Damn, Valve really should makes more games cause we are dying for another one to the point we are making games, your work is been appreciated my dude, good job
@@CodyCantEatThis i think the main reason is valve's employees are not restricted which kindof makes a need to make multiplayer games which make more money in the long end but idk
@@kk5dire and That's what hurts the most, Valve's games has such great unbelievable potential unlike any company to make many memorable popular series from it, and it's just shows how Master Mind Valve really is, but it's really sad to these being forgotten by the developers themselves for so many years
7:57 Good job, you just made Aperture Tag. EDIT: I have now realized that this is one of the few new things he added after recreating Portal 2. I'm starting to think this isn't actually Portal 3.
Story Pitch: After escaping Aperture at the end of Portal 2, Chell learns about the Combine invasion. The tutorial would be a chase sequence with no portal gun, as it wouldn't work without moon dust. Chell has to run away from some Combine, until she eventually makes her way to a new Aperture facility. Once she enters, an AI is notified. (Either GLaDOS or a new AI. Either way, the AI will know about her from the events of the previous 2 games.) When Chell makes it in, so do the Combine, to the AI's chagrin. The AI agrees to help Chell if Chell gets rid of the Combine in the facility. It turns out, this facility is a warehouse for experiments that were scrapped by some safety organization. Chell has to go through the 4 gel tests to get the gel attachment for her gun. Once she grabs it, Combine bust into the room, and Chell has to use portals and the gels to defeat them. The following chambers will feature her using the test environments to defeat Combine, as well as completing the test to advance. The AI will be directing her to the sections of the facility that need to be cleared out, meaning the game can be either linear or have some limited open-world within the facility. The AI discovers that it can only stall the Combine because their computer system is too advanced, but then realizes that a virus could shut their systems down. However, the AI doesn't have a virus powerful enough, and comes to the conclusion that rather than trying to outsmart the Combine, they need to make the Combine so dumb that they become self-destructive. They need a computer program designed to be so stupid, that its presence actively corrupts the intelligence of any other computer program. The only thing that can do that however...is in space. The final level is Chell using the portal gun to defend a space shuttle as it retrieves Wheatley, so the AI can upload Wheatley into the Combine network...maybe say Wheatley drifted into an asteroid or debris field, and Chell needs to first retrieve the space core from the moon or something to fly the shuttle. Once Wheatley is collected, Chell has to bring Wheatley to the main facility to extract his data from the core and upload it. GLaDOS greets them passive-agressively, uploads Wheatley to the Combine network, and the Combine are defeated. Then, we get the final cutscene. GLaDOS: Last time we saw each other, I told you that the best way to go about something is sometimes the easiest. Let me tell you, rebuilding this facility by myself has not been easy. I kept testing, but I realized that there was no goal in mind. The tests became as meaningless as the two bucketheads performing them. Aperture needs direction...I need direction...and so do a lot of people up there. (Things start to seem more active, as the panels, arms, and other machines in the base appear to be preparing something.) GLaDOS: The easiest way going forward seems to be the way that kills three birds with one stone. I need direction, Aperture needs tests, and you need purpose. If I'm being honest for once, you were the best tester this facility ever had. You outsmarted every experiment, even me. So...are you ready for one last test? (The panels reveal a door. As Chell approaches, it slides open. The room within looks like an office. There's a desk with only three things on it. A computer, a portal gun stand, and a nametag which reads C. Johnson, CEO. There's also a companion cube next to the desk. Chell sets the portal gun on the stand, and takes a seat. When she does, confetti bursts from the ceiling, and a pedestal raises up from the floor, revealing a cake.) GLaDOS: Congratulations, Ms. Johnson. Now, where do we begin?
Wow this is really cool! I feel with a few tweaks this could actually make the plot of this game, I also hope he sees this comment. However I feel it's a little bit overwhelming for him to make a story like this, but I'm not sure.
This is actually really good! I love the ending, by the way, I can picture it perfectly in my head and it could work really well. The only issue with this though is the combat, since it wouldn’t really work in a puzzle game, especially Portal. But I gotta say, this is my favourite story pitch for a Portal 3 I’ve seen so far.
@@olimar_09 The other portals had combat, this would work the same way. Just imagine if the turrets could move. The idea I had was that you could coat them in repulsion gel to make them bounce to death, like Cave Johnson talked about, or you could drop them down an infinite tunnel then let them hit something. You just have to think with portals.
At 1:30 the issue of different camera angles based on where the portal was placed could honetsly be fleshed out as its own type of portal game. For example imagine if gravity shifted with the change in camera angle, then not only would you have portal based puzzles but gravity changing ones as well.
Honestly what I think would be an interesting plot would be for Chell to voluntarily return to the facility out of boredom and/or lack of resources at the surface. The first few "levels" would be simply navigating the facility with the aid of the companion cube given to her upon her exit of the facility. At some point Chell locates GLaDOS's lair, and then something happens. EDIT: this has to be the worst writing I've ever done. I'm a writer now and I lead an entire modding studio, and my writing has greatly, GREATLY improved since I posted this.
And GLaDOS short circuits and never boots up again how? water gel that’s what if you’re wondering what is the consistency of water gel it’s just water and clear gelO (the stupid it’s speech to text got it wrong)
@@CodyCantEatThis well you could try instead of calling it portal 3 call it something like "aperture FireWire" or portal: kickstarted so No body takes this as the real portal 3 if valve makes it

