I believe every country should focus on its own resources and land. Improving and sustaining the quality of life for its citizens should be the top priority for every leader.
Thanks from Saudi Arabian.

Finally, a positive video about the Saudi Arabia project coming from a Western media instead of the same copy pasta accusations & misinformation
dont worry. saudi is doing this for themselves and note the wests validation. when its all said and done. when the west collapses. they'll see saudi arabia was right all along
Yes, i agree.
Because everything is perfect in Saudi Arabia. Just ask Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
😂😂😂@@GenXerReacts
Love it. Hope they succeed beyond their dreams.
I hope Saudi Arabia does this and makes it work great! How amazing would it be to see the desert forested! We love Saudi Arabia!
we love you too
Not gonna work
@@stephen-k yeah , we will see then
Are you some sort of a scientist or enviroment specialist??

This will happen and the Arabian Peninsula will become meadows and rivers. I am sure of the success of the project because of a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad that says the Arabian Peninsula will return to being meadows and rivers.
Hadith of the End Times. it is happen now.
This is better idea than that stupid one line city the King is proposing
@@NL-tq1yr Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud is the Crown Prince and PM not the King.
In order for the KSA (and MENA) to become a viable environmental and commercial proposition there has to be an abundance of man-made rivers, interconnected canals, lakes and inland sea to create the geographical advantages of a terrain conducive to a productive and profitable habitability specific to that region.
صل الله عليه وسلم
I'll support this project because if it's becoming a successful project. We can reverse desertification across the World. 👍👍
May God Bless Saudi Arabia excessively.
انا من الملكه العربيه السعوديه 🇸🇦 نحب من يحبنا ونكره من يكرهنا شكرا جزيرا لكم
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said *“The Hour will not be established until wealth is so abundant and overflowing that a man will go out with his wealth to give alms but not find anyone who accepts it from him, and until rivers and meadows return to the land of Arabia”*
so what? is not haram even if it's haram is not your business

What hour ?
It's a bold and visionary plan that could have a significant impact on the environment and the quality of life in the region. 🌳
This is fantastic news, I really hope Saudi Arabia succeeds in these green projects, and then it will encourage other countries to follow their example
It also adopted several pioneering national initiatives to enhance environmental conservation, most notably the Saudi Green and Middle East Green initiatives.
urbanplanadvisor AI fixes this. Saudi plan to green desert
Very informative and comprehensive thank you for this effort
Saudi arabia to establish large solar covered areas to avoid direct incidence of sunshine on land and plant shrubs and grasses like clover and alfalfa to initiate nitrogen fixation before before planting trees.
Renewable energy could be exported over long distances.
great vision 🎉
Impressive content, as a saudi this information was helpful to know more details about our projects , thanks for the effort 💚🇸🇦
Very ambitious and good to see. I wish them well and hope they are successful. China has successfully greened a lot of it's deserts.
Im living in Riyadh for a decade. And yes its happening. Thats Garden is actually inside the City and near my home 😊. Ongoing construction
@@sofiyiah5172You are more than welcome
Bravo .. all the countries have to do same
MBS really is a visionary! What an amazing pick for future king!
Congratulations saudI looking Joss 😊❤
Great to hear!!well in, every country should follow suit!!❤❤❤❤
Reforesting the deserts is an Honorable endeavor.
😮🥳😳😍 WOW!!!!! So many important initiatives, look forward to see it built, in the years to come, beautiful!! 👌
I hope all this work turns out to be a success.
Saudi Arabia has all the tools to make it happen so as long as they keep on their path, they can and will accomplish it! Now if they can just get The Line completed...
The crown prince's opening remarks addressed the urgency for the kingdom to diversify away from oil revenue dependency, while also describing how crucial Saudi Arabia's oil reserves are for the next stage of Vision 2030.

