I just found your podcast this morning as a suggestion by youtube. I'm so glad! I live in Central Ohio and I am a longtime crocheter (42 years!) and started knitting about 5 years ago. My very first project? Socks. !!! Not sure why I chose those, but now I feel like I can knit anything. LOL Your shawl turned out lovely. Practice makes perfect! If I can do socks, you can tackle that shawl that starts with just 3 stitches. ◡̈ I have so many projects going right now, but it's hard to get to them all regularly since I am employed full time - darn job gets in the way of all the fun, but I work so I can buy all of the hand dyed yarns and goodies I need/want for my crocheting and knitting 😄 I'm going to go back and watch some more of your episodes this weekend while I craft away at the same time!

I just found your channel. Love your enthusiasm for all things crochet. I've been crocheting for some 50 years. I lived in Prescott Valley, AZ for 27 years. I moved to Oregon 6 years ago and am loving it here. I dabble in knitting. Unlike you I don't know how to fix my knitting mistakes. I've always wanted to knit socks but have failed again and again. However, I found a lovely crochet pattern for socks and have been making all the socks.

Oh Abby you are THE sweetest lady x well done on your knitting, I'm the opposite to you, I can easily knit but crochet is hard for me ..... lot's of practice and hopefully we'll both get there! I adore all of your projects, your colour choices are beautiful x and Omigosh i was so happily surprised when you showed our advent kits, how exciting!
