@@HawaiianZeushey man can you help me understand something so i can make a decision from myself? First off, what made you go with 285/70 vs 285/75? Second, regarding your offset, i always thought the more negative your offset it the further it will stick out from the fender. How come your -38 doesn’t stick out a lot, but i have seen people with -25 and it sticks out much further, so is there other things that cause the wheel to push out further other than offset?
@@AFGixxeR88 Sure! I chose the 285/70/17 bc it was the first option available for me (bought second hand). As for the offset, some people can add spacers to achieve an even greater “poke” out from the wheel well. So if someone already has a -28mm offset rim and adds a 1.5” spacer it will stick out even more. Hope this helps!
This build is well coordinated. The color the mods everything is just in sync specially the awning. You mentioned that you sleep over the deck system. Is it comfortable or can this build still accommodate a roof tent. Thank you for sharing and i am a new subscriber.
@@marlonmendoza2882 Thanks! I spent a lot of time planning for everything I wanted. I slept on the decked system maybe 5 times before upgrading to an RTT. Specifically because of how little headspace I had when sleeping on the decked. It was bearable but not nearly as comfortable as sleeping in the rtt. Definitely is a pain to crawl in and out of the canopy when sleeping in there, not to mention having to pull out all your gear to setup your bed.
Nice build, with the suspension in guess it’s 2.5 inch lift in the front are you rubbing with that set up and did you have to do anything if it was rubbing thanks
@@tilon0991 Yes. I have a -38mm offset so a body mount chop and some platic trimming in the front area was needed. Do you think a more in depth video on this would help you?
Thank you! I know lol. I’m 5’ 11” so I throw a cooler by my feet to extent the extra foot I need to sleep comfortably. This setup does the trick for now but Im hoping to get a tent soon.
Corgi !!!! Haha I have one to 😂
what's the lift on your tacoma. Also were did you get the tent? its bad ass
@@chriscaballero8966 Thanks! Check out my Suspension Setup video for the full explanation. The Awning is the OVS 270 awning 🤙🏽
Nice build! I’m prejudice and I think the third gen looks WAY better than the disposable/throwaway “Flyin Freckle”🥱 fourth gen 2024 Tacoma.😳
Thank you!

I have the same suspension and wheel and tire set up. But I don’t anything near 8” between my wheel and fender. What’s your secret 😂
Fire build but I feel like I’m the only one who thinks bronze wheels don’t go with the cement color way
@@hedenponce-pf2pd Thanks man! And good thing mines a lunar rock 🤙🏽 lol.
@@HawaiianZeus damn you can’t even tell it must be the lighting
@@hedenponce-pf2pd I believe so. Ive noticed the Lunar rock color specifically changes hues a lot based on the outside setting!
Is that an EVO-A or an EVO-S?
@@mikespies786 Upon more googling, I belive its an Evo Sport, but I could be wrong. I bought it second hand from marketplace. Thanks for the interest!
What are you going to do if you have a flat tire? Overland vehicle without a spare tire?
