Thanks, Pres -- yes, Brian wrote the song.. and when he starts on keyboard, it's cool.. if you look closely, you can see that he's actually playing with his guitar IN HIS LAP.. when Freddie turns away from vocals, tosses the mic and sits at the piano, Brian is already on the other side of the stage, killing the guitar solo.. this is just.. a band. lol
I love Queen. A fan since the early ‘70’s. LOVE their music. In addition to loving this song, this performance, to me, is maybe the sexiest Queen performance of them all. Granted, you don’t see much of Roger and John. So maybe I am reacting to Brian and Freddie. Either way, they are just so sexy in this video! Sexy isn’t usually what I think about when I watch their videos. I concentrate mostly on the music. In this one, both Freddie and Brian show us how versatile they are and how they can work a live stage in ways that most musicians can only dream of. Did you notice that Brian’s guitar is on his lap while he’s playing the piano? And Freddie shows us his command of his vocal instrument and gives us an understated yet very powerful performance-imbuing his voice with so much on-point emotion that you can’t help but get caught up in the lyrics. Just love it!
Hi Pat I attended many Queen concerts in the 70s and 80s they were absolutely amazing live, no auto tune in them days just pure genius and talent, all the band have written hits and have a vast catalog of songs, Queens greatest hits is still the best selling album in 🇬🇧 Uk , Freddie always had the crowd in the palm of his hand with his flamboyant performances!
You said it ... twice! "A band like no other" ... and ... "They are Legends for a Reason". So very well said - "The greatest of all time" [we SO agree on that].
Thank you for noticing Freddie's breath control as he ran down the stairs!!! So few people (no-one really) makes a note of that. As a singer myself, that always strikes a chord with me. Great reation!!
Look for a documentary video that shows Queen perfecting the song One Vision. You will get a new insight as to why they were so great. Every single note and every member of the band worked together to make it as perfect as they could. That's the approach they used for every song and every performance. They always gave their audience the best. They were the best at live aid because they didn't leave one single second of their performance to chance.
Freddie’s vocals are laser focused .. even when he trots down some steps on the stage!! Also amazing is Brian on piano, his guitar on his back, and then transitions from piano to guitar solo like a “dragon on his back”. Of course, Freddie glides his way back to the piano seamlessly!! Amazing!! 🎹🎼🎸🎼
I love how much you appreciate Queen and all their amazing talents, they are in essence the perfect band. Yes Freddie was and still is the best singer of all time, there is something about his voice and the way he sings every note with color and emotion, it just captures your heart and soul. I know you have listened to You Take My Breath Away live please listen to the official video, you want to talk about a voice of an angel. I love your channel thank you for respecting and loving this band. ❤️❤️
This is a beautiful version of this song ,so nice to see Brian playing the piano an then leave an go play his red Special there are no bad Queen Songs love ur love an respect for Queen 👑💯🌠🍀💛🤩🤭🐈🐲✨✌️
Loved your reaction! Queen, the greatest band that ever was or ever will be! More live performances from Queen please, kind regards from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you Pat, as usual a brilliant reaction...you could give master classes to people with TH-cam channels on how to do a proper reaction...could you possibly do some reactions to the Milton Keynes concert? ...like all of Queen’s work it is outstanding🤩
Pat, I love your reactions; you're such a music lover - you are absolutely charming! Thank you for your honesty and enthusiasm. I find it so amazing Queen comes together with such soul and beauty and manages to make it look so natural and easy. Fun to watch!! Thank you, Anne
These 2 Montreal shows are the last (except in South America) that it was just the 4 of them. They hired a keyboard player for their tours after this so Freddie wouldn't be so tied to the piano & he could play piano when he wanted & play with the crowd the rest of the time. The 1st guy they hired lasted 1 tour & got another gig. After that they hired Spike Edny, who played the rest of the Queen tours (he also played rhythm guitar on some songs too). Spike still plays the Queen tours now. In fact he was one of the 1st to contact Roger to tell him about Adam Lambert after he saw him on American Idol and suggest him for their new front man. He apparently was right on spot since Adam has been singing with Roger & Brian for 10 years now.