Paint gun is featured in Aperture Tag, which replaces the portal gun entirely I believe. It shot the repulsion gel and the speed gel, replacing portals entirely and had unlimited ammo
@@zarrowthehorse that doesn't count, because we aren't talking about the songs, we are talking about games that could be considered sequels, not spin-offs.
@@ahorribleterribleperson no, because my definition of a spin off is a game that has the name of a franchise, but little to none of the mechanics of the original games. Spin offs also have to be official games, so any mods(Like Portal Stories: Mel) can't be considered soon offs.
7:50 as almost all of the concepts of the gels were based on the game "Tag: the Power of Paint", I assume the paint gun was meant to function similar to the the main gun of that game, which just allowed you to spray each type of paint/gel at will.
Yup, right now the prettiest looking Mod, good Soundtracks and nice custom voicelines and a little story. April 19 will also release a new Portal mod which looks also pretty epic.
Plot for Portal 3: Chell, bored from being alone (since humanity ended 50,000 years before then), wants to go back to testing in Aperature. Once she arrives and enters Aperature, GLaDOS greets her, wondering why she came back. After figuring everything out, she makes a deal. Chell will go back in the stasis chamber, only to be woken up to help the facility in a time of peril. 5,000 years later... The Cooperative Testing Initiative has been going great, with GLaDOS being able to keep upgrading the robots used in the tests, along with the Chambers involved. This specific iteration has a green robot with a cube-like core named Terra, and a red rectangular robot named Labes. However, these robots meet a strange robot that looks like a potato on crab legs, named Paver. Paver tells them the truth about the robots, who are brutally disassembled by GLaDOS, and insists on taking over the facility by the fifth track. GLaDOS finds out about this, and awakes Chell hastily. However, quite a bit of the original testing track has been lost to time, as it has not been used since the Cooperative Testing Initiative was implemented. As a result, the first tutorial chamber is a modified version of the Calibration Course. However, by Chapter 3, Chell is too late. Paver takes over the facility, while providing backstory: Paver was a small robot meant to remain a secret. Aperature's CEO, Cave Johnson, did know about his impending death, and decided that his assistant Caroline would be the basis for the GLaDOS Project. However, Cave wanted his brain preserved, so they had his conscience transferred to a small robot in secret. This robot was to never reveal itself to other robots or employees, until sometime in the distant future. The reason Paver wanted to take over the facility was simple: GLaDOS no longer was what Cave envisioned. The moment Caroline was deleted was the moment Paver began to plot to take over the facility, which led to where we are today. GLaDOS and Paver switch consciences, thanks to a new process that was developed in the instance of a shutdown. From then on, your goal is clear: take back the facility. Once that's over, you are sent back to sleep.
@AedanTheAwesome Normals are basically the direction that the faces on the geometry of a 3D object are facing, so even though that portal gun has all of its geometry, some of it might be facing the wrong way, making it appear invisible.
Portal 2 is a game that shouldn’t have a sequel, it would conflict with the story too much. A prequel involving Cave Johnson and Caroline would be good.
I agree but valve could definitely make more games in the portal universe. But they should not be numerical sequels. Imo the numbered portal games are Chell's story and that's already wrapped up in a neat little bow. But valve can continue with named sequels like the mods Portal Stories: Mel or the upcoming Portal Reloaded with a new protagonist
It seems to me that Valve takes great care for their singleplayer titles. I'm sure that they wouldn't be willing to milk the Portal franchise like they're doing with their multiplayer shooters.
Story: Chell found various blueprints and documents that Ratman put in the Companion Cube. Among them she got the information about Borealis's port she previously saw in the old labs. The icebreaker Borealis supposedly teleported somewhere next to [REDACTED] in the Artic. It was enough for her to start the searching. When finally she found it, the ship was already found by someone else. Whoever it was, it left behind some strange alien technology around the place. In the Borealis Chell found various new Aperture Science technology that the world never seen before. Some of them were obviously missing, appearently the previous founder took them. Chell will find out what truly happend in the ship and the Aperture tech finally gonna usefull for something more practical.
