I definitely recommend ReadyLift. I also did a 1.75" leveling kit on top of my already 2" longer front struts from factory 21 Trail Boss. Now it sits 100% leveled front and rear. It looks amazing, and it rides so smooth with the new upper control arms.
Are any of you seeing the left rear of the truck sagging lower than the right rear. After getting my lift installed, I measured the right to be 1 inch higher. Super frustrating to see.
I put this same lift on my Trailboss back in March. Front and rear install and alignment took me about three hours. Price of cake. Very nice quality parts too…
I enjoy watching video like this since I’m handy myself, and this one is decently done..there’s something called specs for the torque of everything and reason is otherwise all the bushing will just wear out faster, one more hint would be to tight the upper control once you have tire on and it’s lowered to the ground so that also it’s bushing don’t go through much effort, what happen is you tight them then put tires on and every time you drive it moves and stretch the bushing that are rubbing in there..i just bought a 2022 3.0 duramax , traded my ram 1500 for it which i used to have a 2.5” level installed myself.. I’m contemplating keeping this one stock even tho it’s hard to accomplish LOL..congrats on the video !
I honestly would recommend washing and touching up the paint in the mount are of the frame while you have the strut off. Rust happens. And I'd consider cutting that rubber skirt off the shaft of the strut and put a typical off road boot on. They're better for keeping it clean.
I just ordered the Readylift SST for my 2019 Trail Boss. I have 295/70R18 Toyo Open Country MTs coming in. I read that they will fit with no rubbing on the factory wheels, which I like. I'm going to use thee 3" blocks that come with the kit. I need to have a tad bit of rake for towing my boat and for the 500 lbs of bags of sand that I keep in the bed during winter. Also, my wife bought me the RC high clearance front bumper that comes with LED lights and RC side steps.
I did a 4 inch ready lift wich is the same control arms ans spacer blocks I just want to comment that I came a cross an issue with the rear ubolts the where to long I didn't have a socket long enough to tightened all the way down so I had to cut them about "1,1/2" also I went with 35x12.5r20 on stock rins toyo open country mt I had to space it 2 inches 1,1/4 is enough but you have to cut the wheel studs
I think they changed this kit so you no longer have to disassemble the strut. It uses a spacer on the bottom control arm mounting point as well as the spacer at the top.
How did it rub? I know you don’t have this set up on there anymore. But I’m curious if doing this exact thing to my 2025 and want to know if it’s going to rub still. My end goal is to run 33x12.50 on a 22x12 with no rubbing
So, I’m confused, you dropped the rear 2” and raised the front another 2”? I understand you wanted to get rid of the rake look, but how did you? It’s not that clear.
Nice! I got same SST kit but I'm sure they don't make 4", unless it's different for chevy but for ford it's 3.5". Anyways. In next few days, check again for the height because once it settles it'll come down a little which it wont make much difference. Soon, you might even want to go for 6 or 7" lift.
@@MrPAULONEAL Only if you choose that option they have another option that has the upper control arm and a spacer. Plan on going with Bilstein shocks and struts.
Thanks for the video. It helped. The instructions that came with kit are pretty good also. Did this SST kit yesterday on my AT4 and after some driving my net gain is 1 3/4”. I didn’t bother raising the back as the top of wheel well in back is still higher by 3/4”. Still haven’t decided what wheel/tire size I’m going to go with. Like the 4Play 4P70 rims. Would like to squeeze 35” rubber if I can get the right offset and minor modifications with mud flap delete and inner fender well.
Hey man. Question. Why didn’t you leave on the 35 recons you had? Did they give you rubbing issues prior to putting on your lift? I noticed you put those on but when you went to do the lift the 33s were back on. Thanks man!
Ok I know u posted this Months ago but if u see this I have one question. What about the factory warranty did u not care that voided certain aspects of it?
Did you by chance end up wondering if your abs light was going to kick on or not? Lol I take everything sensors off now, no matter what. Cheaper than parts run to the dealer
Hey so I’m looking to upgrade my lift from blocks to an actual lift. Can I just change the shocks with the block and leave the rest or do you recommend a completely new lift kit
does yours have a bouncing feeling to it? I noticed after I installed mine (torqued everything to spec and alignment completed) it feels as if the front wheels bounce on sharp/ quick bumps on the road.
I just bought the trail boss lift for my truck, and as soon as I get it in I'm putting the ready lift. Have you had any problems with your 4 wheel drive. I need to use my 4x4 where I live
After 2 years. Doing another lift on my wife’s truck. This is still the best how to video!
Nice video, I appreciate you showing the struggle and not just an over edited no issues version. Truck looks good!
Man!! I just love your Videos. Just bought a White 2021 Trail Boss with 5.3l and you wont believe how helpful your Videos are.
Thank You!!!