Another great reaction for the greatest band & singer of all-time 🔥🔥live or studio !! Keep Queen rollin on the channel. Plus for reactors you have about the best reactions
Love, love this song. It’s my very favorite from Queen. Did you notice Brian’s guitar on his lap while he was playing the piano? Also, Freddie’s control trotting down the stairs. Wow! Great reaction!
Beautiful 🔥 Thankyou dear for your love for Queen, and it’s a joy to see a Queen reaction by you along the way. I love the fact you don’t forget Queen’s legacy or the Queen fam. And this song and vid are amazing, chills all over the place. Much love and bless to you and keep up the good work darling! ❤️
PAT, THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT REACTION TO FREDDIE & QUEEN.... I ALWAYS look forward to your reactions, you notice/mention so many details and have such insightful things to say!
I enjoyed your reaction to this song. Really love how you appreciate each member of the band. John is my favorite queen member. He was also very talented, he plays lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and piano. He was very depreciating about his voice, and never sang unless it was in the chorus with the other guys. He wrote their biggest hit, Another One Bites The Dust. John was also the reason I started learning bass guitar. He once said, "I bought the whole guitar, I'm gonna play the whole guitar."
They never disappoint. John's bass playing is impeccable. Brian play piano beautifully. Roger solid as always on drums and vocals. And Freddie killing the vocals as usual.
Hi Pat, firstly I love your reactions...Freddie puts his heart and soul into his singing so a lot of people are inclined to think that lyrics are about him..Yes, Brian did write this..it’s about his friend’s marriage breaking up... in an interview Freddie talked about organizing the lighting for each and every song...you have to react to the short documentary of The making of “We are the Champions” enjoy your Queen journey..there’s a lot more brilliant performances for you to see🤩
I always liked hearing your input & I don’t remember if you ever checked out the Official video of Friends Will Be Friends, but it’s another great one.
I love this song written by Brian and a few of his friends for another friend who was going through a really difficult divorce. It has been a minute since I caught one of your reactions so thank you for this one. I have missed you. Yesterday I watched a new reactor who had never heard of Queen before and didn't believe he had ever heard any of their music. He is fairly aware of music, just not rock, apparently. As soon as Freddie sang two words, he stopped the video and said, " I know that voice, that is Freddie Mercury, I love his voice, there is no other singer like him, on and on about how unique Freddie's voice was, then he said so I know that voice but what band did he sing with, what was his band. Tell me in the comment's section. I was amused and happy to tell him that Queen was Freddie's band for 20 years that he was 1/4 of the quartet that was Queen and that Freddie was with Queen until his death.
Great reaction! Always enjoy your reactions! I see you have a great admiration for Freddie and the rest of the guys. You're right they're the best of the best. And it's true when you know what they went through especially Freddie you can't help but admire them even more.
I love all of your reactions!! I never get tired of them performing live, what an amazing band! And what can I say about Freddie... There will never be another one like him ❤️❤️❤️
Brian admitted (I believe after Freddie’s death) that he wrote this song about Freddie’s breakup with Joe Fanelli. It was very hard on Freddie but Joe remained a close friend and was by Freddie’s side when he passed.
Love your reactions so much Patrick. The best on You Tube by far in my humble opinion. Always making me smile. Cannot wait to see you react to Dragon Attack from the same 81 gig, if we are lucky enough. Keep it up buudy!!
React to queen soul brother track. Freddie wrote this song for Brian may when he was feeling down. Freddie references 7 queen songs in this song. We truly miss you Freddie
Great reaction, as always! I suggest you check out It's A Hard Life from Queen, I think you would enjoy it. There is a nice live version as well, It's A Hard Life - live at Rio 1985.
Another track for Highlander from what I remember, written by Dr Brian May (Astrophysicist) went back and finished his degree in the early 00's I remember Roger Taylor taking the lead on Modern Times Rock and Roll ( long time since I've heard it, so title might be slightly different) only one who you won't hear take the lead is John Deacon he could sing, but didn't like hearing his own voice, and didn't want to take lead Guitar on one of the songs he wrote, can't remember which one, he was very happier in the background, one of his sons has now taken up the Guitar he's got six children and still living in the same house he bought when they started making money in the group, after one manager ripped them off ( Death On Two Legs song about said management)
Realize, this is more than 40 years ago.... Music of Queen and Freddie is timeless. ❤
Greetings from Germany.