I think you could fix the adhesion gel by instead of switching gravity, letting the player climb up the walls. You could also have it so that when cubes are coated in adhesion gel, they can be stuck to the walls, either to attach them to buttons, or to use them as platforms. Another idea I had was reflection gel. Spray it on a thing and you can reflect lasers off of it like a mirror. Perhaps it could even bounce shots from the portal gun around. If you were going to lean into making gels a more central mechanic, it might be good to make the portal gun shoot water by default. As for the story, I think it should follow a new character who awakens in a relaxation vault aboard the Borealis. GLaDOS informs them that she has awakened them so that Aperture can reclaim the ship, but it’s not that easy. Another AI aboard the Borealis has been tasked with protecting the ship and its secrets at any cost. Seeing GLaDOS and the player as a threat, it begins to actively hunt and try to kill them. But being quite familiar with this sort, GLaDOS attaches two cores to them. She can’t corrupt this AI, but she can slow them down. The first core is the Science Core. It forces this new AI to seek new knowledge through experimentation. The second is the Recreation Core. With that attached, the guardian AI could never directly kill the player. However it tried, the player would need a way of winning otherwise it wouldn’t be a real game.
Yeah, treat it more like a ladder/vines on the walls (so the player isn't inverted but can climb). Then boom, no disorientation but still cool wall scaling mechanics
I don't think losing orientation while using the adhesion gel is a bad thing. Many games work exactly with that. It is the fun part, the part that is special. Where you have to begin to develop an orientation system that isn't only wired like we are used to, to a mostly 2D-ground where the gravity pulls you down. I really liked that in Space Engineers, where you can rotate how you want. Disorientation shouldn't be a deal-breaker. It's a clever addition to a puzzle game. One, where you have to rethink your perception.
@@Pyrodiac bruh, it's valve, they dont give two shits. granted, as long as you dont take there assets and use there names, then it's fine. heck, valve allows a fan remake of half life 2 to be SOLD for MONEY on STEAM.
Story Idea : Due to Chell leaving the Facility at the end of Portal 2 and it could focus on a new character who accidentally stumbled upon the old Aperture Science Facility and they need to solve different puzzles to get out with GLaDOS, Atlas, and P-Body's help.
main idea : Shell begins to question life and starts having huge anxiety attacks and PTSD, every time she wakes up its a new world, but when she goes to sleep she has a dream about portal 1 and 2 combined, so it would be cool if like you added both portal 1 and 2 gameplay and like worlds that change for example if you die in the game you wake up and the next time you sleep you get the same level but its different like, a wall wont be there anymore, or a floor will be destroyed, or there wont be acid in a certain spot anymore.
Check “Portal Reloaded”, it lets you crates 3rd portal so you can travel to the future, and it’s a crazy genius mechanic, bring that to Portal 3! And create “present, future and past” that would be mind breaking!
Idea: portal 3 would be a prequel to portal 2, but a sequel to portal 1. you'd play as another character trying to escape as the building falls apart from the loss of GLADoS' control. This would explain why everything is run down in portal 2. 2023 edit: i dont use this account anymore but if i get one more notification saying that i've basically described portal stories mel i'm going to eat frozen lucozade.
Did you forget Portal: Moondust, it's a valve made Portal game which is a prequel to Portal 1 were you collect moonrocks, for the Conversion Gel that kills Cave Johnson.
I don't normally go for the chat bait questions, but I'm pretty interested in this topic. Portal 3 would be about the defunct and failed cave-johnson prototype GlAdos that was scrapped for having a destructive personality. One that's ready to give you some.. lemons..
My idea for the lore is that after going into the outside world Glados goes back to testing, but after a while Chell comes back into to facility to be greeted by Doug Rattman, but the facility (damaged by Wheatly's shenanigans) starts to sink deeper into the salt mine it was biult in. Chell's new goal is to reach the giant tanks of gel in the first few levels of Aperture and use the pumps she activates in portal 2 to push the facility back to the surface.
For the story, there couldn't be much in Aperture Science for Chell. See, Chell had left Aperture and might have become part of Gordon Freeman's resistance (Because Portal and Half-Life are in the same universe.) so I'm guessing Portal 3 would be a prequel revolving around a test subject before Chell who dies at the end. (Kind of like Portal: Prelude but different.)
