I had it on a carabiner clipped to my belt, brand new from dealer. When I got home it was mangled, coming apart nearly ripped completely through plastic eyelet 🤯🤯
I have no idea how or why you popped up, but I'm now a subscriber. I purchased the HD keyfob protector because mine shows wear from almost 150,000 miles of riding on my 2013 FLHTK. One additional comment. You are a natural on camera, and I look forward to past and future videos.
@@RidingandWrenching I replace my lifters and chain tensioners every 60K (4 years). I use Redline in the engine, transmission, and primary. I'm almost always two up and ride back roads in the mountains of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Crank run-out has never changed since new and compression is near perfect.
Keep it coming Q! Hopefully one day we can get together man as I reside in Memphis. My bike is at Southern Thunder as we speak getting a radio upgrade.
Good idea...Fortunately we both have to keys...Natchez Trace is a good road but very boring if you don't explore it. We stay on the trace for 8 days and loved it. BTW we are heading in your direction.
Thanks Cue for the reminder and ideas! I found a nice leather H-D key fob cover on Amazon, added it to the wishlist for the bike... and forgot about it. Need order a couple (I have a 2008 H-D Rocker C, two keys). The tracker, brilliant idea! I am already using the Tile platform for my car and house keys, but hadn't thought about the bike keys. And now that you brought it up... now I'm thinking (can smell the gears spinning?) putting a Tile on the easily stolen stuff on the bike (seat, pillion/rack, windscreen, etc.) and the bike itself. Heck maybe I can find a flat spot on my head and put one in my helmet. 😎
@@RidingandWrenching My helmet is a 3XL (I have a huge melon on my neck) ICON Airflite MIPS Stealth, only $320. But it has a Cardo Packtalk Black communicator ($270), a GoPro moto vlogging setup ($450), and soon a BrakeFree helmet taillight ($170). A fair chunk of change invested, a tracker is a small price to protect it. Again, thank you for the idea!
@@RidingandWrenching I have a lot of complaints about my local Harley dealer, but I lucked out with the key fob. Lol. Thank you for your videos. Keep up the great work.
I just came home with a 2022 Heritage 114 this Wednesday. Only one fob received with the bike. First thing I did when I arrived home with the bike was to change the security code. Good thing too cause it was set to all 1’s
Great Tip. Also proves why knowing your pin is so important
Absolutely!
Some neat little devices.

Great idea, and you also need to know your PIN # to start your HD in the event you lose your FOB.
Great point! I changed the PIN on both of my bikes.
good idea, specially the air tag!
I stick em on everything!
Good information 👍🏾

Thank you! Have you had any major mechanical problems with your bike? I'm shooting for high mileage on my Road Glide. I've got 77,000 on it so far

I met those 2 guys at the traveling tall event
Always enjoy your videos. The air tag is a great idea. I never realized you can program it to alert you like that.

Nice! You getting the Rockford Fosgate system?
Nice tip. Ordered one immediately. I have a similar fob cover for my car. I dunno why I didn’t think to do one for my Harley. lol
I have one on my key chain AND one on my bike! I don't know how useful they will be if my bike is stolen, but it's better than nothing
Great video sir
Great ideas
Thanks for serving! New sub
I got one it’s a step above though but kick ass.
Thank you!
I lost mine in March! Still on back order from Harley! 2015 ultra limited low
Dang! Sorry to hear that. I need to order a spare for my Street Glide. Don't want to wait for it to happen to get a spare

The last 40 miles before Nashville are nice! It's possible that I may have gone a mile or 2 over the speed limit😂
@@RidingandWrenching Yeah the last before Nashville are fantastic.
Great suggestions.
Very informative and helpful video Mike. Nicely done as usual. 👍🏾
Great Tip for this old guy that is constantly looking for my personal stuff . I just found this channel and subscribed. Thanks for the Imfo . Cheers 👍
Thank you! As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention!
Awesome tip on the key I've lost one !
I hope you had a spare! I need to get a spare for my Street Glide.
@@RidingandWrenching that I did 👍
Thank you for the information. I only got one fob with my 2020 Softail.
Another great tip with the fob case and air tag! 👌
Great job on the video I will purchase these products.
Can you post a video of what to do if your key fob doesn’t work.
Warren
Great idea for a video! I'll work on that
Yes very useful bro 👍🏽
awesome video
Thanks!

My Shoei helmet is expensive! That's not a bad idea of putting one on the helmet! I think I have 6 so far. On my keys, motorcycles, and my trailer.

My bike is '21 and it came with two fob. Maybe it depends on the dealership. Either way great tips
I wonder if the dealerships are providing the extra key. My 22 only came with one, my brother got 1. Who knows!
I don't have a fob for my bike...but I'm definitely going to look into the air tag thing. But I don't have an iPhone 🥴
Time to step up to iPhone bro!
I’ve heard a few times that people are only getting 1 key fob. My 2021 SGS came with 2 key fobs. Guess I got lucky.
My 22 only has 1. I have a friend that got 1 key with a 20 Ultra Limited

Check out be the boss of your motorcycle great channel great guy!
Absolutely! I'll be at the anniversary meet up in November
2020 only came with one key
I think you're right. My buddy has a 2020 that came with only 1 key.
