Mazda 6 automatic windows programming (electrical mechanism calibration)

- Mazda 6 automatic windows programming is needed after car battery replace. To use this feature you need to program electrical mechanism the window closed position. After that you can open and close windows with single press and central lock remote.

This just actually popped up in my feed. My rear window driver seat controls didn't work so I decided to give this a try and amazingly it fixed it, all windows work now from every button! Thank you!
Have a '16 Mazda 6 and just pulled the driver door apart because something in the door was rattling with the bass. Put the door back together and no automatic window function, only on the driver door. This fixed it flat out. Thank you for the quick fix info!!
This also worked on my 2011 Mazda 3. Every time I unplug the battery this happens and now I know the fix! Thank you!!

Thanks so much for making this something so simple made life easy again (I couldn't open my passenger window from the driver side I had to reach over to open it and your video helped a great deal) didn't have a battery problem or anything it just stop opening no clue why.... thanks again

Sometimes it just happens.
They factory reset my settings at the dealer instead of resetting just the oil, video was a huge help

All windows work like a charm except on the front right side, it work only with the button from the right door. From keyfob works all windows except right front side. What can i do?

Who woulda thought? Had to open up the drivers door on our 2011 Mazda 6. Did not disconnect the battery but had to unplug everything on the door to get the inner panel off. Fixed door lock, reassembled the door but, alas, no more auto window. Figured I had dicked up the end of position sensor or sumpthin'. Your trick worked a treat.Thanks!Cheers!

Thanks this worked for the front doors of my 2007 mazda 6i not the rears but, my rear doors may not have this feature. Thought I needed a 260 dollar master switch

Got a Mazda Atenza 2011, didn't work on mine.

I just dismantled half the car looking for a missing connector (the middle one on the master controller, do you know what that's for? Can't find it...) since I thought that was why I could only control the drivers window... took all fuses out to check for a dead one, that resulted in my engine fault lamp now lighting up! Proceeded to seek more information on the issue, stumbled on your video and the issue was fixed right away 😁👍 guess I'll get back to putting my car back together .... thanks for the video 👌

Hi! Start with checking fuses in your car.
did only work for the driver window (left) on my EU 2002 but response to buttons seems better. thanks
it seams that not all cars have all windows with one press closing feature.
Drivers window would not automatically open and close after power was disconnected. This worked on my 2010 Mazda six.

I think I have the exact same car 2003 Mazda 6 i and the driver window only has auto down, I tried this on all of my windows and this DID NOT WORK.
As with most You Tube repair vids I have to ask what years does this cover????

Maybe you have old battery and each time you start the car voltage drops and resets the door control modules.

Try to press and hold UNLOCK or LOCK button on the remote.

It might be regional law thing. Some USA/Canada cars (Audi, VW i believe) have this option disabled from factory, older ones were "downgraded" when visiting dealers if I remember correctly.

if your car supports that feature, then all you need to do is press and hold lock or unlock button on the remote.

mr-fix I'm having a similar problem. drivers controls don't have lights and won't control any Windows and the driver is stuck up. all 3 other windows work fine but must be controlled by the specific door. any ideas I'm at a loss

wow i got 2005 mazda6 , and only driver window is fully otomatic, other are semi automatic.. i will give it a try maybe it will help :D

+Ahmed Zakaria automatic closing when leaving the car is available only in cars with keyless systems. And not all of them. Even Audi uses buttons on door handles to close the locks. Sorry.