Plot concept: Caroline is going through her mandatory employee testing while Cave has Important Discussions with people, pieces of which are being played on the speaker system to keep his right hand woman up-to-date. Mostly. Significant details are left out, and it takes Caroline a bit to realize what exactly is going on. Over time, Cave gets sicker and sicker, and his messages become less communicative. About halfway through, Caroline is informed through the speakers that Cave has died, but good news! The new AI transference system has been completed! So, according to Cave's last wishes, they're gonna stick Caroline's brain in a computer as soon as she finishes testing. Caroline DOES NOT want to be put into a computer. She is informed that, due to some super fine print in her contact, she is considered to be property of the company, and thereby subject to the company owner's last will and testament. The second half of the game, per Portal's established pattern, is Caroline trying to escape the facility using her testing gear, while the person on the other end of the speaker initially tries to tell her what an honor it is, how excited she should be, how much this will mean for Science, etc, but gets more and more frustrated and starts threatening that when they do inevitably catch her, they'll take away some of the "perks" if she doesn't just turn herself in. Perks like a body capable of moving around and physically interacting with the world and people in it. During the boss battle, she manages to knock out all the scientists and destroy the prototype computer system they intend to store her in, but accidentally sets of a chain reaction that will lead to an imminent explosion -- and then a little girl wanders in carrying a potato battery. Caroline uses her portal gun to throw the girl to safety, right before the explosion goes off and Caroline is knocked out. Last cutscene is Glados waking up and overhearing someone mention Schrodinger's Cat, the concept that a cat in a box full of neurotoxin can be both alive and dead at the same time if no one looks in on it.
@@jamesmangion6587 duh, its established that chell was at aperture as a kid on "bring your daughter to work day" that potatoe from portal 2 was her science project, thats why the guy was implimenting it into his prequel story and tbh i would absolutely love to play thru that someone has to make a mod rn Btw if any of that is wrong, please excuse that, i havent played or interacted with portal for about 2 years now. Im just getting back into it rn, just have these portal phases from time to time ^^
@And-Nonymous I agree, but I think that because Cave and Caroline couldn’t take care of Chell, with Aperture and all that. They gave her to one of the scientists, specifically Doug Rattman.
story: Chell begins to miss Wheatley, so she storms inside aperture science to find a way to rescue her British friend from space. as soon as she enters, GLaDOS begins testing and roasting Chell. Chell eventually finds a little French core named Stanley, who we learn later was a backup to make GLaDOS stupid in case Wheatley failed. Chell and Stanley go through the test chambers, where GLaDOS deploys her new Adhesion gel, but Stanley also upgrades Chell's portal gun to store the gels. with all these mechanics, Chell and Stanley infiltrate aperture science until they come face to face with GLaDOS. a fight occurs between Chell and P-body and atlas, who GLaDOS used for testing while Chell was gone. once Chell wins, the floor that they were battling in drops as Chell is surrounded by crushers & turrets, as she loses her portal gun. Chell braces for impact as everything is sent her way. however, everything deactivates just as they reach Chell, as GLaDOS still somewhat cares for Chell. GlaDOS makes a hole in the ceiling, revealing the moon. Chell makes a portal there and retrieves Wheatley. Wheatley is happy to see Chell again, but when he sees Stanley, he moans, telling Chell that Stanley is pure evil. while everyone's back was turned, Stanley did a core transfer, as GlaDOS is turned back into a simple core, while Stanley gains control of the facility. the final boss occurs, as once Stanley is defeated and GlaDOS gains control, she burns Stanley in the incinerator. Chell and Wheatley leave aperture science as the game concludes. all in all, I think the story would be weaker than the second one, but that would be made up for in terms of gameplay.
Hey, really enjoyed this video, definitely the best one you've done! Obviously, you won't be able to release this, but I feel as though you now have a great foundation for separating this, creating something more unique. What if you strip out the shooting of portals and really focus in on those shooting liquid and gravity changing mechanics? I feel like that's quite unique and a really great opportunity to create a cool larger in scope project. Regardless, great video :)
Thanks! I put a lot of work into this one, so I'm happy it shows! Honestly that sounds like it would be a fun game to play, but I'm not sure if I'm smart enough to design puzzles around it lol. Level design is absolutely my worst nightmare.
@@thevoid5181 It is, but there are ways to make it less overpowered. For example, if the gel drained as you used it, or (since the grills removing it was already put in by Cody) you can only use it in a single room in a chamber.
In theory, Portal 3 should be on the surface, and with a 100% probability there will be Combines, and of course Gordon, maybe in the 3rd part of Gordon itself there will not be, but there will obviously be Combines, because they are everywhere.
@Xander McKay I'm aware, but if they've got a laboratory that goes deep underground for miles it's not all that strange to think they probably have more than one lab.

