I'm so excited to have you read us poems! I am just starting a class in college that is about analyzing poetry! Bilbo is such an amazing dog; I love how he side-eyes when he thinks he will get a treat! 🤣 I love your catch-ups and am excited to see you finish your sock pairs! ❤

Happy Birthday 🎂 I hope you have a wonderful day. Thus far January is not being kind to us ! We are going through a stressful and frustrating time and many tears have been shed in the last couple of weeks . I'm sure it will get sorted soon but I'm just finding it so hard right now. I never did get an email back from you but it's ok if you didn't want to reply . I was just looking forward to it. The poem was very lovely and I look forward to hearing more. Bilbo was cute Sat upright listening to you as you read it 😊 I enjoy everything you show and talk about on your videos . I don't knit or crochet myself but I love crafts in general and love seeing what people make. More cooking/baking would be fun.

Lovely episode. Enjoyed hearing “Trees” read…his poem was taught, memorized and performed in elementary school pageants when I was a child. We have visited the beautiful old-growth Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest in nearby North Carolina many times. I often recite it to myself on warm East Tennessee summer afternoons sitting beneath a canopy of tree leaves…but now, so nice to have it brought to mind in January by you 😘🌳🌲🙏

Firstly, have a wonderful birthday on the 19th Belle 🎉🥳🎂 I’m sure you have, but have you thought about 2 at a time socks? I can’t do magic loop so can’t have 2 socks on same needle but I do 2 at a time on 2 sets of needles (rib on first, then I do the other, then half the body, then the other etc) I find it’s not much slower than knitting one at a time and I don’t get 2nd sock syndrome ☺️🧦🧦 How did the job interview go…how exciting, fingers crossed for you lovely 🤞xx

Belinda, it is so nice to see a vlog from you, I had intended watching you last night but we had a massive electrical storm and the power went out for nearly nine hours.Thank you for taking us along with you to the Garden Centre, you are so lucky having it near you, I loved the mug display especially. As it is summer here in Australia I am using January to give my home a deep clean and declutter. Wishing you a Happy Birthday for the 19th January, I had to laugh when you said about moving your birthday to June when it is warmer there, my birthday is in June and I would love to move mine to January when it is warm here. As a child, I was always asking if I could move my birthday to June! Like you, I am definitely an over thinker… I’m sharing my thoughts about this time of the year in my next podcast on Monday! xx

Hello dear Belle- thank you for a lovely visit ❤ my word that garden centre is an amazing place! Our garden centres are exactly that- for gardens! Plants, pots, fertilizers etc- maybe with a little gift section but nothing like yours. I’ve noted down the Woodland Trail Sock - so very squishy looking 😊 I have some sock skeins that would look beautiful in that pattern- thanks for sharing. I’m very proud of you finding things to love about Winter and you can be proud of me finding things to enjoy about Summer ( which I secretly don’t like) - we’ve had some very hot and sticky weather here but I’ve been looking for the positives….at least the washing dries quickly, if you can pop it out early so that you don’t roast in the Sun 😂 finally I’ll be thinking of you on Saturday, have the most magical birthday 🎂

Good morning. Your single socks make me smile. Here in the US it has become socially and fashionably acceptable to wear mismatched socks, you can even buy mismatched socks! So you are ready to go! No need to make a second one. I do not knit but do not like to repeat the needlework projects I do, if so it's rare. I enjoy taking down Christmas and packing it away and thinking about the memories of this year. Enjoy your video;s - nice to get out of my house!

My gran read poetry all the time and I remember her reading this poem,thank you for the lovely memory…

I can completely relate to birthdays around this time of year…..mine is three days before Christmas and always feels rushed past in all the preparations everyone is making, not to mention Christmas menus in restaurants so I can’t even get a non-Christmas dinner birthday meal. Or my other favourite is a “one gift to cover birthday and Christmas” 🤦‍♀️ I love your videos just as they are but if you fancy a change then all I can say is do what you fancy….it’s all part of the fun of doing and trying new things….but most importantly it must be something that gives you joy to do. Oh Belinda, Bilbo is such a sweetheart and he just sat with you listening to everything you said. I loved the poem and would love to hear more. I also frogged the same shawl and I’m now using my advents to make the Adventuresome Wrap which I think is slightly smaller, but I want to have it for holidays in the evening. Hi Bella, another enjoyable vlog/video, I have 2 sons ones birthday 29th Novemeber and the other 11th January, he was 39 yrs old....how did that happen lol. You and I have similar things in our kitchen you I think, have a Emma Bridgewater pigs ear salt jar whereas I have a Le Creuset one and exactly the same pastry mat. I've not got a Sage coffee machine...yet lol

Dear Belinda, I love your vlogs just as they are. They are well edited and visually stunning (even your kitchen items are so pretty). I love the outdoor scenes of the English countryside (which I will never get to see in person), I love Bilbo, your calming voice, and the beautiful music you include. Idea on going forward! How about trying out a new hobby, one every 3 months! Needle felting, water colour painting, pin weaving, drawing, cake icing, musical instrument, clay models, flower pressing stamp collecting 😂😂 👍 this way you learn and we get a giggle (laughing with you) or amazed because you'll be awesome at a least one ✌️👏😘

I totally understand why you would like to move your birthday, this year it will be on Blue Monday! I prefer to knit my socks 2aat (2 at at time, so both on one circular needle). That way they will be exactly the same, and I never have SSS (Second Sock Syndrom). You could also try simultaneous knitting, so you knit the cuff/toe of sock 1 on one pair of needles, than the cuff/toe of the second sock on another pair. Do the same for the legs, feet and heels. What I would like to see? Well, more of your knitting!! Please wear garments that you have knit and tell us about them, show your finished objects etc. I loved the content you showed in this video of the garden center (I love English tableware) and the nature. My biggest regret in life is to postpone my emigration to the UK, because eventually I never moved 😢, so I would love to see the streets, old buildings, the countryside. And last but certainly not least: Bilbo 💜. Just gorgeous how he was sitting next to you, wondering who you were talking to! Whatever you will show us, I subscribed right after your first video, and I am always happy when I see you have posted a new video, because like some else wrote it here so nice "a moment of peace", that's what your videos are for me. So thank you!!
