Darn...missed this live. If you have the chance to answer this...I think this subject can affect many CKD people re: (pain) who may want to know. Having some dental work done, like an implant or to simplify, a terrible toothache. Can a CKD stage 2/3 take ANY Ibuprofen just a day or two? or is it always better to do an Oxycodone type, or I think dental uses Norco. "I don't want to harm my kidneys even 1 point"...but much prefer a non opioid painkiller (Tylenol doesn't do much for dental) if taking some Ibuprofen a day or two at most, can be totally harmless...?? Thx

According to several doctors I have met, EATING TEMPEH can increase creatinin level rapidly. Do you agree with that, Michelle? What's your opinion on that, Docs?

I am curious to know their reasoning and research behind this statement. Soy protein is actually associated with a decrease in serum creatinine. Maybe if it was over consumed and therefore contributing to an overall too high protein diet?

Quick question: how bad is diet soda really for kidneys? Or in general? Find it hard to believe it's as bad as the rumors say
