@OscarsTechTalk that's cool.. I mean also if I buy a tv 2000 or 5000 I want it to function without buying aftermarket stuff.. I mean it's good to have options but it shouldn't have as much lag as I experienced
@steveyboy8011 Yes, I get it.I figured the TV was 5 grand, originally I paid 2000, i mean I wasn't expecting it to be like a sony. But I have to admit, I do enjoy watching it and prefer watching it over my 77 sony oled television in the bedroom.
@OscarsTechTalk yeah I get it 77 vs 100 is very immersive experience.. but for me.. just me.. I couldn't justify the quality , processing power, picture quality 85 inch size for 2 grand to the 100 inch less quality.. only thing I was happy about was the size😭.. now maybe in 3 years the 100 will be a little cheaper on the samsung or sonys .. I take the plunge then😁

I will definitely pick it up for my game room/Man cave as it is a nice price. But I will agree to disagree that my main TV for Movie viewing and sports is my 85 inch Sony Z9K. Did a side by side but when it comes to accuracy and just HDR punch and wow factor the Sony Z9K is just on a whole different level and despite the Hisense holding it’s own the Z9K is just spectacular in the HDR accuracy and punch without going “vivid”. Yes the Z9K cost thousands of dollars and is strictly a “luxury” item and doesn’t have 5G better Picture Quality but it’s just on a whole another level in terms of Picture Quality and accuracy especially it being close to the filmmakers mastering monitor. but this is no knock on the Hisense 100 inch TV as it is a great TV for the money and is definitely a must buy for me and great tv review keep it up.👍

The picture is nice, but I can see reflections on the screen, which you wouldn't get from a projector. Also, I wouldn't want to deal with trying to carry and mount a 150-pound television. I have a 75" TV that weighs 65 pounds, and that's about as much weight as I want to put on my wall. Additionally, I have a LED projector in my bedroom set up to project onto a 92" diagonal fixed-mounted screen, and the picture is awesome. I could have gone up to 200" if I had the wall space, which I don't. There are no reflections, and I love watching anything from sports to local news on it. The projector came with Google TV, and I use a Roku stick, which provides much better and faster responses from the different apps. Plus, it has apps that are not available on Google TV.
@Raygreen5203 i was able to wall mount it with my son with literally no issues. As far as reflection, i haven't had an issue with that either. I had an epson 4k projector and 120-inch elote grayscale screen, and this tv is leaps and bounds ahead of the projector. Thank you for commenting.

A lot of times the lower priced TVs have disappointing black levels. Especially getting what I call the pixelated looking blacks and dark greys in dark scenes. Was there any of that with this model?
@dwaynefunderburk351 negative. Again, it's surprisingly good with deep blacks. The dimming zones are pretty good at handling dark areas on the screen. It's no OLED, but it's bad.
@dwaynefunderburk351 No, unfortunately, the local bestbuy doesn't have TCL or Hisense 100-inch tvs on display. They have the LG and Samsung ones. Which i believe are less impressive for the price.

Also make sure you take a look at the first video that I did on boxing the actual television. It has really good info regarding dimensions and actual specs.
Did you mount the TV? My TV stand is 79 inches which is 10 inches less than the 88 inches width of the TV, would that be weird to set the larger TV on top? It's hard to find a TV console that wide.
@Diana-mh4sr this is the one i used to mount. It can handle the weight. Mounting Dream Fixed TV Wall Mount, Low Profile Wall Mount TV Bracket for Most 42-90 Inch TVs, Flush TV Mount for Space Saving, Fits 16", 18‘', 24", 32" Studs, Max VESA 800x400mm and 132lbs MD2361-32
I have a 5 year old 70" vizio that is starting to get an ugly growing 8 inch black blob on the lowest part of the screen say 2/3's from the left. It is more noticeable than in the past and is growing now in the last 3 months. I might try the Hisense 100 inch I found at Costco $1799 but I wonder about the viewing distance. Right now I have exactly 8.5 feet to my Vizio 70 inch and have no strain at all. Would I with this 100Inch from Hisense?
@imnofool2u942 im at 10.5 /11 feet. I have no issues. I believe the Hisense at costco is a different model from the u76n. Research and compare the specs before purchasing.