so you can get a leveling kit that will just raise the front for the trail boss? What brand please?
@@evelyn201 Ready Lift Leveling Kit 1.75” SKU 66-3921 (I just ordered mine yesterday.)

Just got my trailboss with the 6.2 and it doesn't disappoint! The motor is strong 💪
Great video, very informative
Congrats. Hopefully yours doesn't develope a lifter tick like lmf's truck did
Love watching your videos between you and Lone Star Hawaiian ya’ll gives me so many ideas for my 2019 Trailboss!!!
Well said
YEAH THESE TWO GUYS REALLY GIVE YOU AMBITION AND MOTIVATION. SUPER TRILL!!!
Holy crap that looks so much better. I have not been a huge fan of the new body style until this! Now to convince the wife
I put this same lift on my Trailboss back in March. Front and rear install and alignment took me about three hours. Price of cake. Very nice quality parts too…
Don’t forget to grease the upper ball joints….

I just got mine done, damn control arm is close to my tire. It’s not rubbing but I can’t even slip a finger between em.
Maybe stupid question but with this being suspension components are you not worried about any torque specs?
This is actually the best video I have seen so far great job
Another incredible (and in depth) video!!
Love how 2.0 is coming along!! 👍
So when you did the front leveling kit and you reinstalled the factory lift block for the rear I’m assuming? No rubbing from the 22x12 with 33 tire?
Great job on the video and install. Now you just need to reinstall the rear blocks and bring that back end up a touch.
looks really good man just one thing id do is take running boards off!
Fr that’d be clean
They keep the rock chips away
@@lmfscrew true didnt think about that
I actually like the running boards looks and catching the rock chippers is ithe decision maker
I feel like some chrome wides would look amazing on that truck
4500 miles on my 2021 5.3...had to take a trip to the DR yesterday due to CEL and engine misfires...super sick!
What’s the problem with it?
I’ve been waiting for this video looks sick!

We're you able to fit those Toyos on the stock 2" lift without rubbing? I have AT4 and thinking something similar

No the one you’re thinking of is the 1.75 leveling kit. The 2.0 is as in the video
Does it need an alignment after kit installation?
I'm surprised the lift kit didn't come with diff spacers for correct CV angle.
How did it rub? I know you don’t have this set up on there anymore. But I’m curious if doing this exact thing to my 2025 and want to know if it’s going to rub still. My end goal is to run 33x12.50 on a 22x12 with no rubbing

Does the rear need an additional inch?
I can't hate . That bowtie looks tough 💪🏻

I used the same stock bolt from the upper control arm. The supplied nut would make the ball joint turn. Did you ever isntall the supplied nut after
I did 2 2021 f150s..ready lift has great instructions
Man I really don't like a Carolina Squat, rear rake all day long. However I appreciate everyone having their own interest, so enjoy.
What made you go with readylift over others? Cognito. Zone. Lots of better options
TH-cam dont pay much bud
@@chasedelbridge4167 TH-cam pays plenty and if you want cheap with better quality. The zone kit is literally $130 more.
they’re literally just metal rings and control arms how much better can they be
So once you install this you cant use auto 4 wheel drive?
Early Gang love the vids man!!
Just fyi that strut will spin once the upper mount is attached to the truck.
I’m gonna assume leaving the axles in was not an issue?
Can you make a video about the warranty if it voids it or not
Me sitting here waiting for the next video title to say I put 2inch drop shakels on my trail boss lol love the vids
Why didn't you just unplug the wheel speed sensor?
Great new look!! Just what it needed.
Can you run factory 18 inch wheel and tire With out spacers ?
Looks good all u need is the tow mirrors and she look really good
Does the ride get "pogo-y" like it can with leveling spacers? Or feel pretty close to stock
looks great man! I May go with the incognito kit for mine, want to keep the auto 4wd function.
Cognito's leveling kit uses Fox shocks and coilovers.
Chevrolet has a leveling kit for the Silverado.
@@MrPAULONEAL Only if you choose that option they have another option that has the upper control arm and a spacer. Plan on going with Bilstein shocks and struts.