Thanks, Pres -- yes, Brian wrote the song.. and when he starts on keyboard, it's cool.. if you look closely, you can see that he's actually playing with his guitar IN HIS LAP.. when Freddie turns away from vocals, tosses the mic and sits at the piano, Brian is already on the other side of the stage, killing the guitar solo.. this is just.. a band. lol
Nothing short of magnificent.
True musical geniuses
We truly miss you freddie.
We hear you singing from heaven. You were a gift 🎁 from god.
They are so perfect. They are in perfect sync. It's like they feed off of each other . They are soo tight!
R.i.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU!

Agreed...if people can't see huge talent they're blind

Love this performance...Freddie's vocals are sublime!
I love this version of this song and this performance. Freddie's voice is just fantastic !
Love it so much when Freddie tosses his mic and takes over the piano … 🥰✌🏼
And Ratty was there to catch it.
Notice Brian has his guitar on his lap while he’s playing the piano
Brian's impeccable songwriting, and Freddie always delivers the emotion
A day without hearing Freddie's voice is a day wasted...resubbed btw.... Always loved your Queen reactions, keep it up. ☮

My favorite Queen song and favorite performance! I love what Brian has done with it with his Save Me Trust
My absolute favorite Queen live performance!!!!! Amazing! I heard this before the studio and to me it is so much better, amazing!
I am really enjoying your Queen reactions! You are so right about how great this band is. I love this performance of Save Me.
I appreciate your Queen love. I've loved them since i first heard Killer Queen ,in 1974. It only grows greater over time
Another great reaction for the greatest band & singer of all-time 🔥🔥live or studio !! Keep Queen rollin on the channel. Plus for reactors you have about the best reactions

PAT, THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT REACTION TO FREDDIE & QUEEN....
I ALWAYS look forward to your reactions, you notice/mention so many details and have such insightful things to say!
Freddie's vocals are so unique that if you put several singers together you can pick which one is Freddie
This song was written by Brian, inspired by a friend who was going through a rough breakup.
I recently read that Brian said that friend was Freddie.
I enjoyed your reaction to this song. Really love how you appreciate each member of the band. John is my favorite queen member. You should read the book….Queen Unseen……..brilliant!!🌻🇬🇧🌻
React to queen soul brother track. Freddie wrote this song for Brian may when he was feeling down. Freddie references 7 queen songs in this song.
We truly miss you Freddie
👌👑🌠💫✨
🥰
listen to Adam Lambert/Queen at the Isle of wight singing The Show Must Go ON
You still haven’t done their BEST video…bohemian rhapsody official video…waaay better than live version!
Great reaction, as always! I suggest you check out It's A Hard Life from Queen, I think you would enjoy it. There is a nice live version as well, It's A Hard Life - live at Rio 1985.
Can you please review Queen - No One But You (Only The Good Die Young) (Official Video). God it made me cry. Such a moving tribute to dear Freddie.
I wonder if you'd get around to doing a Colab of Freddie & Michael J...." THERE MUST BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS " Would Love Your Take🤔🥰
Brian wrote this about a friend's marriage breaking up.
please consider listen to Roger Taylor's song "Foreign Sand" Promotional video 1994. It is amazing!
Try 39
Another track for Highlander from what I remember, written by Dr Brian May (Astrophysicist) went back and finished his degree in the early 00's
I remember Roger Taylor taking the lead on Modern Times Rock and Roll ( long time since I've heard it, so title might be slightly different) only one who you won't hear take the lead is John Deacon he could sing, but didn't like hearing his own voice, and didn't want to take lead Guitar on one of the songs he wrote, can't remember which one, he was very happier in the background, one of his sons has now taken up the Guitar he's got six children and still living in the same house he bought when they started making money in the group, after one manager ripped them off ( Death On Two Legs song about said management)
Leider wird John Deacon am Bass, sehr wenig beachtet 😢
Freddie wrote this song straight from his heart. He left her his house and a great deal of his money.
This song was written by Brian, not Freddie!
