Another question, from whom do you buy your rough stock. The Auzzie agates you cut. Fannnntastic! I’m newly back to lap work. Rounding up tools and rough stock. Love your information and videos!
I just watched a video of you cutting Bulgarian agates and struggling to grind them down. You might want to try a belt sander with regular 200-400 grit sanding belts. I live in Louisiana and get Crowley ridge agates out of the smaller river systems here and occasionally others from further north. I have a few I am almost certain are from around your area. I have family in Market and have found agates in lake superior before and the difference between them and what we have here in Louisiana are night and day. But yea, belt sander will grind them down quick.
Labradorite -most powerful crystal to sheild misfortune -magical and spiritual, for intuition and connecting to higher realms -used for synchronicities.. being at the right place at the right time It needs first to be cleansed, charged and programmed properly
Video is amazing as always you give us, especially we beginners information that’s so helpful and it also shows me every rock has its own challenges. Thanks so much for taking us along!
I made jewelry years ago and I am beginning the process of giving it another try. I took Continuing Education classes at a local college and I loved learning about it. The instructor had the same machinery in his shop and while I backed away from learning much about it, I think I could give it a try now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and showing your expertise in the cabochon forming process. They are very nice and I definitely appreciate your tips. You have a very good eye and the knowledge to make it work. Beautiful stones!
The nostalgia smell is so accurate!! It reminds me of kindergarten every time i turn the dop station on! We had some kind of crayon melting thing in our classroom and it smelled just like the dop station
Twenty Years ago I had a lot of money. I was going to install labradorite countertops in my kitchen. I can only imagine what it would have looked like but I didn’t have the $20 Grand it would have cost to put it in. Can you imagine! It’s so beautiful! Love your vids, T!
I just got my first "Slab" (Chunk) of labradorite today and I'm so excited to get to work on it! I couldn't wait till I got home and so I found your video!
😂😂 Every time! 😆 🙄 I don't know why, but every time you showing off the finished stones, I find myself tilting my phone to see the shiny rock. 😍😍🤩🤩🤪 Am I the only one?
Nicely done. It's fun to see the same stuff used that I have here in my shop. Those templates are great and the shapes on them aren't on many other templates.
Thanks Taylor. I was wondering how the pieces were stuck with wax to the wood handle so well that it wouldn’t come off. I really enjoy your videos. Very professional and personal.🥰
Hey,I totally get the smell of the wax being a good nostalgic feeling! When I’m in a barn and can smell hay and leather and manure it reminds me of wonderful times from my childhood! Other people will be like, oh, gross! And I’ll be there inhaling deeply! 😂
good for you wearing a respirator. So many people cut/polish cabochons unprotected. Rock dust NEVER leaves the lungs and causes all sorts of diseases, cancers...etc
Don't worry, I will share this video to my friends. Also you can wash rocks in vinegar as long as you do it in separate containers. I hope this helps and hopefully I can do another 10$ donation 😁
Labrador-essence! Interesting. I just happen to be wearing my pendant of Labradorite! Mine is really blue, large & stripped like tigers eye. People stop me to look at it.
Thank you for the banger video Agate dad‼️ I was thinking about getting my first saw for lapidary use, do you think the 6in high tech diamond saw will be okay for small size nodules? The agates I usually find are around 2-3 inches! Thanks‼️
Not gonna lie, when I saw the thumbnail my first thought was why is there a picture of fake fingernails? 😂 Labradorite is a difficult stone to work with these turned out beautifully!
Hi Tyler maybe you can fill those chips with super glue its clear and who knows if you do it right maybe no one will notice. Or the other thing you might try is cut a piece of the rock off of the larger one and you might still be able to salvage the larger. This is only an idea only.
Do you know why labradorite cabs are generally cut so thickly? Is it to help preserve the depth of the iridescence? Some cabs I've seen are almost too chunky to set. Just curious, and thank you for the video! Labradorite is my favorite stone.
Sir will you tell me about a stone that I found from sea shore it's outside like fossil and inside shiny partical shine in light it's weight above 5kg plz describe .
I hope you enjoyed this video ❤ support it by liking, commenting, and sharing with all your rock locking friends!
Quick question, what do you do with the "scrap" from your projects?

Szép labradorit.

These are gorgeous. I know high quality Labradorite is very, very expensive and I've seen some that aren't even as nice as these.
Just watched a Theo video trying to polish Labradorite and it seems like you need a good deal of luck to get those reflections to hit just right.
Absolutely!
Stud or dud they are have their own beauty ❤
😮😮😮6:00 Parece uma asa de borboleta lá dentro! Até o formato é de asa!
WOW! Hot rocks.👍⭐️

What's the best rock tumbler. Wet saw and polishing tool??
Not gonna lie, when I saw the thumbnail my first thought was why is there a picture of fake fingernails? 😂 Labradorite is a difficult stone to work with these turned out beautifully!
I keep seeing that lol should have just made some fake nails 💅
❤😂😂😂😅😅😅😊😊😊😊

I don’t add things to my pieces, makes them fake in my opinion
I wonder if the cab would look better in sun light.
Maybe
Can u make a video about you adventuring the wild and finding crystals i want to know how they look in the wild?

I don’t know that answer
There's no link for the dopping stuff. Do you have a preference?
It’s in my description under hi tech or cabking
Tell look good lol they look like fingernails 😂😂😂😂
Sir will you tell me about a stone that I found from sea shore it's outside like fossil and inside shiny partical shine in light it's weight above 5kg plz describe .

What is the price of it
Plz tell me
They look like glue on fingernails 😲🤭...if they were thinner, that would be cool 👏
My wife said that!!!
😍😍😍😍🤩❤❤❤❤
as a 12 year old rockhound i can find shit anywhere i go. do you know how i could find agates and stuff
12 year olds shouldn’t talk like that

They are way too thick…
As mentioned, it’s been a while.
