Oh Belinda! I totally agree with you about being a lady of a certain age. I’m 58 next month, and I was catapulted through menopause 6 years ago courtesy of chemo for bowel cancer. I don’t get the hot flushes any more, but all the other delights such as brain fog, forgetfulness, body aches, fatigue, etc still plague me. I can’t take hot weather anymore either 🫠 I remember when I was in my teens/20s sitting out in the blazing sun with baby oil or some extremely low factor suntan oil on 🫤 Now it’s factor 50 and sitting in the shade ⛱ Those muffins look delicious 😋 Sending lots of love from Kent, Sam xxx

Viewing from Nashville, TN via granny Pat. I love your bags and especially the polka dot blanket! I learned how to basic crochet as a teenager and also macrame. Not sure if I could do it now. I can relate to what you said - I'm 53 going through menopause and I have days too where i just don't like what is looking back at me in the mirror. I think a lot of us do. You are a beautiful sweet lady and I am looking forward to your other videos!

About the teeth, I know the feeling 😢 I’m 54 and some years ago I had to have some teeth removed, so I had to have a prosthesis made 😔 that’s something to get use to, but they are made naturally, so no one can see they are not mine all of them 😆, so I’m just glad it’s possible 🙏🏻. cake baking , amazing knitting 😍and beautiful sewing bags , you are so talented ❤️ sending much love ❤️

Such a fabulous blog lovely! I wouldn’t worry about tooth gap, we worry about it more then anyone notices or it can be seen… I have one that I just don’t notice anymore as git use to it so don’t worry. Bags look fabulous, you gave inspired me to try to make some! I’m currently trying to do drop spindle which is ‘interesting’ lol 😂 but I’m going to persevere.,. Have a lovely week

I have watched you so many times and honestly can see no difference at all. I've started thinking is this gap meant to be at the bottom or the top because I just can't see it. When you talk your eyes sparkle and it's that that people see. I don't believe anyone is looking at your teeth. So please don't let that get you down. 😊💗

I always look forward to seeing your videos and seeing you and Bilbo ☺ I think Autumn is my favourite season I love seeing all the Autumnal colours in nature and the things in shops . Your clay pumpkins were nice . I have seen people make things and they use a little turntable thingy when they are decorating their things . I totally understand how you feel with the menopause symptoms, I'm going through peri menopause so I'm not quite fully there yet but a lot of the time I feel quite down about myself and I do things wrong and just feel weird so you are not alone lovely lady xx

I also found your channel through Granny Pat. I live in Ohio, USA. She is so right when she said you had such a peaceful and soft spoken demeanor. I am also going through menopause and it seems all the issues I had prior are now worse due to that. My teeth have also felt the effects of that and years of medication. Last November I went through the surgery of getting my upper denture. A lot has happened since then in my life so I have yet to go in for my final fitting but then I will be done with the process. I love, love dogs and your fur baby is so sweet. 😊 I can’t wait to catch up on your videos. ❤😊

Hi Belinda, I’ve been catching up on your videos after falling and breaking my humerus at the shoulder end, which has been a really rough time for me and your videos have been a lovely distraction. I completely understand about your feelings around menopause and looking in the mirror. I used to love my beautiful smooth straight hair, and menopause has thinned it out and changed its texture into a curly and extremely frizzy mess. Makes me sad every time I look at it.
