5:59 the hellwing bow has a special attribute. You know how when a projectile pierces an enemy, the next enemy in line will take less damage, and so on? The hellwing bow just kind of doesn’t do that. It’s a piercing weapon with zero damage dropoff. Every worm enemy should be thanking the high heavens that it’s so inaccurate.
I had no idea it was so good!

The 1/80,000 Uzi drop rate was a bug, which was patched to 1/200. It was then increased to 1/100 in 1.3.0.1, which it remains at to this day

Hearing eminem during the EoL fight makes this probably one of the best challenge runs

Challenge: battle all bosses in their enraged/daytime state.
skeletron eol duke fishron outside of ocean plantera outside of underground jungle
@@jeremypanjaitan4039 also has to kill the mechs, EoC, and (if fought) Moon event bosses during the day even if most of the fight is during the night. Fight them as they flee basically.
skeletron would be basically dungeon guardian with hands

Also, maybe an interesting challenge could be a "No Weapons, Just Equipment" run mainly because I love accessories that attack enemies, in both vanilla and modded, so I'm kinda curious about what the highest amount of damage you can deal with just accessories.
Sorbet Cafe did something along those lines

The movement issue in early to mid Hardmode could have been solved by purchasing a jetpack from the steampunker.

For anyone wanting to do this challenge, you can also obtain the gladiator set as a substitute for the ancient shadow set

This was really cool to watch!
A challenge run i always like to see is the Fisher.
1. You're allowed to craft needed items to progress (accessories , tools)
2. You're only allowed to use weapons you fish up or are nautically themed , ore you get from crates are fair game, but you can't mine.
3. You have to craft / get every fishing rod and display them
4. Complete the Angler quests , you are allowed to use Angler items.
5. Craft the Shellphone
6. Get all of Duke Fishron's drops.
7. Defeat Moon Lord.
I also like Engineer
1. can only use tools, explosives, sentries, and traps to do damage.
so your base is a bunch of traps and like a huge farm to deal with enemies. bosses are lead into elaborate trap set ups

Idk if I’m being slow and granted I haven’t seen the full video yet but aren’t some of the tavernkeep armors really good and don’t require any crafting
They are decent armors, but they are fairly out of the way. Plus fighting the old ones army with such weak gear is not desirable

Some things like not getting fishron or empress wings + insignia perplex me about this run. It would have made avoiding all the bosses so much easier.

ive played far too much modded terraria i forgot just how slow the eol is in vanilla
Crabbar did a challange just like this, but he also couldnt use npcs

No leaf wings, eh? Guess not a big deal if you use a mount, but you had Tiki armor so you had witch doctor. The final tier of old one's armor sets are actually pretty sweet options too.
I just decided to ignore wings and rely on the wolf mount to have good horizontal and vertical without any accessory slots used up to compensate for worse damage
Counter argument to queen slime being the worst: Plantera
She is the only boss without a item or guaranteed way to spawn her
Also because she’s an rng spawn so it’s a pain to build an arena

Kind of odd to complain about Queen Slime's place in progression when she's an optional boss you can fight at any time. You can just get wings and Hardmode weapons before you fight her, it's not difficult. Her stuff is good against the mechanical bosses (Blade Staff my beloved), so you can just treat her as prep for that rather than something you do right out the gate.
6:42 at this point just use cheet sheet and give yourself 9999 platinium
and doing it all on master mode, this guys a mad man (serious respect tho)

7:30 unironically, queen slime became a better and more fun bossfight for me after realizing how forgiving the bullet hell is compared to bosses in mods like calamity

7:21 I mean realistically don't most people instantly get wings once they enter hardmode? Just go up, kill harpies and 2 wyvern and bam, angel wings done.
As for getting wings, you can technically get them by farming for dev sets in this challenge.

you should absolutely do a fishing playthrough. also, i know its a lot of work, but don't cut out sections (or if you do, dont make it as obvious, or find brief clips from that section tat are beneficial). i loved this video though. genuinely one of the funniest vids ive seen in a while, you're sense of humor is unmatched in my eyes.

you are absolutely correct about the queen slime take imo. spawning a billion monsters that shoot a billion projectiles that are small and can easily blend in with the background and do a huge chunk of your health is not fun to play against at all. it especially sucks that one of the drops is a really good summon weapon, as most of the common summons for the stage of the game where you fight her are terrible at dealing with flying enemies (aka the entire boss fight in phase 2) unless you go out of your way to fight the dreadnautilis before you probably should.

15:20 how did you use the Rod of Discord multiple times even if you had the Chaos State debuff?
It still lets you use it but takes about 30% off of your health, which is completely irrelevant when the boss one shots you.

I occasionally use the Lilith's Necklace before getting the fishron mount but seeing it be on my screen for so long is kinda funny, just this feral wolf destroying all these bosses
Here is an idea try beating every main boss with a different type of weapon like one with spears another with staves another with repeaters et cetra

IMHO Queen slime is an okay boss. Drops are mostly useless unless you can't afford a slot for wings or you are playing summoner. The projectile spam is easily ignored with some defense, although still annoying.

For wings, you could’ve gotten leaf wings from the witch doctor after beating plantera. I know post-plantera is pretty late into hardmode, but it still could’ve helped.

Terraria as played by a slightly more reasonable skillset. The player is no longer a master carpenter, artificer, weaponsmith, and general textile expert. Now he just a standard ol god killer.

Uhhh ever since the changes post 1.4 the fledgling wings now are a one in 40 chance in sky chests and crates. Have fun fishing for those.
I tried to get the full set of crystal assassin armor in my recent playthrough... I fight queen slime SIX TIMES. ONLY THEN I GOT THE CHESTPIECE FINALLY
