Great podcast! I really like HAL9000 but I feel like the fact that he likes TLJ explains why his edits aren’t my go to lol. I think he’s totally right about Lucas though, he’s not the DePalma type to see a fanedit and love it so much he makes it a Directors Cut. Seems almost pathologically precious.
Any way l can watch Hal's edits without having to dowmload files? I am computer illiterate and have no space on the hard drive but would love to watch them all...also where can l watch the Phantom edits they mentioned here?
To my knowledge they are not watchable anywhere without downloading files of some kind...they can be burned to a DVD or Bluray but you still need to get the files on your computer to do that. If you're asking if there's a streaming option, I'm almost certain the answer is no, because of the clear copyright violations involved. Same goes for The Phantom Edit, though you may be able to track down a hard copy of that in the wild somewhere. I'll ping Hal and see if he can weigh in...
Great to see and hear Hal getting some love here! Hands down, the most collaborative and friendly faneditor in the community!
Great, thanks for the podcast!

As someone who has just completed their first fanedit, this was great. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed our chat with Hal! What are some of the main changes in your edit?
@@trashcompod I've got a Halloween 5 fanedit on my page!
