      Hey guys, I have a pro tip for you. If you wear eye protection when you paint or sand drywall, you can use kitchen plastic wrap to stretch over the lenses. When it gets covered in debris just peel off and replace. It’s much easier than having eyes full of dust and paint. 🤩

    Pro-Tip on Paint Machines, clean them really well with fresh water when finished and then even after a year of sitting simply prime with fresh water then switch quickly to a 5 gallon bucket of paint and it picks it up quickly. As for paint in the eyes, safety glasses and baby wipes to keep them clean works great... You guys are awesome. Love your videos.

    My other pro tip for you is to use a 6 inch extension on the gun. Really helps with the low stuff not having to lean over. Also there is a 12inch hose extension called a whip which helps with wrestling with long hose that can be very stiff. The whip has more flexibility making it easier on your wrist after spraying all day

    @robj2704 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow. You could paint Jason's truck with that paint sprayer.

  • @tamoose1
    @tamoose1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Woah!!! Slow down on that sprayer guys. If you run just water through it from time to time make sure you use the blue fluid that is a rust inhibitor!!!
    Also putting scratch in that ball can lead to poor priming. It wants to be fairly perfect. Use a stiff plastic tool instead of metal.
    Usually it’s a small dried clump of paint keeping the ball from seating properly.

    @trevorhardy3544 ปีที่แล้ว

    You should always put a longer hose on the shop vac exhaust and put it outside. Otherwise your shop vac exhaust is just blowing more drywall dust into the air. Also, drywall dust on walls can stay there. It’s the same stuff in paint and won’t do anything to the finish if left. Just extra work not needed.

    Another pro tip may be to cover electrical boxes (outlets, switch and lights) with a piece of tape before spraying so the wires don't get covered.

    • @MAGAMAN
      @MAGAMAN 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A little paint on the wires won't hurt anything.

    • @sw5926
      @sw5926 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MAGAMAN not necessarily hurt, but it makes it harder for the electricians sometimes to identify wires, and sometimes covers their markings.

      Just mask everything off that can’t have paint on it… and wear a respirator

    Pro Tip:
    If you guys have 75% of your primer mixed 50/50 with the finish color you will use less paint when you finish. The ceilings are the other 25% and you leave that white.

      Yeah I would like to get one! Having a compact camera really makes our show possible… My only complaint about the 12 pro is that in the wide angle lens mode, the picture gets a little grainy unless it’s really bright

    Before coming to Norway my father used to be a builder in Denmark back in the 70s and the 80s and it was always fascinating listening to storys both on how things were different because they build everything with brick, but also because hand tools was the norm.

    Hey guys great content. Just so you know, I think Windsor One will be in touch with y’all regarding trim and mill work. Also consider construction methods in France - remember their don’t have the forests they used to, mostly mason maturials
