In australia kriega is about 1/3 less money. and you can use the kriega base with 20 dollar ebay drybags.its more versatile. but i do like the simplicity of the giant loop, giant loop coyote costs around 635 USD in Australia. which is crazy...
No back country travel in Manitoba due to drought….and smoke here is bad. I can’t believe you are able to do these marvellous trips and have air you can breath and see through. Hopefully things are better come September
I always enjoy your videos and this is no exception thanks for sharing it and I look forward to your next one and who knows maybe we'll meet one day and be able to ride our bikes with your yours but I think I will take my TW not my cb500 X which is Rally Raided but. Thank for sharing
Subscribed. Great video. I heard you say in the beginning you went up two shock spring levels due to the weight you plan on carrying. Any changes to the fork springs?
Yes, but I don't know the details. Ian from Riders Edge Suspension completely overhauled our forks, and they are awesome, but we did not ask questions.
Always enjoy watching your videos!!! Really hoping to make the adv bike gathering this year. Looking forward as well to this adventure bike app.... just when i thought I was out of things I could get for the bike/camping/adventuring.... thanks!! Lol 😂
Giant Loop for sure. My Kriega stuff is in a pile of stuff to sell. I also have a warranty claim with them that they ended up forgetting about. No impressed. The new question is Giant Loop vs. Mosko. These are two top tier luggage providers, and they are are VERY different. More to come soon I think.
@@benleblanc3618 we have even more Mosko stuff now. No more Kriega as they ended up dropping the ball on a warranty claim that they previously approved. With that said, I bought some Mosko stuff, then sold it late in the season because it was not for me. Everything comes down to philosophy of use. Don't let anybody tell you what is best unless you completely understand how you plan to use it, and they do too.
When you see more roads in the mountains that equals more environmental destruction. More logging equals less moisture retention and more errosion in the water sheds and higher temps which makes forest fires more likely. Ride safely 👍👍👍
Understood and agreed. I am a conflicted man. I do, however, a fair bit to more than offset my impact, and the impact of every person who used our DATS software. We've been donating 1% of our gross to the environment for several years. As it happens, we may be changing the recipients of these funds to www.climateneutral.org/. At the very least, it is good to get people talking about stuff like this, even when thinking about dirt biking and stuff. Any wisdom to share?
@@DirtChimps No wisdom here unfortunately. We have to stop cutting down so many trees but the real problem is there are just too many people on this planet. Sustainability hasn't existed for decades on almost any level except maybe free range cattle. Everything else is just resource extraction. Love your vids👍

We are way over in Vernon British Columbia! :)

I noticed Andrew missed one rock on that chunky part of the trail. Was that on purpose, just to prove you could, or was that unintentional?
So which do you like better, the Giant Loop or the Kriega?

I don't think I skipped a part were you guys talk about mosko vs giant loop, in the market to change my bags....

So what’s wrong with Mosko. I have a small Honda 300L and can’t figure out what to get :(
@@TheZakkmylde Nothing. Actually, we run mostly Mosko and Giant Loop now. ;)
