Those turned out just srunning Jason! So beautiful! With every piece you do, your skill level increases exponentially and it shows! Your confidence grows and you get nore comfort level grows as well. Just amazing cabs! So beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
That was a lucky break. A more than beautiful high dome cab. I love looking at all the colors and patterns in it. A silver pendant would set it off. Thanks for sharing. Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒
Ohh, I was hoping you’d show the smaller one too. I like the thickness of the rocks too. It shows so much detail more in the rock and not necessarily the design itself. If that makes sense, lol.
Would like to thank you for all the excellent places to go rockhounding. Scott's did not disappoint. Amazing. Leaving Nova Scotia, Cape Breton now. Heading back home to Belleville Ontario Canada with about 3 15 gallon buckets of Agates. I just couldn't stop. It was amazing and they arevall so beautiful. Now I got to figure out where to get some cut around me. Going to buy a tumbler and see what happens. Any advice?
Newby hounded here...Can you explain why, if you really like the look of area you stencil, you then make that the back of your cab and grind/ polish the opposite side of what you chose?
That's a really good question. I do that because if i grind away the side i stenciled then there is a better chance i lose the pattern i want. But if i come through the other side then i keep grinding until i find the pattern i like.
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: very lovely!
That turned darn purty! Love the thick dome, shows more of the stone

Thanks so much Lisa!
That reminds me of Bumble Bee Jasper! One of my favorites!

I agree!!
* I was shocked when it broke. So glad it fractured well for you!! Such Stunning Colors.. You could spend hours just looking at all the colors..
I like that bezel because you can see the stone more
I like the high dome you get to see more of the beautiful rock! You should be using sterling silver on most of your work they are worth it!
Lol. I’ve learned to use the string trick after test fitting a stone and not being able to get it out. Very Vice cab!
Yes, your work is worth sterling !! 😍🥰
🤗
The rock was excited to become something extraordinary, lol
I like it cab making is fun to watch.
So amazingly beautiful ❤️
I really like the more three dimensional look of the high domed cab. You get to see what's going on deep inside the stone. Very nice!
Cool!
Almost like you took an agate egg and cut it in half. That Blomidon Beauty is phenomenal Jason!!! Can I call dibs? 😍 haha
Beautiful
😮❤❤❤🤩. ...PRECIOUSSS....👍💫😊
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty cab. Nice work bud.

How long did it take to make this cab Jason?
what you do about the pitting?
Ill try to grind down a bit further or just leave it. This particular stone has a lot of natural pitting so I just left it.
🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍👍👍
I don't like the high- domed look nor the pattern of this one. I'm sure someone else will like that clunky chunky loo.