I can tell you something for sure , people that own or thinking on buy a Ultra Short laser projector with a 100 Inches ALR projector screen will Definity will look as a first option this TV regarding picture quality , contrast and Brightness that any laser projector with the most expensive ALR ambient Light rejecting screen can provide right now
Projectors will not match the brightness and black levels of a QLED TV unless you want to spend ten thousands more! I own a $3000 (BenQ) and it will never look like an LED panel! They (projectors) are good for larger than 100-110 inch screens and if you want 3D capability.
The picture quality on this TV when you get it home, is like half 3-D. Which means in about two or three years from now. They’re gonna be selling glasses free 3-D TVs. That doesn’t mean you get the glasses free. That means you don’t need any glasses anymore.
This is just too confusing. I’m not sure what to buy and I can’t seem to find a straight forward video on U8k vs U76N. Also is the U76N just a U7? The model numbers are so weird. I never know what’s what. Any help would be appreciated!
I believe the u8k is a miniled tv. The u76n is not, but it's QLED. They both have local dimming with helps with deeper blacks. Obviously, the u8k has alorlt more dimming zones. You wil also be paying more for the u8k. The model numbers are just that. Hisense has MINELED U6N, U7N and U8N. The U76n N is QLED. Hope this helps.
How the hell did you get it up to the second floor. My boys had some trouble with my Neo qled 98" Samsung, and I placed it in my lounge on the first floor 🤷🏾♂️
@@OscarsTechTalk The you kind sir for your reply with the information… So I’m going to upgrade to the the Hisense 100” MINI LED near to the end of the year and I will pass my 85 inch Samsung onto my son. 🏴🇬🇧
@sector7676 i went with the u76n due to its price of 2k when it was released in February. I know the u8k is better on paper, but i can't justify spending another 3k for mini LED and more dimming zones. Im really happy with my purchase. I also have 3 Sony OLEDS, including a 77 A80L in my bedroom, and i prefer watching my hisense due to its immersiveness. No, the blacks are not as deep as the OLED, but it's close, really close.
@@OscarsTechTalk hey thanks for your reply! I've still got to think about it. Currently the 100" U8K is $2999 and u76 is 2299 on Amazon, so not too big of a difference in price...
@sector7676 That's a tough decision. The u8k was a lot more than $2999 when i purchased the u76n. I did watch a review video on the u8k/ux, which said that it kept dropping connection. If I come across it again, i will message you the link.
When 110-INCH 4K TV reduce price like 2,500 to 3,000 dollars projector manufacturers will have a big Headache. I have the Dangbei Mars Pro 4k Laser projector on 135-inch and look amazing but when I switch to my Sony 4k 85 inches tv for regular content view the TV overpass on picture quality my laser projector
I sit 10 feet directly in front of it, so there are no issues with angles. Now, if you're going to have people at a 90-degree angle or more, then yes, you will lose some picture quality. I've had company over which sat at an angle and received no complaints. It's no OLED but at this size and price. it's still a great option for a home theater. I currently have a 77 Sony OLED in my bedroom, and I'm finding myself watching more tv on the hisense. Thanks again for watching, and please don't forget to like and subscribe.
I just got the costco one (U70N but i think its the same as the u76n but with warranty), honestly I love me an OLED / Mini LED but I'm completely happy with the price to performance. It's completely subjective but unless your specifically looking for nitpicks, it looks amazing. No complaints
@@Heal_Law different specs. You'll have to decide if more dimming zones and mini led is worth the $1200. I haven't seen 100 inch u8n in person so i cant say for certain.
Thx for the replies. I'm in USA and only u8k is available, not u8n. Have anyone seen both u76n and u8k? I know it's diffrent panel with more dimming and nits but I don't think it wouldn't be much diffrent in dimming and nit wise as long as room is not too bright. @@OscarsTechTalk ok thanks. Even though 5k is still cheap for a 144hz tv. It is probably because it is made in china with cheap labor. And it isn’t a big name brand in America yet.
@evocativ could be. I also think hisense wants to get the jump on very large tv sales in the us for a much more affordable price.
I currently have a 86" samsung qled..the difference between the 86 and 100 is it a huge difference?.I sit about 11' back
@raymondtrudeau7707 14 inches is a difference. As far as distance, I'm at 10m5 to 11, and I'm far enough.
Enjoy your monster size big ass TV😊

Question 🙋♂️ is the US76N 100” QLED? better than the Hisense 100” Mini LED?v🏴🇬🇧
@@melraine919 QLED LOCAL DIMMING. The mini led has more dimming zones and other features.
@@OscarsTechTalk The you kind sir for your reply with the information…
So I’m going to upgrade to the the Hisense 100” MINI LED near to the end of the year and I will pass my 85 inch Samsung onto my son. 🏴🇬🇧
Any thoughts on the u76 vs Hisense u8k 100"? I'm trying to decide between those two...
@@OscarsTechTalk I wish the u76 had been reviewed by rtings so I could compare their scores. Hey do you know is the u76n basically the U7n?

When 110-INCH 4K TV reduce price like 2,500 to 3,000 dollars projector manufacturers will have a big Headache. I have the Dangbei Mars Pro 4k Laser projector on 135-inch and look amazing but when I switch to my Sony 4k 85 inches tv for regular content view the TV overpass on picture quality my laser projector

How are the viewing angles??? I read a lot of reviews saying that are horrible when you are not sitting right center of the screen.
@@OscarsTechTalk so I think I’m saving for a 83” Oled
I can decide if I should get u8k or u76n... u8k is $3000 u76n is $1800. Does it worth $1,200 more? Any recommandation?
I'm just not sure how better picture is mini led vs this.. :/
100” is basically dead for front projection vs this

Nice review bud, blacks aren't that good (exaggerated due to the big size), but still very good TV for that holy Trinity most of us looking for (Picture Quality, size, Price ratio)

@@OscarsTechTalk Does 1080p looks blurry from such distanse? Huge screen from 9 feet
@user-oq4rm5ci9p no. Again, some 1080p content looks 1080p, but a lot of the content is upscaled. I watch some news content on TH-cam, and it looks better than 1080p.

Why is the tv so cheap though???
@evocativ MSRP is 5k. I know they were on sale in February when i purchased it.may be they dropped the price due to TLC's pricing. Also, releasing a 98 inch u8k for around 3k.
I have 3 Sony Oleds A80J 55, A80k 65, and A80L 77, and I paid less for a tv that I enjoy more with the hisense. Unless you're a videophile or have OCD, you'll be satisfied with the Hisense.
