Im with you. I have a 2019 RG CVO, I put the Tab .50 cals with the Zombies AND that rear Butt plug for the look. I just bought a 2023 SG CVO, I also put the Tab .50 cals on it as well except this time I decided to "tone it down a bit" so I went with the 2.5 louvered baffles.....NOPE....I was so disappointed with the sound that wasn't much better then stock pipes. I did about one mile on them and was super mad. I got home and immediately ordered the zombie baffles with those rear plugs with their "Z" emblem in them, put em on the bike and HELL YES. Great rumble
I told you brother. 😆 Valiant wasn’t a good example so I understand why you thought it would be too loud. Man oh man the Zombies sound better before the engine even turns over!
I'm a bass player and when I hear those pipes, the stock 114 is James Jamerson, the 2018 Ultra is Stanley Clarke, and the 2022 Limited is dUg Pinnick. They all sound great, but I'm a huge fan of Pinnick's tone haha.
I just bought a 23 with zombies in it and 114 and it's just kind of loud and not great performance. I will install a Woods 22XE and that will make it overbearing so I plan on getting the 2.5's to offset and gain performance.
I just put in 4.5 Bam sticks with V&J power dials and Woods 222 cam. Zombie on left, 2.5 on right, and my 13’ Street glide was kinda quiet. SVT Boneshakers sounded better and stronger performance. Going to try zombies with torque cones to find a happy place. Blessings
Thanks! I love Kraken's channel. The series with his mom is outstanding. I lived in Long Beach about 30 years ago and probably drove by the areas that his mom talks about. After watching Krakens video, I may do a video about my dad (even though he's gone). Thanks for checking out my channel.
Hey man, great videos! Thanks! Do you have stock headers and all aside from maybe hi flow AC? I just put Tab 2/1/2 headers on with target tune and 4.5" zombie baffles, and WOW. Awesome!
@@RidingandWrenching Yes, never swapped headers before but it was pretty easy. I had a tune from fuelmoto when I bought the PowerVision for a hi flow AC, and Tab mufflers. When I installed the headers, wide band O2 sensors, and target tune module, I ran a few autotune sessions to dial it in and it runs wicked pissa!! (I'm from Boston) Btw, the Tab 2/1/2 headers use the factory heat shields so it all looks factory.
It's always hard to hear the authentic sound of any exhaust without being there in person. Both of the TAB mufflers sound good. All that matters to me is a deep rumble and speaking with my wife without raising our voices while riding. I run S&S power tune duals (NO CAT) and S&S SPO mufflers, which are perfect for us. Are any of these bikes running a catless header?
This is my second comment. How can you post this video without talking about the Mustang? My Dad owned a 1966 Mustang with a 289 and a manual transmission when I got my license in 1978. Seeing that car brings back incredible memories of my father and the car.
How about 2.5 w/o the packing material…? Zombies to loud, 2.5 not loud enough - so what about taking out the packing off of those louvered baffles - before you spend on the Zombies try that I bet it will be really close
Zombies aren't that bad if you have the stock header and catalytic converter. Once you decat and change the header, the zombies are too loud for my taste. 2.5 baffles with decat and headers is good for me
@@RidingandWrenching so I have 4 inch tabs with zombie baffles on my 23 R3 Trike 114, stock headers, with cat in place did a sound test idling after warm up at about 96-97 DB’s - blip the throttle 104. - 106. Have 4 inch Tabs with 2.5 louvered baffles packed with fiberglass from Tab, on my 2024 Road Glide 117, stock headers, stock cat. Sound test at idle after warm up 84-86 DB’s - blip the throttle, 96-98, rev at 104 DB’s … that’s ok for me. But for all you that want more sound and have the 2.5’s try taking out your baffles and removing the fiberglass wrapping packing and check the sound gain - should be that of the Zombies -
@Riding and Wrenching I ordered the 4.5's 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I heard the 4.0 on a dealer bike sounded good. Did you remove the resonator? If not mistaken that makes the exhaust super loud
The2.5 baffles sound the best. The zombie is straight pipe and sounds like a broken tin can and hurts performance badly

I have the zombies in my 22 stage 4 131 street glide special. Love the sound!
I'm thinking about putting a 131 in my 18 Road Glide.
Que......great great video.... exactly what I wanted to see and hear....thanks.
Thank you!
They sound INCREDIBLE
I got the zombie baffles and I love them.
I told you brother. 😆 Valiant wasn’t a good example so I understand why you thought it would be too loud. Man oh man the Zombies sound better before the engine even turns over!
In addition to putting 50 cals on Myles (my street glide) I'm going to change the baffles on Ida Lee to Zombies
*_I Vote Zombie. If I had those, I'd keep the bike running all day._*
3 beautiful bikes and that bad ass car. Bet you got the coolest garage on the block brother 😎
Can't go wrong with a Mustang and a Harley!

I changed to medium baffles. I don't need all of the noise.

Hi Cue, just wondering if the zombie baffles may be too loud if you like to listen to your stereo? Nice video, thank You
If you leave the stock headers and catalytic converter, it's not too bad.
Hey man, Kraken's Garage and Adventures sent me! Look forward to checking out your channel! I ride over here in the Boston area of MA

Hello great channel very nice filmed ;)
Thank you! I have another exhaust video coming out soon.
Zombies sound awesome!

Wow! I'm all stock except for the Tabs. Did you install the headers yourself? Did you have to get it tuned?

The only (engine/exhaust) mods on these bikes are slip ons.
Does the bike with the 2.5 baffles has a opened header pipe or still has the catalyst in it ?
Yes. Both bikes have stock headers
💯💯💯

Thanks! I guess I need to make a video about the Mustang one of these days! It's a 66 coupe, 289 automatic. I've had it for abt 20 years.
@@RidingandWrenching I'd appreciate it. I also read that you have a kick A$$ 2012. Like you, I love anything with an engine.
Did you get the 50 Cals on your SGS yet?
I did. I will be posting an update on those soon.
No contest...Zombie baffles all the way....😎👍
exactly!!
I'm torn between the zombie and the 2.5, love the lope of the zombie but the 2.5 sounds deeper
After listening to my brothers bike, I'm switching to Zombies. If I decide to put a cam on it, I may switch back to the 2.5"
If you do a cam and headpipe you might want to go back to the louvered.
Agreed! I did a cam and header and it's a bit too loud with zombie baffles.
Thanks for the video. I’m going 2.5 baffles in 4.5” wife. Lmao.