I kinda had a similar idea but it fits the whole "Oh, Portal 2 takes place THOUSANDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE thing." Basically, after Chell leaves, the G-Man appears and gives her a new Portal Gun, and sends her back in time to around before Gordon arrives at City 17 and Half-Life 2 begins. Chell meets some resistance members and the game is essentially you going behind the scenes to cause HL2's events, a sort of Tag and Bink scenario.
Actually there is a Lego dimensions Portal 2 dlc and regular story play through, I actually thought it was really fun because you can do things you usually can’t in normal portal games using the keystones you unlock, still gives me classic portal vibes

the story could be combined astronauts find Wheatly and the combine while they already knew that there were dual portal devices somewhere on earth (which is why they kept humanity around instead of killing them all) they didn't know where. now Wheatly told them about aperture and its portal technology. the game could be about the last surviving test subjects that GLaDOS finds in portal co-op have to put aside their differences and team up with GLaDOS to kick the combine out of aperture using turrets and lots of portals. then GLaDOS could give the test subjects dual portal devices and let them leave aperture and go out into the real world in exchange for helping her save aperture. this would allow for a sequel there the test subjects ally with the remaining humans to mass produce the dual portal devices to kick the combine out of earth once and for all. it would be a crazy crossover and have potentiall for some really fun puzzles/ combat!

