theres a method in pocket edition that makes the dungeon guardian a cake walk and all you need is a crap ton of coins, patience and for it to be February. the merchant sells heart arrows, heart arrows stun enemies including the dungeon guardian. it'll take a while but will work. but i suppose most dungeon guardian kills take a while so...
I just want to bring up the fact that the damage nebulas obtained from the nebula armor set increase damage by 45% this may mean that the DG can be killed in 4 tick on expert mode using this method, This can also be done in singleplayer by constantly switching between nebula and the super high damage armor
Kr33p3rK1ll3r i never said that it would work, i aaid that it might work because of the boost in damage. Also, as mappy said in the vid, lightning aura sentries peirce through armor, so the DG's armor is negated
I might get a lot of hate (or get crucified by Yrimir fanboys and fangirls) for saying this, but remember, I'm just saying my opinion. So please, respect it. Personally, I like Mappy more than Yrimir. It's mostly because Mappy is a freakin' genius when it comes to gadgets and wiring in Terraria. He shows that there are so many other creative ways to kill enemies and bosses without the use of a bow or sword. Back then, I liked Yrimir. But because of his 2 year decline, I found Mappy, and he made my jaw and eyeballs drop down to the floor. After Yrimir came back, I somehow wasn't too excited about it and I don't know why. Sure Yrimir can fight all bosses at once, but now every Terraria player is doing it and it's not really exciting anymore. But Mappy, he's can just stand in one place while all the bosses charge at his insane contraptions. Mappy, you're one hell of a genius when it comes to wiring, you're an awesome dude.
I know this was done many years ago, but I just want to say, you have the patience, the talent and dedication to even pull stuff like this off. And that to me is impressive in many aspects. I am no expert in the art of wiring, the setup, and other complicated math involved, but me and my simple brain is no match for your superior big brain. I am well aware this has been long patched as of writing this, but if I ever had a chance back then, I'm sure even I could do it. But I didn't have the time nor dedication. So I and we leave that stuff to the truly dedicated like yourself. This is a memory to behold. Seriously. I look forward to seeing more of your brilliant big brain stuff as time goes.
Adam Jeremie I'm pretty sure that the inv. frames on the LP last longer than the firing speed of a chain gun. Not to mention that using crystal bullets makes extra projectiles that also hit in addition to the bullets themselves. That would be why...

I just want to bring up the fact that the damage nebulas obtained from the nebula armor set increase damage by 45% this may mean that the DG can be killed in 4 tick on expert mode using this method,
This can also be done in singleplayer by constantly switching between nebula and the super high damage armor

I might get a lot of hate (or get crucified by Yrimir fanboys and fangirls) for saying this, but remember, I'm just saying my opinion. So please, respect it.
Personally, I like Mappy more than Yrimir. It's mostly because Mappy is a freakin' genius when it comes to gadgets and wiring in Terraria. He shows that there are so many other creative ways to kill enemies and bosses without the use of a bow or sword. Back then, I liked Yrimir. But because of his 2 year decline, I found Mappy, and he made my jaw and eyeballs drop down to the floor. After Yrimir came back, I somehow wasn't too excited about it and I don't know why. Sure Yrimir can fight all bosses at once, but now every Terraria player is doing it and it's not really exciting anymore. But Mappy, he's can just stand in one place while all the bosses charge at his insane contraptions. Mappy, you're one hell of a genius when it comes to wiring, you're an awesome dude.

I know this was done many years ago, but I just want to say, you have the patience, the talent and dedication to even pull stuff like this off. And that to me is impressive in many aspects. I am no expert in the art of wiring, the setup, and other complicated math involved, but me and my simple brain is no match for your superior big brain. I am well aware this has been long patched as of writing this, but if I ever had a chance back then, I'm sure even I could do it. But I didn't have the time nor dedication.
