Looking at your beautiful stone fencing reminds me of the areas surrounding Lexington, KY bearing similar fences bordering our horse farms. They look so much alike.
Hey lovely I am so sorry that I only just got chance to watch your vlog ! 😳 … yay you got the basket bag 😊 I just knew you would love it too 🥰. Grassington looked beautiful and I know one day you will call it home 🏠.. literally squealing with delight at a sneak peek of my new blanket , you are an absolute whizz ☺️.. sending lots of love to you my lovely friend 😘😘 xxx
What a lovely episode dear Belinda ❤ when we came to the UK for 9 weeks we spent 1 week based in Richmond (right near the castle) and travelled around Yorkshire- it was simply beautiful 🤩 I even bought a heap of yarn from the Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Shop and posted it home. Yorkshire is especially dear to me as my Grandpa and his parents emigrated from there in 1909- they lived on Bruny Island which must have been so isolated back then! I’m sad you needed to cut your holiday short- the wind is so yucky- it’s been blowing a gale here for the last few days- hopefully we won’t end up closer to Antarctica 😂
@@BelleandStitch yes the Wensleydale yarn was a huge treat ☺️ I knitted their Beryl cardigan which is moss stitch all over🤪and it receives many compliments! We did go to the cheese factory which was so yummy 😋 and the rope factory too which was really interesting! Wishing you a lovely week Belinda ….with a little isolation if possible 😉
Oh those wonderful stone walls, lovely to see the country side, thank you Belinda and your hubby for being a little part of it.Always love seeing Bilbo. Did I tell you that I am coming over to the UK with my son and DIL next year late in June early July . Also going to Amsterdam and other places. I am currently researching visits. We are staying in Berkhamstead north of London. It will be sad in lots of ways because my husband isn't here anymore and he was from England. I'm hoping to find some places he used to mention a lot but don't think I will have the time for all.Love seeing your walks and thankyou for beautiful videos. That crochet blanket you are doing for a friend at the moment is fabulous, love the pompom for the sides.Hugs
How exciting to look forward to that trip Shirley, although I can imagine it will be emotional for you visiting all the places so special to your late husband. Sending love 😘

Thankyou for sharing your holiday with us. Yorkshire looks beautiful. I also follow Miranda Mills who lives in Yorkshire with her mum. She often shares her trips around Yorkshire. A very relaxing vlog. ❤
The footage of Yorkshire is stunning, and like you, I would love to live there. A few years ago my husband and I went to Grassington for our wedding anniversary which is in December. We had a very nice meal at the Devonshire Arms at a table next to a lovely open fire, and afterwards a walk around the village which was even more beautiful at night with all of the Christmas lights. It was one of those experiences I don’t think I will ever forget. Your crochet blanket is going to be lovely, those colours work so well together. I am pleased that you have so many new subscribers, your videos are always a treat to watch.
I discovered Granny Pat the other day and she mentioned you. Your content is wonderful and beautifully sweet, like you. Your music and countryside escapes are sooooo soothing. I’m watching from Las Vegas, Nevada USA I’ll be catching up on your previous videos.
How lovely to see your walk to Grassington. My friends and I are going to Yarndale and have a cottage in Linton for the week so it was good to see what we have to look forward to. Thank you. 😍
Good evening, Belinda... I have just finished watching your latest episode from your Holiday trip to Yorkshire...Oh my goodness, I can see why you love going there. It is just breath taking...The countryside and scenery are perfectly "unspoiled" and so green (aren't those lucky cows, who get to munch on all of that lush green grass?) It is just lovely and you have a special knack for capturing the essence of life there and what it must feel like to walk down the streets of the villages and all...I had imagined the English Countryside to look just as it does in the videos you share with us. It also struck me as to how "clean and un-littered" the roads and roadsides are in England. It is a stark difference from many places you would see in the U.S. Of course, I think the area you live in is absolutely gorgeous...Do you ever tire of all the beautiful nature, greenery and flowers around you? Your pup is a lucky one to be able to run freely across those lovely fields. I live in the city just over the hills from "Hollywood"...While we are surrounded by mountains (hills) here in Burbank, our climate is a lot warmer, drier and therefore, less green than yours. Our hills become very dry by Summer's end and early Fall. You have probably heard about our "fire season" that comes in Summer, through the latter part of Fall. Thank you once again for sharing your "get-away" to Yorkshire with us... I look forward to your next episode next week... Sending Love from, Burbank, California. Pam Kirkwood
Thank you for your lovely words Pam, I can never tire of the beautiful countryside but I guess it’s taken me all of my 50 years to start appreciating it more and noticing it. Fire season sounds very scary indeed, I hope you have escaped that? Sending love 😘
Thank you Belinda for your advice about the Foodbod videos. At last I have successfully made my sourdough starter and my first loaf. I am thrilled it is wonderful. Sorry you had to cut short your holiday but unfortunately that is typical of the Yorkshire Dales weather. I have always fancied living in Skipton, such a lovely and lively market town, but the cold and rain would affect my fibromyalgia too much I think. The quiche looked yummy too and is my answer to "what's left in the fridge" at the end of the week. It always makes a delicious meal whatever you put in it. Thank you for another lovely video. xx
Great to see the A59 at Blubberhouses is open again! Welcome to the best county NORTH Yorkshire! South and west are no comparison and East Yorkshire doesn’t exist… the ridings were replaced in 1974, now Humberside. 😂.the housing market has gone daft in North Yorkshire and the city of York. You must visit a beautiful area of North Yorkshire next time you plan a trip I’ll message you where xx