(Things start to seem more active, as the panels, arms, and other machines in the base appear to be preparing something.)
GLaDOS: The easiest way going forward seems to be the way that kills three birds with one stone.
When she does, confetti bursts from the ceiling, and a pedestal raises up from the floor, revealing a cake.)
GLaDOS: Congratulations, Ms. Johnson. Now, where do we begin?
Hopefully he sees this comment, you might be on to something.

@@RTMecha Who knows, maybe with enough likes and replies he might see it ;)
This is actually really good!

Plot for Portal 3:
Chell, bored from being alone (since humanity ended 50,000 years before then), wants to go back to testing in Aperature.
Paver takes over the facility, while providing backstory:
Paver was a small robot meant to remain a secret.
Sad :(

This is such a cool experiment! Nicely done, this feels like the kind of creativity that must have gone into the mainline Portal games
Reflection gel sounds neat. But it does get concerning if you spray a whole room with it and turn on a laser.
I wish you let people download this, it looks so fun to mess with and to not feels awful

main idea : Shell begins to question life and starts having huge anxiety attacks and PTSD, every time she wakes up its a new world, but when she goes to sleep she has a dream about portal 1 and 2 combined, so it would be cool if like you added both portal 1 and 2 gameplay and like worlds that change for example if you die in the game you wake up and the next time you sleep you get the same level but its different like, a wall wont be there anymore, or a floor will be destroyed, or there wont be acid in a certain spot anymore.

Chell's new goal is to reach the giant tanks of gel in the first few levels of Aperture and use the pumps she activates in portal 2 to push the facility back to the surface.

Interesting.

Gonna be honest. Your implementation of the gel gun is brilliant.
No it's too over powered can't you see
He made it since its easier than what portal did with the pipes
There is a game for this, it was called "Aperture Tag: The Paint Gun Testing Initiative"... its about a dollar USD.
@@thevoid5181 It is, but there are ways to make it less overpowered. For example, if the gel drained as you used it, or (since the grills removing it was already put in by Cody) you can only use it in a single room in a chamber.
@@Lokear yes but his implemention was op and that was what i was commenting on
In theory, Portal 3 should be on the surface, and with a 100% probability there will be Combines, and of course Gordon, maybe in the 3rd part of Gordon itself there will not be, but there will obviously be Combines, because they are everywhere.
Plot: Wheatley finds Apertures space station and has the dumb idea to make a brilliant robot to help him get revenge.
Ah.
Even tho at the end of portal 2 wheatly says he was sorry thats still an awesome idea.
@Xander McKay I'm aware, but if they've got a laboratory that goes deep underground for miles it's not all that strange to think they probably have more than one lab.
have ya seen the ending cinematic where wheatley mentions he'd like to apologize if he could?
Story : after getting out from the Lab,Chell was taken by Gman and Gman offer a job for her just like gordon and also she still have the portal gun and some other various weapons to fight the combine and work together with the Resistance
I kinda had a similar idea but it fits the whole "Oh, Portal 2 takes place THOUSANDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE thing."
Basically, after Chell leaves, the G-Man appears and gives her a new Portal Gun, and sends her back in time to around before Gordon arrives at City 17 and Half-Life 2 begins. Chell meets some resistance members and the game is essentially you going behind the scenes to cause HL2's events, a sort of Tag and Bink scenario.
@@IWannaBeRio Holy shit solving puzzles and fighting enemies at the same time would be cool
The game: literally called "portal"
Cody: l dont think every mecanic should be related to the portals
@And-Nonymous I mean like all they had to do was just add portals without removing the mechanic completely
Actually there is a Lego dimensions Portal 2 dlc and regular story play through, I actually thought it was really fun because you can do things you usually can’t in normal portal games using the keystones you unlock, still gives me classic portal vibes
You're incredibly underrated, I hope you grow my guy.
Thanks!
Portal 3 Story: After going to the surface, Chell has discovered that the surface is actually a hologram, A bird crashes into a screen displaying the sky, And everything collapses, GLADOS says "We are not done yet, we got more to test."

