
Brilliant job Mr. OTND 👍👍👍!!! Great work. Very sympathetic yet thorough to keep the aged appearance whilst restoring the working capacity 👏👏👏. Loved watching it. Thanks man 🙏. 😎
Nice video. If you take a few hours to learn a vector drawing software, your cutouts and decals will be even cleaner. It's faster than using a brush too, after you get the hang of it.
Bon marche as far as she can tell. She drinks the zombie from the coco shell. She feels all right, she get it on tonight. Mr driver, take me where the music play
Brilliant job! My grandmother had a similar carpet sweeper only probably made in Australia or Britain. I can just remember her using it on her carpet, I was probably about six years old then. I absolutely love your restorations. Please can you find an old book press to restore, I love them! Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and please continue to do what you do so well! 🇦🇺🤗
I used to have one of these back in the day…. We used it to pick up dirt from one side of the room… and then drop it again on the other side of the room… 🤨👍
Old carpet sweeper on a new carpet? No man, you need an old carpet to restore, and then combine it together for a full satisfaction 😂.
Should do a collaboration piece with Mountain Rug Cleaning. :D
😂😂
...and then test it with old newspaper snippets
😂👏
😂😂😂
i love the idea of the new technology of 3d printing being used to help restore something beautiful and old! the past and the future team up for good!

Fake restorations are rarer than you might think.
@@Ezra-qi3dt They are not. You are just bad at telling them apart.

@@Ezra-qi3dt Restoring old 100 year old things is fine, but most channels make restorations of 10-20 year old items that they make look like aged.
@@harryshuman9637 yeah, there are plenty of channels that do that, I’m just saying that they make up less than half of all restoration channels.
Sand blasting and powder coating, probably two of my most favourite things to watch! Amazing job all round.
When he does the filler -> sanding -> primer -> wet sanding -> powder coat routine the result is pure eyegasm.
wow! At the start I was like "man, this was sold at a famous store?" but once you were through it looks like it belongs in a famous high end store! Bravo!
That's probably more effective than most carpet sweepers these days. That thing is over 100 years old and is still working like it was yesterday.
To be fair, it was just restored, it would be a problem if it WEREN'T working like it was yesterday
I don’t care if it’s 1am where I live, OTND uploaded a new video and I need to watch!
I have a new model of one of those carpet cleaners! The technology has not changed at all other than the box is made of pressed aluminum! And I love it - does a great job!
Best thing about them is they make very little noise and don't need a cord or other setup steps. Just grab it and roll around.
The brush is in surprisingly good condition. Given its age, I assume the bristles are organic rather than synthetic. Either this sweeper wasn’t heavily used or those bristles are made of tough stuff. Delighted to see how well the restored sweeper works! Another superb restoration - thank you!
Sound is always key in these types of videos, and yours is excellent - clear, no distractions, just ASMR all the way.
Fantastic work! I love when you make things not just look nice, but work well afterward!
Thank you ! 😉
Very nicely done. Glad to see a carpet sweeper come back to life with the name restored.

Je suis vraiment impressionné par votre patience et la précision avec laquelle vous restaurez chaque objet... Quelle minutie !
I used to watch videos like these at my old school for fun, it’s nice to revisit them now.
I remember hotels used to use these instead of vacuum cleaners because they made less noise.
This is a beautiful restoration, down to the tiny nails for the top! I love these projects. Thanks for showcasing your artistry.
The ancestor of the vacuum cleaner and visibly rather effective after this nice restoration 🤩👍
Sandblast and cold blue everything!
4:05 My favourite part!
Fan of sandblasting here 👆 😄

the paintwork goes beyond my mind. insanely good work
When you pealed the letter stencil off....👨🍳👌 Chef's Kiss. Awesome job.
Thank you ! 😉
What a gorgeous restoration! And the simple but oh so effective engineering behind this tool is awesome to see back in action

Very nice restoration! To top it off, the sweeper works better than a lot of modern ones. That is a nice show piece.
You are truly talented. You are an artist, a professional craftsman, an engineer and more. It's a complete delight to watch your content.😊
Wonderful job you did restoring that carpet sweeper. It looks much better than before and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
Yes I was surprised it works so well, thank you ! 👍
Travail toujours superbe !!!! Merci l’artiste !!!!!
Спасибо автору за видеоролик. Процесс реставрации это волшебство!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great project. The lettering sets it off.
Another great restoration and top notch video as always. I did not expect it to work as good as it did at the end.
Great restoration, I’m actually really surprised how good it is at sweeping up that mess too!
I was suprised too " oh it's works really ! " 😅
Nice restoration! This antique is more beautiful and effective than the current ones.

I’m surprised by how well it cleaned the carpet, excellent restoration.
I almost had a panic attack when you returned all the paper to the carpet :D

Gorgeous finished piece, and impressive that it still works so well!
Very cool. I enjoy watching your process the most as you are so very thorough. You make most others look lazy, lol. I like your sense of humor too.
Good content
Tasteful level of restoration
Excellent videography
Bravo!
أحسنت..
أجد متعة كبيرة في مشاهدة فيديوات تصليح الأشياء القديمة وإعادتها إلى العمل...
Those were a very popular design of sweeper. there are modern versions of them made now. Nothing beats a good old wooden cabinet, though.
Brilliantly done! I love this one 👌
Good job mister beautiful restoration beautifully restored well done
It looks excellent and you did a masterful job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
Love the blast cabinet AND powder coating! 8:11
Very nice work.. i love the outcome of the wood... And the way you made the tires... Again, very nice work...
Thank you very much Gary ! 😉
Bon marche as far as she can tell. She drinks the zombie from the coco shell. She feels all right, she get it on tonight. Mr driver, take me where the music play

Bravo maestro! Thoroughly enjoyed that 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
The fact it worked so well was surprising
I love this channel. Great stuff man.
In all of these resto vids, the lathe and the sandblaster are my two favorite tools. ^_^
Agreed
Looks as good as new. Nicely done. 👍
Потрясающе, здорово🎉❤
Great restorations, more videos please.
The wood on that looked really good for a 100-year-old item.
I wouldn't be able to touch any of this stuff without fear, man!! That's so risky!
Outstanding restoration!
Nice restoration and it works great.
I used to have one of these back in the day…. We used it to pick up dirt from one side of the room… and then drop it again on the other side of the room… 🤨👍
Superb restoration ! 😊🇨🇦
Great job on the lettering it looked very authentic. 👌👍
Beautiful job, that looks amazing!
My grandma has something like that but newer (1940-1980) and we still use it to this day
Always a great time over here, good job
Very nice restoration 😸👍🏾
Why did you have to blur something at the beginning? My curiosity is killing me lol
I’d feel the exact same way
I LOVE WATCHING YOU. AN AWESOME JOB 👍👏🎉😄😲
Very nice work !! I think it work better than the ones they sell today !!👍👍