Allahu Akbar
Once the tees are established well and over the whole area the climate will change permanently and their biggest problem will be to much rain. They will need to make channels throughout the nation.Yes they can.
YES WE CAN.
Saudi Arabia has unveiled an ambitious and forward-thinking plan that could have a far-reaching impact on the country's environment and quality of life. It has also introduced several groundbreaking national initiatives to enhance environmental conservation, most notably the Saudi Green Initiative.
Great 👍
The Kingdom is among the countries that prioritize the environment and sustainable development. It has comprehensive strategic plans aimed at achieving a balance between economic growth and environmental protection, and it has taken significant steps to build a more sustainable ecological future since the 2016 launch of Vision 2030.
Thanks to the brilliant futuristic Crown Prince whose great ideas will give future generations comfort and harmony.
Great video, loved it!
Well, they have already performed test areas, in particular one south of Jeddah, which needed some water to get started and later thrived on its own naturally. It was designed to slow and collect its own water from minimal rainfall. This also stopped flash flooding in the test areas. So, I hope this can be expanded but it will take some time. The positive effects way outshine the drawbacks.
SAUDI 😍💚
I love saudi❤
Saudi Arabia should invest in education. Green belt should be developed in coastal area and slowly moving towards inner country side.
say you're kidding me For the year 2024 (195) billion riyals, which represents (15.58%) of the country general budget. So if you dont what that means a lot of money for
comparison (STEM Invention for a Saudi college is 216 KFUPM 7000 saudi students) vs (North Africa and Middle East 440,000,000 million half a billion 186 STEM Invention)so don't say anything about education in Saudi(STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely connected areas of study: science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
they do invest in education. What you suggest with the green belt is insanely stupid.
Great video. If Saudi Arabia were in Nato, more people from the West would feel safe (not saying that they feel unsafe now) and if the cultural differences would not affect a lot of people then they could focus on green tourism. I think it is doable, they just need create safe international environment and generate some how more water.
He reported Allaah's Messenger as saying, "The last hour will not come before wealth is abundant and overflowing, before a man brings the zakat on his property and cannot find anyone to accept it from him, and before the land of the Arabs becomes meadows and rivers." In a version by him he said, "the dwellings reach to Ihab or Yihab[*]."
*Either two places in the neighbourhood of Medina, or alternative names for the same place. Cf, Yaqut,
Mu'jam, 1:408.
Muslim transmitted it.
Allahu Akbar
Saudi Arabia invest in the future since a long time. This country will get a big tourist destinantion. From Ski Resort to beach Restort. As well they investiert also in Agraculture.and Farming.
There are amazing desert trees and probably none more amazing the the prickly acacia which grows everywhere in the middle east
New York state is what was depicted when they mentioned reforesting an area the size of New York city. Very different things.
Yes we can
Where are they going to get the water?
I wish them well and I hope they are being careful about diversity in their tree planting and planning because this can go very poorly if they go for monoculture planting for the sake of speed and cost.
Greening earth should be every country endeavour
Opportunistic seeding by plane when conditions are right(just after rain)
🇪🇬🇹🇳❤️🇸🇦
👍👍
African's countries already did similar project. They doing grate to this days (Great Green Wall)
prophet muhammad said "The Hour will not begin until the land of the Arabs once again becomes meadows and rivers. Narrated by Muslim (157)."
I wonder is this calculated as the sign of the end of the world, cause they are trying hard to developing their environment and they aware of climax change, if they dont maybe disaster will follow up quick cause the temperatures there are so freaking hot you know, and its much btter than make trouble on the world like zionist did
Would adding trees change their wardrobe?
Nice video bro
Long life MBS. We couldn't dream of all these dramatic changes before he appeared.
This must be why they’re building the largest, fastest and longest roller coaster there. Hmmm 🤔🧐
Saudis should get rid of the line project. Better invest money in this project. This green project will also get a lot more appreciation from around the world
Where are they getting this water? De salination?
the only important question. rainwater collectin XD
I agree ,it would have been helpful to hear much more about how the water is going to be sourced instead of the rather boastful numbers and stats
Fyi. We can proudly say we have free water on the roads for people to drink. If there is none we won’t use it to increase humidity on crowded places.
@@scGD10 Thanks Michael. It is lovely that drinking water is being made available for everyone and that Saudi is spending some of its huge financial resources on reclaiming desert lands, which will benefit all of us by helping to manage global warming. It's just really scary not to know exactly how such huge quantities of fresh water are produced, eg how much from desalination, how much from irreplaceable aquifers, how much from recycled used water and how much can be gathered and preserved from rain water and whether all this adds up to enough to keep the new greenery alive. Also it's rather scary if the water for people is provided in long-term polluting plastic bottles. Saudi representatives were very cautious about looking at reducing plastic manufacture at the recent conference.
@ yes plastic bottles are a problem. So many free water bottles in the side of the roads for people to pick up and walk off with it. I know littering gives a fine to the person. But still they can do it.
It can be achieved. The deserts can be made to blossom. Solar Water massive water recovery technology (SWCSP as opposed to high pollution SWRO) producing inexhaustible supply of fresh clean water can hasten desert greening (reclamation) through sustainable farming and forestry to 'biodiversify' the region into the bread, fruit, dairy and vegetable basket to the world.
I like the idea tho
The more green u have there water u will have
I hope it comes reality specially when other countries are deforestation for Animal farm or food farming so if one is destroying and Another is trying to Green that's a positive
1 lake per day to water the trees, this is not going to end well
186 billion sounds like alot of money, until you consider it is less than 20% of what we spend on military each year in America.
water?
Introducing hydroponics (intensive good production) powered with mechanical hearts or Gravity Buoyancy Solution... mini-hydroelectrics using water tanks and New vertical Water Displacement solutions.
The Locust will have an all you can eat buffet....
Yes rather than neom they should green their desert

