    What ever you do dont tighten the axle nut with an impact like they did. It causes premature bearing failure. It torque to 177 ft pounds and is 36mm.

    There is no need to remove the axle nut just remove sway link, undo all wiring clips, loosen front 2 top strut nuts and take off top ball joint. Kit slides right in.

    You guys should partner with Atlas or Deaver to offer upgraded leaf springs for guys that dont want to run lift blocks for the rear lift. I see you offer upgraded coilovers from bilstein and i feel the upgraded leaf springs would be the ultimate setup.

    I just dont understand why some people choosing to install the upper struct spacers instead of installing the lower strut spacer.. The lower strut spacer leveling kit is so much easier to install. You can even do it with the tire still on. Some weird ass ppl

    • @dregsta
      @dregsta 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michon agreed. I installed the suspension max leveling kit 2.5 inch on my suburban 2020 and it was a real pain in the ass. You can’t do it alone and you have no other choice but to do it on a lift

    • @schmoey45
      @schmoey45 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because the truck he is installing(2019+) if you only install the bottom and not split the difference l, the axle boot will be a few bumps away from touching Bottom of the strut. So it’s not weird, just knowledge.

    • @TheWhiteDewain

      So you don’t have to add the lower strut spacer necessarily

    I attempted this install with no help and gave up. I couldn't get the sway bar off because when I turned the nut to get it off a rod would spin and nut wouldn't loosen. If I had an impact wrench it might would've gotten it off. I think the sway bar was keeping me from getting the lower strut low enough to get the kit in under the strut. I put everything back together and took it to a local truck accessories shop and they installed it. I am now hearing some kind of noise from the front of the truck. I took back to the shop and they said they checked everything and then told me the kit wasn't meant for a 2020 Silverado and the one I needed went on top of the strut and that could be the problem. I think its the cv axle got ruined by me or them or hopefully just the sway bar is loose. how would I know if I damaged the cv axle?

    • @kevingalloway8065

      what kind of noise is the front end making?

    • @gsikonia
      @gsikonia 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look for green grease around the cv boots. The sway bar is a pain, you can use a 10mm wrench or socket to keep the whole thing from spinning.

    • @chriswhite8428

  • @wingnut72282
    @wingnut72282 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I got some clamps that come off I got to fix after installing my leveling kit. Are the boots and clamps the main concern you are stressing? a whole new cv axle is only about $125 so why is it that big of deal? I mean $125 would suck to have to pay extra but not a bank breaker.
    do you know how to remove the cv inner axle? do you just use a slide hammer?
