IIRC the first post was confirmed as fake due to discrepancies in OP's posting history. In this story he claims he’s from Puerto Rico and moved to NYC in 1984, while in another post OP claimed he was Pakistani living in London but born in France. Plus I don't know any Puerto Ricans that describe Hispanic or Latino teens as "spanish".

Not a writer but an avid reader and I can say you ABSOLUTELY can see when writers go through major life events. When a writer “finds god” the characters will suddenly find religion (Anne Rice), if they are trying for a baby, the fmc will get pregnant (SJM), if they go through a divorce the FMC will suddenly have every male after them (Laurel k Hamilton) ANY time characters suddenly start contradicting themselves or their behavior from previous books, take a look at what’s going on in the authors life and you can generally find a direct correlation.

I’m vegetarian because I’ve never liked meat. I’m okay with eggs (cooked in very specific ways) and some dairy, but I just don’t like meat.
I have to avoid unnecessary vitamins because of a kidney issue, so I can’t take a multivitamin or just take D3 or something just in case.
So twice a year my doctor has me do bloodwork to check my iron, vitamin D, and vitamin B12. That way if any of them are low I can either work on getting more in my diet or take supplements for it. Then when it normalizes I stop taking the supplements to protect my kidneys.
Assuming functional liver and kidneys, though, all vegans and veterinarians should take vitamin-D and B12 supplements and keep an eye on their iron (get it checked at least once a year).

That mom in the first story should have consulted a doctor before completely changing her diet. Also, animals don’t “produce” B-12. B-12 comes from bacteria and the only reason beef, for example, is so high in B-12 is from cows eating grass and subsequently licking dirt.

@@JamesDavy2009 I was pleasantly surprised to hear that so I went to the vegemite website. They have different varieties, so if you want the one that is fortified with B12 you need to check the label. It will help with b12 intake, but if you rely on it and don't take other sources of b12 you would need to eat a lot of it to meet the daily recommended intake. But maybe 4 servings of vegemite per day is normal to some people, lol. Taking a tiny tablet is easier.
When I said food sources I did not mean fortified products, because if those are included in the criteria then I think a lot of mock meats and plant milks would apply as well.

That said Humans have evolved to need certain vitamins, minerals and enzymes in our diets for our immune and central nervous systems to work properly. We get them from consuming animal products. These can be taken as supplements, but it's no where near as good as eating the foods themselves and of course are far far far more expensive. Some Vegans are starting to take a step back to vegetarianism and finding ethically sourced dairy products to get these vitamins and minerals.

This might have been true historically, but not in the modern era (last 20 years minimum). The only real difference between erotica and romance today is in the story. Romance typically has more plot and a happy ending. Sex is frequent and often explicit, but if you removed it there would still be a complete story. In erotica, the story exists to provide a framing device for the sex. If you removed the sex, there usually wouldn't be enough story left to be worthwhile. There are some subgenres without sex, like Christian Romance, but those aren't mainstream. Even stuff like Harlequin has explicit sex in it.

First story-I heard a story once from someone I know in the mental health field about a patient who had been diagnosed with psychosis, depression, panic disorder, and several other things, but none of the treatments worked. They finally see my friend, who listens to their symptoms and asks “when’s the last time you had bloodwork done?” because this person’s symptoms were in line with a severe B12 deficiency.
This patient had been bounced around with worsening symptoms for MONTHS. One IV later, they were fine.

Once the comment came in about vitamin D and B12 deficiencies having such adverse effects on a person, I knew I had heard this story before. It reminded me of a story on some current-affairs-style program I saw years ago with a slightly different but still relevant connection to this one, where this woman was incredibly weak and ill, to the point where her friends/carers (I don't remember which) had to feed her cooked fish because it was one of the few, if not only, things soft enough for her to eat.
Guess what she had a severe intolerance or allergy to?
She herself revealed a while later that she was intolerant to the fish she was being fed.

I also suffered from severe B12 deficiency. I still do suffer a bit but I can think so much more clearly and remember things better, have more energy and less negative emotions when I take the vitamins regularly. Ur brain in a fog and trying to learn anything is almost impossible.

Some of the complaints on the first story sound like OP just doesn't like his wife. "She refuses to eat gluten," like?? A vegan diet doesn't include gluten, so that checks out.
