Replaced the transmission control module on my 2002 dodge grand caravan work van due to been stuck in limp mode 2nd gear, after install the problem was still there and was disheartened, more research led me to realizing i had to reset the TCM and then i came across your video, Initially i was skeptical but gave it a go, IT WORKS!!, not only does it work, its works better than ever. Thank-you so much for the information

Damn bro how much was the new transmission control module ? I had my check engine light come on, took it to autozone, n dey said I needed a new one. They were going for like $600-$800 so I needed to find another way 😂. I found out about resetting the cars computer, so I did it (and also changed my transmission fluid because it actually really needed a change) n now my car was running great. But about a week after I reset it, my gauge that tells me if my car is overheating or not, isn’t working. I’m gonna do another reset just to see if it will fix but I’m not sure

What the hell is a V20? A Volvo? They have a completely different electrical system than the Chevy truck in this video and doing what is did accomplished nothing except perhaps a better connection from the battery to the alternator and cars electrical system. It is no longer B+ to the dash, it is serial data thru one wire and some two wires twisted 9 times per foot to prevent RFI. Don't know what that is...Stop! With battery disconnected & jump positive to negative is simply drain capacitors which is fruitless, waist of time. From 1998 and newer, the dash or instrument cluster (IP) has power, ground and class-2 serial data to operate the shifter's position and gages. Those signals are class-2 a signal from 0-7 volts and a good volt-ohm-meter on pin two of the OBD-2 connector (Cavity 2 - 1.5mm wide) will show 3.5 volts on average on an active circuit. By disconnecting the battery does nothing. Saved favorite radio satiations are still saved on an electronic erasable programmable read-only-memory or (EEPROM) as these are used in almost every module. Re-connecting the battery most likely fixed a dirty-corroded cable and have system voltage, 13.2 volts hot to 14.6 volts hot. By disconnecting the battery (If it will run) you lost the opportunity to check and diagnose the root cause by seeing 12.6 volts at the alternator B+ & ground, then 12.7 volts the battery bolts on the side. If you had a (DVOM) with a Min-Max feature, set it to voltage, crank over, go back to the (DVOM) and see 9.8 volts. This maybe enough to start it be freaks out the electronics or produces 10.4 volts to the entire system while running. Even the shift display has an electric switch on the side, by hydraulic switch inside on the valve body of the 4L60e. Alternators produce direct current, get hot and change output depending on temperature. The lower the temp, the higher the charge. But is one of the 3 positive diodes or 3 negative diodes fail and leak voltage backwards, then A/C voltage goes out thru the entire DC system. This activity disrupted the 0-7 volt class-2 serial data signal, UART, Keyword 2000, Keyword 2001 or GM-LAN (Two wires, twisted 9 times per foot, 120 ohm termination resistors at end modules. 1 volt high & 1 volt low to offset high voltage induction and frequently foil covered and connected to ground.
So I work this video but I thought I saw a spaceship flying right out me then turned and went straight up a disappeared in the sky faster than anything I have ever seen! Which is true? DK, ASE Master Tech since 1978, mechanic since 1970

Have a 2003 Trailblazer EXT Northface Edition 195000 miles, 4.2L 4WD. Had an issue come up where I was losing MPG and power, wouldn't stay on cruise control. Took it to a mechanic in another town because it broke down on the highway, spent $80 for a sensor, no joy. Replaced battery, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and had oil changed; still no joy. Towed it to my long time mechanic ($180 for 40 miles), learned catalytic converter was full. Had it replaced. Still not right. Seafoamed it in gas tank and cleaned throttle body, still engine stuttering and bad mileage. Watched this video, replaced plugs with Bosch plugs and followed directions to clear ECU memory. Took it out and drove it, 45MPH on cruise without any stuttering; 70 MPH, no stuttering; 55 MPH no stuttering and fuel economy is back to normal. Problem seems to be gone! If it is, saved me buying another ECU and having it programmed, probably $800 or more. Thank you!!!!

On a modern car this could possible cause power spike in the capacitor causing more issue or even new issues including a fried ecu. You should always use a resistor inline between the negative and positive cables. 1ohm 10w resistor should take roughly 15min . You can use higher resistor but Higher resistors wil need to be connected longer

Special exfil exit glitch works if you do it during the countdown too. We do it daily cause we initially were under the impression we have to close the game before the countdown ran out. 😂

Interesting video. I just disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and then turn on the lights to clear out residual power.

Okay I was driving with a bad camshaft position sensor and the signal was so weak that the ECU turn off the fuel and spark. But once I replace the camshaft position sensor the fuel and spark is still off and my car still won't start. I did this and still won't start. You can't turn the fuel and spark back on once it has been turned off. I'm just going to have to replace the spark plugs again and I'm gonna have to replace the fuel pump. Bad camshaft sensor really messed up my car. Now that I have the new camshaft sensor my car still won't start.

@@BryanG830You might have got a bad sensor. I'd take it back and have it replaced. Before I put a new fuel pump in it. Because fuel and spark are both controlled by the computer. Sounds like the computer still isn't getting signal from the cam shaft sensor. And getting bad electronic parts happens all the time. Just a suggestion because I had the same issue with a Toyota Corolla. Replaced the cam sensor a second time and fixed it.

    Awesome video 🙏🏽
I’ve ordered a remanufactured BMC flashed to my vin twice, and both times got a no start. I’ll probably have to perform this process to get it going, but now I’m wondering what will happen if I reset my original BCM 🤔
I’ve had my truck for 2 years and the horn never worked, and the same with the A/C. Recently the third brake light stopped working
Since last summer my CEL would flash after about 3K rpms, it started idling rough, and had all types of codes.
Replaced everything, cleaned all grounds, and now I’m down to the BCM, but I’m really wondering if this step will cure it of the random codes, cel flashing and everything else.
    THANKS!!!

On my 2012 Dodge Caravan, I changed both the thermostat and driver's side blend heater door actuator (AC/heater under dash) because of clicking and operation of controls. afterwards, I cleared the DTC codes with reader. I've driven the car since May for about 200 miles. Still my DTC scanner reader says no codes detected and my car fails inspection sticker. What are my options/reason why/how I can proceed to get it reading again so I can get inspection pass. Thanks

Great video ty. I got P770 error on my car and replaced the solenoids and still came on. The guy eventually replaced the entire tranny cause he was not sure why it keeps coming on. Even after the replaced tranny the check engine light came on again with same error and I am so frustrated. Will this system work for me? I have a 2001 toyota sequoia. Pls advice. ty

Would It be safe for me to do and get the stock/original tune back if the previous owner of my truck (2003 Sierra 1500 5.3l) took it to a shop and paid to have a custom "gas saver" tune put on it? and if so it would just revert my truck's tune back to stock right?
Because that's the goal here since the tune on it now doesnt allow it to rev past 3k rpm in any gear when on a stock tune 1st and 2nd gear shift out at 52-5600rpm.. so the truck just feels gutless and I to revert back

I have an odd issue with a 95 k3000 where a brand new and tested good battery only registers 1/3 charge and won't even kick over the starter. I was thinking of reseting the ecu/tcu etc. Going to follow this procedure and see if it helps any.

After replacing the fuel pump in my Jeep grand cherokee laredo 3.7 WK- Im now having a problem with a vapor lock and my new pump is making a ringing/humming noise off and on-is there a way to fix it with a inline check valve or inline filter of some sort. I have to release pressure on the fuel rail to re-crank it after it runs for more than 20 minutes/ which is a possible fire risk.
