Come back and point out all the targets that they will never meet and keep pushing the dates further down the line (pun intended.) And have you noticed the many other projects that have failed in the oi;l producing nations? Jedda Tower? Those palm tree islands sinking? etc. From what I have read the fitrst residents are meant to move in by 2024. That is very unlikely, and even if that does happen, the project will never turn out anything like the promotional videos proclaim. It reminds me of Elon Musk. All CGI and promises which never come to fruition. If someone sells you a dream tell 'em you'll sleep on it. Anyway I look forward to seeing the progress of this crazy idea.

Norway and Iceland do it so much better with their distribution of wealth amongst all their citizens, whereas the OPEC countries just have all the money and the poor suffer. Go look up facts. What's in their mind to create such a long tunnel city, I have been wondering.. There might not be an airport, or travel by sea, or go anywhere else in their own country, Saudi Arabia. And what if fire happens, or earthquake, etc.
After seeing the history and development of this idea, I've come to the conclusion that either a) this project was never meant to be completed and was purely created in order to keep Saudi Arabia in the thoughts of potential investors. Or option b) the ruling family does not have enough voices that are willing to stand up and criticise their stupid ideas