The plot could be Meta one how or why valve isn’t making “game 3”
the story could be combined astronauts find Wheatly and the combine while they already knew that there were dual portal devices somewhere on earth (which is why they kept humanity around instead of killing them all) they didn't know where. now Wheatly told them about aperture and its portal technology. the game could be about the last surviving test subjects that GLaDOS finds in portal co-op have to put aside their differences and team up with GLaDOS to kick the combine out of aperture using turrets and lots of portals. then GLaDOS could give the test subjects dual portal devices and let them leave aperture and go out into the real world in exchange for helping her save aperture. this would allow for a sequel there the test subjects ally with the remaining humans to mass produce the dual portal devices to kick the combine out of earth once and for all. it would be a crazy crossover and have potentiall for some really fun puzzles/ combat!

Theory: This game is a sort of reoccurring nightmare Chell has, while being on the surface.
“The device has been modified so you can now paint the walls with gel
Please don’t get distracted or you will have to join the other test subjects whose 5 year-old instincts kicked in” - GLaDOS probably

man I freakin' love your channel, this took a lot of work and it shows, awesome game dev, awesome video quality, entertaining/informative/humorous and not just another Dani clone. You're channel rocks man, keep it up! (also I'll go ahead and second the "tuts plz" people, but only if you have the time, I don't want to take away from more vids like this!)
Thanks for all the kind words! Tutorials are something that I get requested a lot, but these videos already take me a lot of time to make, and I'm not sure if I'd be the best teacher. Although I did have an idea before about doing a livestream where we all try to make a game together. We can all come up with ideas and then work together to try and make the game at the same time. I'm holding off on this for now though until I feel a bit more confident about doing it lol
@@CodyCantEatThis that’s actually a pretty cool idea!
Yeah I think it would be a lot of fun, but I'm holding off on it because I want to be able to do it with a lot of people. I think I'd be too nervous trying to stream to only a handful of people
Hey Cody, i have a question for you, how long have you been learning unity, and who inspired you to start learning ito to make your own game? Love your vids, #WayTo2Million
I started learning unity about 1.5 years ago. For me no one in particular really inspired me to start making games, I just wanted to try something new by applying the programming I had already been learning, but watching Dani's videos inspired me to try making TH-cam videos as well

Portal Stories: Mel: Am i a joke to you?
Portal reloaded:
Neither Portal Stories Mel nor Portal Reloaded were official.
story line (more like ideas): as we know after portal 2 ended, glados became good. so i thought of this.
it starts like any other portal game, after a few easy tests you get the portal gun, then the other modifier with the gel
main story idea:the main character is trying to escape but glados dosent want that so she tries to stop us
ending:the main character shuts down glafos for good and then activates auto distruct from the manual control room and then you have 5 minutes to get out before the facility explodes
4:07 Hello There
*Turret: so anyway, i started blasting*
1:10
That is actually how they solved that problem in the first game.
3:57 I think you need to make it fire just a few more bullets, just in case.
I think p0rtal 3 would take place before the events of the first two games, during the time when aperture labs were running at maximum efficiency, you could play as a test subject experimenting with the cores and the unimplemented stuff from the first two games. During your time you could see the rise and fall of Glados and her backstory. At the end perhaps it could be revealed that it was all chell telling the story of where the hell she came from once she refinds society, maybe it could be the cores in space, debating and making stories.
Damn I need to write a p0rtal game
