Jake, I used to own a van conversion shop and know the older model Sprinters well. First issue: depending on how you attach the foam board, it will "squeak" endlessly as you drive down the road depending on how you attach it. Prewire everything, then use closed-cell foam as they use in houses. More expensive, but QUIET and very well insulated. Ping me if you have questions, I'm the bee vacuum guy.
Oh, for the walls, use 1/8" luan. Bends well to the curves. Do the wall as one piece, up to about a foot below the ceiling. Then a single piece across the ceiling and bend down to meet first piece. Very nice finish look. Cover it with FRP for a easy-to-clean finish.
This is awesome! I ended up sticking the foam board with spray foam (with a low expansion ratio) then filled the gaps with spray foam. We covered with 1/4” birch leaving the lower steel rail exposed so I can go back and build a shelf later. It’s MUCH quieter now. Just need to do something about the wheel wells. Rocks sound like gunshots hahah
My goal with the channel is just to be a commercial beekeeper vlog. Just experience based. This will never be a strictly educational channel. I don’t have the time for that 🤣🤣
@@beefarmerjake oh sorry mate I was a little off haha! I’m too old and people look as old as me sometimes. Is there a lot of alfalfa up there? Or what’s the benefit of sending them up there for honey vs down there?
It’s all good! Summers here in Texas are very hard on bees. They can go up to the Dakotas and basically have another spring! Lots of clover and canola!
Like all your videos brother. Your intro alone makes me want to work the bees! Enjoyed meeting you at TBA Summer Clinic too! Keep going hoss… more is better- so long as you don’t start adding fluff to hit a particular length to make YT algorithm happy.

You need to get Moore honey into HEB.....AMAZING Texas grocery chain
We are! We service 20 different HEBs in our region of Texas.
Be careful with the spray foam in the cracks it will bent the exterior sheet metal when it expands.
What are they pollinating in the Dakota’s? And how old are you? 34?
Not pollinating, just making honey! I’m 26 lol… 😂
