Many people seem to misunderstand Samsung's imitation. At the beginning of smartphones, Samsung clearly seemed to have copied Steve Jobs' Apple products (Because all the companies that didn't do that have disappeared) but after Steve Jobs, there was no value in imitating, so they started creating foldable and buttonless designs. I think this is going the other way.
I think this is because apple is established as the head/default flagship brand. Sure, by total volume of sells, Samsung might lead but its only because they make hundreds of model each year. Every brand, to show themselves as the better or the superior product always tries to compare themselves with apple in some sort of way. They follow apple like vultures follows predators and dying preys. They either mock apple, show themselves as superior (which they very well might be),or just follow industry trends set by them ever after they mock the exact same trend. Compared to that apple refuses to acknowledge any other companies existence and literally just compares themselves with their own products from the last year lmfao. Probably because,they also know about the industry dynamic.

Idk, why can’t people buy both… I have iPad and tab 7.. I have s21 and iPhone 12 pro. Being a fanboy feels like you are too poor to throw some money away to get these tools. I switch my primary every 6 months or so just so I don’t get bored. I use google apps so have no problem with data being stuck. If you have money, just buy both and enjoy.. it’s just few thousand dollars.
