I run Apex EC-7, No hub centric rings required and they accept all OEM hardware, including big brakes! but I did replace my lugs because I wanted black
You won’t need hubcentric rings if you have a lug centric setup. I have a set of cosmis 18x9.5 XT206-R’s +33 with 5mm spacers to clear my Brembos and they fit great
Well done video. All accurate information. I've sold wheels and tires for the past 5 years, and just recently picked up a 16 STI. Wasn't sure what offset and width to go with for the flush look, so you answered that. My current (stock) wheels are running a spacer and I wanted to eliminate that, but keep the clean, flush look. Keep it up my dood and thanks!
Your videos are always so helpful. By the time that i may own one of these, i will thankfully be educated and ready to care for such a beautiful machine.
I’ve been looking at some Titan7 T-S5 forged wheels Cobb edition, I believe they are 22-2300 a set. And fit without any fender modifications needed. I have looked at cast wheels like Rota’s and such however I can’t allow Myself to cheap out on wheels when the lives of myself or children could be in the balance. Besides it’s to easy to get nice ones there are so many finance options like 1-200 a month.
I have those rims. Just picked them up. I have them wrapped Michelin Pilot 4s. I haven't installed them yet since I am in winter right now. But I plan to lower the car to get rid of the gap. Due to the size of the tire, I will have to roll the fender. 265/35/18
I have two stock rims one 19" for 2018 sti and the other 18" stock 2017 sti. I want to use stock rims just want to have a poke without spacers. I believe both rims are 8.5 what tire size can I use?
Hi, I have a question, but is the fourth series of the WRX wider or equal to the third series? From the photos the third series of the Impreza WRX would seem the widest of all.
I have a 2015 Subaru WRX with OEM rims and tire size 235/45/R17. I want to upgrade to the 19” STI rims and get tire size 245/40/R19. Will this cause any issues like rubbing, etc?
How much more offset do you wish you went with? Something closer to +20 or +30? Deciding on some new wheels and am looking at the Artisa ArtFormed Elders. I love the aggressive poke of offset wheels, and am just deciding if I want +22 or +35. If I go with 18 x 9.5 +22, I wanna make sure I don't rub either. Tires would be either 255 or 265 /35/R18
Whats the best way to go about getting a flush look with my stock 18’ wheels on my 2020 wrx? Should i get spacers, If so what size? Im also looking to lower my car on some coilovers, if that makes a difference.
Anybody running a stock suspension 2021 wrx sti with work emotion ZR10 19x9.5 +38 with michelin pilot sport 4S, 265/35/19? Any issues for those who tried it? Thanks!
Hi thank you for the video,, I whant to change my tires from 18 inch to 19 ,, what is your advice about the width is 8.5 or 9.5 ? and what the offset ?
Great video! If you can help me out (anyone) it would be greatly appreciated. I have a 20 STI and looking for some winter wheels that aren't really that expensive since I need tires as well (live in PA). Looking at 18x8.5 or 9.5 but don't know the best offset or bolt pattern. I would just like them to have the same stance as my current 19" (factory offset of 55). Or if you can like me to a forum/fb post, that is also a big help.
@@AutoEnthusiast thanks so much. I been searching for quite some time now for what offset to get as well but I needed to know what size wheels to get as well.
jus ordered sum Avid a06 and they wanted $50 lugnuts, should i buy them or buy a another pair that u said from the vid. also i don’t know which size i need for the lug nuts and same with the hub centric.
what tire size should i go with. I got cosmis racing wheels 18x9.5 +10. Im on stock suspension dont plan on any suspension mods. I can roll the fender if needed.
It's important to talk about the camber needs with these specs as well to fit them under the arches without rubbing, not just with full lock.
i use 17's for my winter tires and 18's for the summer

18 x 9.5 + 40 SSR GTX01 on my WRX, looks perfect, light weight and great on street and track. Can’t beat a JDM wheel.
How much did they run you?
@@AutoEnthusiast I’m in Australia but around $1430usd if I convert it.
Hey bro I just bought the same wheels! Did you need to buy the hub centric rings to mount them? Even though they're lug centric wheels
I just wanna fit 18" wrx wheel on my STI as my winter set, both are 2014 and newer gen aka VA

18x9.5 +35 looks more poke than flush with stock suspension imo
It is a little!
A great video. Very detailed and should help others. Stay safe brother.
Thanks for the support!
Your car would look so much better with some negative camber on the front wheels, better handling too, even neg 1.5 each side 👌

Would a +30 be too much on stock suspension or even rce yellow springs
I was thinking of putting the s209 flares on my sti
YES! Too much.
If I get new wheels do I have to change the tires due to size?
What are the exact wheel and tire specs on your car in this video?
I have a set of wedsport SA72r's in 17x9.5 + 47 offset.
Will this fit or will I need spacers?

Nope! I am in Boston!
What wheels are those

5x114.3
Go 8.5 if winters
Basically find the closet to stock if you are doing snow driving because the car is optimal with a stock setup in the snow

Nope
