Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Season's Greetings from Michigan, U.S.A. Those Idaho agates are sooo fun! I get tickled at the noises you make at the first glance of a cut!
Hey there! Gosh it is so fun to watch your videos! Your enthusiasm and joy in finding the treasure in each rock is totally amazing! I truly love watching you! I can't afford a cab king, but I tumble ans find the same joy you do with each rock. Thank you for bringing the rockhounding life into the light!🎉❤😊
Agate Dad! I have rocks from the Snake River Valley Idaho! I've suspected they are agates as some of them have wear marks on them that are 'shiney'. There's a fist size piece of churt, and also a large smooth rock that has lines all around it from top to bottom, that I want to see what the inside looks like. I found the possible agates just laying on top of the dirt in a field and the churt and the other one I found when digging in a yard to plant a bush and a tree - one in the front yard and one in the back. HOW DO I contact you to get your costs for cutting these. I would pay for shipping both ways and give you half of each rock - if you wanted it; and you could pick the half! Oh WOW1 That black/white cut is Stunning! As well as the one that when you held the two cuts side by side looked like angel wings.
Idaho is famous for growing potatoes.Years back my dad worked for a company that made potato chips and other snacks, and he made regular trips to Idaho to buy their potatoes
The first blue water level bands one looked like angel wings! It was my favorite until you cut the last one...the black and white one. Every single one you cut was gorgeous!
the first one with the water lines, when you put it side by side, it looked like the Van Halen logo. you know i enjoy your channel. i like the way you have different labeled bins. what if you set up a spinning wheel with the different locations and sometimes do a random spin show? i think it would be great but its' my idea so of course i see it's greatness. either way, you rock
Second to last one was my favourite! Totally got the Star Wars reference and thought the exact same thing. Bespin Cloud Car. When you revealed it , blew my mind looked like the background for Cloud City. Thats is a beaut there!!
Cut, cut, cut. I thought you were going to make French fries, but you made beautiful jewlery instead. I espically like the dark light one. Keep having fun!
I grew up in North Idaho & collected rocks all the time. Who knew what lay beneath the surface? May have to take it up again. We have some pretty garnets up there too.
If you want to check whether one of those quartz/calcite/ possible amethyst nodules are amethyst, cut a slice and play around with a light on different angles. Sometimes the colour really popts out if the light hits it right
Yay I have decided to get the I Lick Rocks stickers but I need to wait to ask for my parents permission and I need to wait 30 more minutes until the Premier 😅 also "It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!"
You should try and use some wood to rest the rocks on as you cut, stronger than the plastic and will cause less vibration/shaking of the rock that’s being cut
@@AgateDad good to hear. I’m doing the same. I broke my wrist last year; so I’m getting back to playing. I’ve healed well but my mobility in the wrist is still not as it was. But I’m determined to get back to how I was before the injury.

Those last two looks like lake landscapes... amazingT
I love when I see a post of rock cutting by you!😄☺️👍
I am just as excited to see what is on the inside as much as you are!
That last one was so unexpected! I was shocked by the color differences and how clearly it was separated!
Love the heart at 3.24 and the others too. I'm from Idaho so I think we have pretty rocks! LOL
I love how some of these Idaho agates look like yellow potatoes

Some kinds of landscapes inside of them, integrating the earth' s story surely. 🤗😉👍🏻🌹
Loved the last one black and white.
That last rock 🪨 is my favorite out of all the rocks you just cut.
I‘m laughing everytime you say „what a stinker being“ 😂
The second one has a sauropod profile! 🦕

Wow! These very distinct "water" level stripes @ 3:42 are fantastic!
Yes they are!

