This is a brief about the number of umbrellas and their cost. 250 movable umbrellas cover the courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque in its four directions, with an area of 143 thousand square meters. They were designed in a precise engineering manner according to special construction specifications that are resistant to wind, fire and rain, at a total cost of 4.7 billion riyals. One umbrella covers 576 square meters, consisting of two overlapping parts, one above the other to achieve overlap between them. The dimensions of the umbrella are about 25.5 meters, its weight is about 40 tons and its height reaches about 22 meters, in addition to the fact that it operates with an automatic system to open and close it. The umbrellas of the Prophet’s Mosque are distinguished by containing 436 spray fans that help reduce temperatures, while the fans treat approximately 200 liters of water per hour, in addition to the presence of more than 100 lighting units on the umbrellas of the Prophet’s Mosque. The perimeter of one umbrella accommodates more than 900 worshipers, and more than 228 thousand worshipers in the umbrellas as a whole.
Madina, for me, is the most peaceful place on earth out of all the placeive been to. You detach yourself from the worries and stresses of the world. And you find total peace.
Part of the magical experience of Mecca and Medinah is that the rhythm and flow of your day is mainly regulated by the 5 times of compulsory prayer which is your connection to the Divine whereas normally often times in other places it is more regulated by wordly activity and pleasure.
There is a beautiful story behind the AL Baik chicken! Also you must be around the shopping areas close to the masjid when the prayer is called where you witness d stores are left open and everyone throng to the masjid for prayers.
The reason why you find peace there is very simple. This is the land where the greatest creation of Allah is buried. This place is blessed because this town sheltered our beloved Phrophet at a very difficult period of his life. I would invite you to learn more about this great man and his teachings, which hopefully will guide you to Islam. Insha Allah. I have been there a few times, and I know the feeling. You are fortunate to go there, as many Muslims around the world dream day and night about this opportunity.

Thank you for sharing such wonderful data and stats about a part of the mosque people take for granted and often overlooked.
Thank you for the interesting background
Madina, for me, is the most peaceful place on earth out of all the placeive been to. You detach yourself from the worries and stresses of the world. And you find total peace.
may Allah swt protect you sir and to guide you ameen ameen ❤
Part of the magical experience of Mecca and Medinah is that the rhythm and flow of your day is mainly regulated by the 5 times of compulsory prayer which is your connection to the Divine whereas normally often times in other places it is more regulated by wordly activity and pleasure.
There is a beautiful story behind the AL Baik chicken!
Also you must be around the shopping areas close to the masjid when the prayer is called where you witness d stores are left open and everyone throng to the masjid for prayers.
Most peaceful place ever humans to be very amazing even your soul feels a peace Madina munawara my heart ❤
Madina is heaven 😍 on earth, so peaceful, spiritual 🙏
may Allah guide you sir.. aminn
It’s incredible ❤ for Madina
The reason why you find peace there is very simple. This is the land where the greatest creation of Allah is buried. This place is blessed because this town sheltered our beloved Phrophet at a very difficult period of his life. I would invite you to learn more about this great man and his teachings, which hopefully will guide you to Islam. Insha Allah. I have been there a few times, and I know the feeling. You are fortunate to go there, as many Muslims around the world dream day and night about this opportunity.
I do indeed feel very thankful for having had the opportunity to visit, experience and learn
Wow have just come back from Medina... i wish you could have had some food from the stall further up from you hotel😅. Great video
Couldn't go there yet as a Muslim. I wish to go there one day at any cost.
I hope you can someday soon
Brother Almighty Allah bless you to the straight path