Respect to china who will provide 🎉🎉🎉

The Kingdom adopted a national strategy for the environment and launched a package of national legislation, strategies, and plans to protect, develop, and sustain the environment.
Before A land ,, this land is Ocean,, and all land on earth is in deep ocean... Earth spining, And where the deseert willl go to another land....
And cloud seeding when conditions are right. With their budget none of this would be impossible.
China is the successful model they can borrow some experiences. Deseart disappered in China. Work it hard my brother!
Sounds like they read Dune
There is a way or should l say several ways.Use salt water and salt water plants.
Circular Economy thinking.
Many many areas of land surrounded by electric fences permanently to allow regrowth of trees etc. no animals allowed for years
How about the other Arab coutries
Everytime
They need to focus on biodiversity , soil improvement , and water harvesting , more diverse species support the ecosystem overall and ensures the survival of the system , monoculture on the other end is guaranteed to lead to failure and there are plenty of failed projects around the world when monoculture was utilised…..
Why "before and after" and not "then and now"?
Because every king has his own plan, so should MBS eliminate other candidates from the start?
Accept
When you look at the old maps from google earth you can see nothing have changed.
Where are the photos and videos of the progress? This feels like clickbait. Interviews of people engineers etc?
Search for King Salman Park and you will see the progress. I live in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom, and the park area is very large. It will be finished soon. All the residents are excited about it.
This is just a huge ad. Where's the critical view?
If they can occupy Mars in the future its not impossible to plant trees on Earth
They will succeed. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ predicted it. The Chinese are already doing it in their country.
Trees need water. Where will that come from?
desalination
Didn't you know that Saudi Arabia is one of the richest countries in underground water?
Treated water
Did you know that the pipes that transport desalinated water from the sea are larger than the Nile and Euphrates rivers without the stores, even just the capacity in the pipes?
@@wellytms4713 Not enough of it. And whence cometh the treated water in the first place, pray tell?
محمد بن سلمان قائدي 🤗
Maybe UAE 🇦🇪 opposes
This in not a simple project and it’s ambition was mentioned. To improve the welfare of citizens. Many studies have shown how being around plants improve human mental health.
Unfortunately this too will come at an incredibly cost in regards to emissions (co2)
A break even figure with regards to carbon being sequestred or savings through renewable energy could never be achieved. Maybe in 5,000 years. Massive amounts of this energy will be required to desalinate water which is already the case for all of their water.
It’s not green washing but don’t be fooled that’s it’s any benefit long term to the environment.
Our immediate and existential treat called climate change.
The Saudi Arabic's green inititive has already been successful in China since 1990s. Therefore, I think Saudi can outsource Chinese companies for the green inititive. th-cam.com/video/bO2Hz3oX5d8/w-d-xo.html