I liked that last one the best actually. The really dark waterline was beautiful!
I love a good awkward nodule cutting 😂
So funky!
Hermoso trabajo!👍🏻👍🏻 Los Cecimates un poroto al lado de tu mate😂😂
Cutting potatoes???
Making wedges 😅
Potatoes from the land of potatoes.
That's what it looks like sweet tater

Those are beautiful! the last one has a face in it on the bottom left corner of the one side! so cool
Cut, cut, cut. I thought you were going to make French fries, but you made beautiful jewlery instead. I espically like the dark light one. Keep having fun!
@1:37 the it looks like blue flame/fire on like a match or candle 🤷🏼♀️ just my opinion
@4:00 looks like tear drops very cool
3:52! So cool!
Your fave, awkward nod, and the last one are my faves
🙌☺️
Now that it is cold you can be a polishing and cutting fool. Winner winner chicken dinner, nice stuff have a great weekend.
I grew up in North Idaho & collected rocks all the time. Who knew what lay beneath the surface? May have to take it up again. We have some pretty garnets up there too.
How heavy would a slice the teardrop 8:34 one be? It would make pretty earrings. Some of the others would make beautiful jewelry also.
3:19 Those look like wings so cool!
Liked the last one, unique
I liked the amethyst agate the best!
Love your video! You given us another place to hunt on our way to Montana!
If you want to check whether one of those quartz/calcite/ possible amethyst nodules are amethyst, cut a slice and play around with a light on different angles. Sometimes the colour really popts out if the light hits it right
Those would make excellent slabs for jewelry.
Yay I have decided to get the I Lick Rocks stickers but I need to wait to ask for my parents permission and I need to wait 30 more minutes until the Premier 😅 also "It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!"
☺️❤️
Thanks Braxton!
If you turned the Idaho agate at 3:17 a little bit more it's the same shape as Idaho.
😘👍🙏❤️ Well-done good job God bless
these look almost identical to ochoco agates. very cool
Should be some great ones look like eastern ones
The larger flat agate looked like an ancient axe. The one before the "turkey" agate.
those potatoes are crazy
You should try and use some wood to rest the rocks on as you cut, stronger than the plastic and will cause less vibration/shaking of the rock that’s being cut
That’s a good idea :)
Where did these agates come from? I'm from Idaho and would love to go find some the next time I go home!

Those agates are so cool !! What part of Idaho are they from? They look close to the ones I used to find when I lived there .
Central Idaho!
Good morning. How's everyone there in Minnesota? Is it snowing yet? Love you videos! Thanks! ❤️😃🥶
It’s trying, cold but not really sticking
@@AgateDad You'll have to make a video of the falling snow. It's so beautiful and peaceful looking. ❤️
Why do many Idaho agate nodules have a rounded end and a flat one?
Angel wings ❤
To avoid possibly creating fraction when cutting make sure there are no knobbys on the top or bottom of your cut.
Angel Wings. Beautiful
Гарні агати, деякі особливо.
I loved the last one because it looked like a snow cone 🍧 👅
That is my favourite.
What are you dressing your saw with? And where did you purchase it.
It’s a dressing stick and is available at hi tech diamond linktr.ee/AgateDad
It looks like Angel wings
The thumbnail look like some kind of seafood with herbs sprinkled
Dude, you scare me with how close your fingers are. Thanks for videos.
It’s a perfect heart.
PARABENS TAYLOR!! BELÍSSIMAS PEDRAS....DEUS VOS ABENÇOE MUITO

Idaho potato nodule
Lots of funky potato’s 🥔
I see icicle ornaments

Angel wings
Do you know what area in Idaho they’re from? Curious because my brother used to live in Victor…
I do not
🤗❤️
👍👍😍😍
👍👍👍
Do you play guitar often?
I’m starting to again
@@AgateDad good to hear. I’m doing the same. I broke my wrist last year; so I’m getting back to playing. I’ve healed well but my mobility in the wrist is still not as it was. But I’m determined to get back to how I was before the injury.
I’m really enjoying those videos of the Malawi agates. Those stones when cut, are so unique and beautiful. Keep up the amazing job you’re doing.
❤
I don't know what happened but the audio dropped out a few minutes into this video.
Try rewatching, worked for me
Petrified Potatoes?
Right! A bit over cooked!
Poor Idaho. Even their agates look like potatoes.
Idaho is awesome
Is it me? or did one look like an idaho potato.
Totally
WHAT ME iM A EGG >:(
You make cuts in a hurry, you fracture and chip the stones and the grinds are curved. The sanding must be flat, not curved
Really?.......!!!
