Careful… Don’t press it too many times or the pushers will fall off prematurely and not last a five or six months that they’re going to last under normal use… These watches are plastic toys that should have a price point of $89 USD
I hope not, but we will see. I have seen bad feedbacks about them but did not happen so far.
They were given away for free originally with a purchases of a omega watch resellers are the ones hiking the price up they were meant to be novelty pieces
Got my for 16 usd 😅 , chrono works,😊

I own a Chiemsee-Watch which looks very nice and works exactly the same.
How do you enjoy it so far? Never saw one.
@@vintageradar it’s very precise. Lately the big counter does not return to center but get stuck a second before. The catch with this watch is, that it’s stainless steel corpse with saphire-glass and it’s waterproof to 200m. I bought it around 2009 and it still works.

Damn, the Chrono hand doesn't imitate the mechanical sweep like the Seiko Speedtimer does... I was considering getting the Moonswatch for now before actually investing in an actual Speedy...but guess not, I'll just keep wearing my Seiko Speedtimer until I pull the trigger on the Speedy Pro
It is a quartz watch, that is why.
@@vintageradari think the speedtimer model he was talking about is a solar watch and seiko solar watches move smooth as mechanical watches. you know, quartz and solar watches are practically same things when you compare. for example; mechanical watches don’t include any batteries but solar watches have solar batteries that needs to be charged from powerful light sources. so if a solar watch can copy the movement of a mechanical watch, quartz watch can do as well. there was a long while you’re using the watch on video. i’m all ears for your further experiences of usage.
@@sdmobiwan All solar watches I have seen so far have a regular quartz tick (when it comes to seconds hand action). Now, when it comes to Seiko quartz chronograph watches they have a similar sweeping chronograph hand. So yeah, the quality is way above the MoonSwatch.
@@vintageradar i didn’t use any solar watch, only seeing them when i’m looking for new watches. a vendor showed me a Seiko speedtimer and said it is a self-charging solar watch, its movement was looking a lot like mechanical movement. i admit that i’m not big fan of Swatch’s production concept. biggest question on MoonSwatch is the production material called “bioceramic” but also i’m curious about any small chance to Swatch be similar to original Speedmaster moon watch because i didn’t saw it with my own eyes. i have an Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th anniversary limited edition watch already, so i’m not in the market for buying it but i still wonder the watch because of its reachable expense.
@@sdmobiwan The watch you have is a grail 🤩
How exactly it measures and what the readings of the subdials' arrows mean. It needs to be explained.
I have a moonswatch. Does it have swatch pay?
I’ve been searching and I have no answer.
No, it does not.
No swatch pay
Doesn't it also have a split time function (start the chrono with the first button. Then stop the first time interval using the second button (it will continue to measure in the background). You can stop the second time interval with the first button I believe. At that point you will still see the first time interval displayed. Once you press the second button it will reset the first interval and jump to the second interval. Pressing the second buttone one more time resets the second interval and goes to 0)
Yes, it does. It is hard to include everything in a 1-minute short.
Can someone explain to me what does the small counter on the top right read?
That is for 1/10 of a second. Here is a full video about the watch: th-cam.com/video/5NEgQZFa7g0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dxGr2EXlU4FQuWuj
Just bought mine and arrived today, it stop suddenly even I did not prees the function, I tried to follow this instructions the crono function or the small arms doesn't move..
Hmm, that does not sound good. Is it original? It should work like this.
Shame on a watch this expensive they can’t get the second hand to hit the marks
Agree with that. They keep on improving the new versions.
What about the split or lap time?
You use the second (bottom) pusher to stop.
lol does this have a quartz movement?
The Swatch x Omega, yes.
what’s wrong with quartz movement?
Cost of this watch???
260 Euros in Swatch stores. Online it might be more expensive.
How to really use the chrono to measure the speed?
Here is a video about that: th-cam.com/video/n-c3wkgp0u0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o8OQNkmTD-89AGos
First, that bioceramic (Glorified name fora plastic) looks very cheap, especially when you are going to spend $300. Second, as you see in the video, second hand is not properly aligned. 3) More over this is not exact replica of the Speedmaster. Two minor dials are at the positions of 2 and 10, whereas they should be 3 and 9.
It resemble the original one but it is a fun watch, that is all.
I really don’t know the use of it to be honest, I have it on my fossil watch but I totally don’t have any idea what it’s use for
Here is a tutorial for the Swatch x Omega: th-cam.com/video/5NEgQZFa7g0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3UMV36dNFlDxDuty
It will work for a lot of chronograph watches.

Where is the moon face?
Does not have a moon phase. It is called the moonswatch because it is after the Omega Speedmaster that landed on the moon.
Thank you 🙏 ❤
You are welcome!
Hands don’t even line up with markers
Yeah, on some they line up better, on some not.

Yes, but it is nice.

It's the latest collab with Omega by Swatch.

step 1- throw it away and get a better chronograph.
It is not the best-built watch but a cool collectible Swatch.
Are those instructions really necessary? How are your viewers?
For many people, this is their first watch. Everyone must start somewhere.

There are a lot of Swatch watches from the 80s that still work just fine. You can service the Swatch Irony and the automatic models.
it doesn't work on my watch
Do you have the Swatch x Omega Chronograph?
@@vintageradar yes

Cheap plastic
Quite a cheap watch, but cool for collecting.
An omega replica is cheaper and better than the moonswatch. the chronometer on my replica is way smoother, the watch is all metal and well polished. it's a mechanical-quartz hybrid. I think it is much much better than the moonswatch.
Still a replica lol i hope someone copies ur work and makes it cheaper lmao
@@feynex31 if that someone makes it cheaper and better and higher quality, i'd shut down my company out of shame.
@@feynex31 the moonswatch is worse than a clone, it's all plastic, has a bad movement and a cheap chronograph because it ticks in 1 second while even on replicas it ticks in microseconds.
@@Thedarkethyst it is meant as a ad and a collectible its not that bad, swatches are at a similiar price.