I don’t wanna watch the whole video but does this lift require any cutting, permanent change from factory?
Ok I know u posted this Months ago but if u see this I have one question.
What about the factory warranty did u not care that voided certain aspects of it?
What size tires are you running after the lift
Does the 4 wheel drive auto still work?
Perfect, that was the video I was looking gor to do this and how difficult it will be.
Bro!! Looks bad ass!!! 💯🤙
Did you add the rear blocks?
I'm ordering that kit now, Great instructions!
With the full 2” SST kit front and back will it fit in a standard garage and how does it ride compared to stock
Can’t believe those stock upper control arms are even put on a truck like that.
Did you by chance end up wondering if your abs light was going to kick on or not? Lol
I take everything sensors off now, no matter what. Cheaper than parts run to the dealer
Funny part is that I've used a spring compressor many times and for some reason It's so scary to watch lol 😆
What wheel size is that at the beginning of the video
Everyone gets a white Trail Boss but honestly the torch red color looks best on trail boss
I love my torch red Trail Boss all blacked out. But want to add this lift now.
Agreed, I just got my red hot 6.2 boss. Its absolutely beautiful
Yessier we just need the blocks removed and we in there
Do you have to move the driver side airbox to takeoff the
strut?
Can you paste the link to buy have a 21 trail boos too also happen what your truck did but is fix now and trying to do a leveling kit like urs
Did this void the warranty
Are the brake lines giving you any problems?
Great videos! Love the set up. Could you please post what running boards you have on this set up or if anyone knows? Like the clean sleek look.
What size tires are you running with this? Also what’s the measurement from ground to the fender? Curious to know how much this lifts over stock.
Hi Look.good !!!! does the 4x4 high or low vibrate at high speed ?
Will this work with Bilstein B8 6112 Suspension?
With those control arms does the ball joint have angle?
Great video ..my son is getting ready to lift his 1500 n it seems pretty easy truck looks hella nice 👌

Specs on your wheels and tires buddy? Any trimming done? TIA
Amazing video man👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Is this the sst 2.0, did you do the rear? Or that is the stock rear.
That sensor wire doing more work holding the spindle than the ratchet strap
Put pressure on that UCA with a pry bar and that ball joint won’t spin 😉
did your truck come with the black front and back bumper?
You need to put the blocks in the back, will make it level because only a inch bigger than original and get rid of that squat look.
First!! Love it!!
Do you still have the rear block out with the 2 inch rear drop shackle ?
does yours have a bouncing feeling to it? I noticed after I installed mine (torqued everything to spec and alignment completed) it feels as if the front wheels bounce on sharp/ quick bumps on the road.
Damnnmm! That is sweet! How much for the kit and from where? Did your truck already have a factory lift? I might have missed that part.
The Trail Bosses are lifted two inches from the factory. Also you find the kit pretty much anywhere. EBay, Amazon, etc, etc
I got that same leveling kit and I used my auto four wheel drive just fine… works like it was stock
Btw looks awesome!!!
I just bought the trail boss lift for my truck, and as soon as I get it in I'm putting the ready lift. Have you had any problems with your 4 wheel drive. I need to use my 4x4 where I live
Beautiful truck, what exhaust are you runnin?
Where do you live?? Love all the background in your vids.
What a hot truck!!!!!!
Link to those rear overlays or covers please
What size tires an wheels u running..
Awesome video! Very clear. Thanks!
Is it still leveled once u put the front end together and the blocks on the rear ?
If you put the blocks in the rear it will sit higher in the rear
Have you thought about painting the tow hooks white or leave them red 🤔
How’s the kit holding up?thinking about getting it for my custom trail boss!
How does it ride ?
Looks sick!! Is it still all the same for the sierra at4? Just wondering if there's any difference in the installation.
Should be the same
Nice Truck Brother!!
Hey what size wheels and tires you put on after your readylift was installed?
Nice sweet truck
