Just one little thing... thanks for taking up my idea and I'm sorry it added more hassle than it should have. I would have put some of the roof across to see how it would have look first before doing any word. Also the noggins... I think the top of them should have been in line with the slope like joists are. You have them attached so they look like steps. Will that be enough of a surface to add strength to the roof because it will in effect be resting on the pointed edges and will the bolts/screws have enough material to get a proper grip through the metal sheeting, because the screws won't be able to go deep into the noggins?
Yeah I know what you mean with the sloping joists, I can’t recall the angle I did them at? we’ve got a few sizes of the self tapping roofing screws.. I’ll be putting them on this week, painting that gable end will be a job n half..
I can’t call myself a joiner, just diy enthusiast.. Dave’s the main man with that skill haha
@@matthewadamsofficial Sorry mate I meant the top face of the noggins should be level with the top edge of the long sides. Imagine if you built a frame on the floor and and made it all flat then picked it up and then fastened it to the wall as one piece. It woudn't matter what angle you fastened it to the wall it would all be flat. I know what I mean but crap at describing it lol..... Got it... it should look like a bunk bed ladder.

Even when you're having a moan you still come across as calm & collected. So no toxic negativity as far as I can see. :-)
Beams look good. Be even better once varnished and with white walls. Not much storage in the houses. Wonder if you could do something in roof space where that hole is above stairs like a small makeshift loft.
The fireplace be a nice feature if done up right and log burner in there.
Not convinced about extending that roof as think it will look very odd. Shame you couldn’t have done small house roof in reclaimed slate but know finances are limited.
Yes these houses are what we would call cozy haha! There’s going to be some storage at the top of the stairs that will have a combination lock on, there’s some underneath the stairs and also in the main bedroom :)
Yeah if money wasn’t so tight reclaimed slate would have been a proper job but at £5 each i couldn’t make it work :)
This week we will tell wether or not the extended roof will look good.. who knows haha!
Your getting there now the ends in sight all being it’s a dot of light but you will get there and you will know what is where and how such and such has been done. Keep going..😊😊
