ok so this actually worked for me! The mic in my 2020 Tiguan stopped working about 2-3 weeks ago. I tried everything. The thing that got it back working was to follow this video "restore factory settings" but THEN immediately reboot the "infotainment"/carplay system, by holding down both knobs for about 10+ seconds, until the "VW" symbol appears. Then it was restored and my microphone worked perfectly.
Not seen any vlogger tried factory reset.
Will this reset the driver seat?
I replaced VW 2021 cross sport car battery but now have dash error codes. Any one know how to erase error or reset?

What about the setting on the seat. I can no longer set any settings on the seat. The set button doesn’t seem to work

I think it only works on multimedia.
For seat controls make sure vehicle is on and your in park
It did not work for me. The radio stations were still set. The phone was there. The caller can not hear me. The problem persists
