Hi Jake, a few episodes back you showed your comb room being cooled. Was that a special refrigeration unit? I'd like to know a little more about it. I need something for my comb room to keep from using moth crystals and bug bombs. Thanks!
Yeah, first step is a well insulated room, otherwise you’ll break the bank in electricity. The AC unit was setup by a guy that knows refrigeration very well, someone way smarter than me haha. Depending on the size of your room though, I’ve heard that you can hack window units with a cool bot to get them to go down in temp as well.
Interesting 👍
That’s a heck of a set-up for honey production. Would love to see it in action once you get all the maintenance completed!
Absolutely! A few videos back I have it in action but will definitely be making more.
Enjoyed seeing the extractor.
I about lost it with the 80s training montage music during the time lapse.
😂😂
I need a way to process wet cappings…. On the cheep

Cool stuff Jake!
Thanks!
You run steam in yours? Ive been thinking about adding it to my 60. I'm in Arizona. It's so dry here sometimes it comes out of the comb 12-13%.
Noooo not here haha we do good to get 17%
The price for a new 120 frame extractor is over 100k…
Oh yeah
