2001 to 2006 Mazda Tribute SUV Factory Transmitter Remote Programming How To

1. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door
locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.
2. Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm
programming.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to
confirm programming.
4. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

I reprogrammed the remote, and all doors lock and unlock, however my drivers side door will not unlock with the remote or the button on the door. I noticed this happened after having to jumpstart my car this afternoon, is that related to my issue?

Please, I need help. I am trying to locate the valet switch (small black button under driver side of dash) on my Truck but is unable. Unsure where its located. My SUV is 2005 Mazda Tribute. I would be glad to see a TH-cam Video providing visual view as to the exact location of this Valet switch. Thanks.

By "First" keyless remote - does that mean the OLD remote? Or just the first of the new ones you want to program?

Susan Pearce your door actuator of the back tail gate is broken. It could be the motor or the plastic gears of the actuator.
