I've lost 55 lbs lately and my stomach was shaped and firm like a basketball. Now it really soft but still big, I just suppose it takes time. 73 years old and getting better!
I really liked how you started with sleep, hydration, and diet before even getting to working out. Most people jump to getting a gym membership before tackling your first 3 steps.
Sleeping is by far the most important factor here. I saw a video that shows a study where 2 groups ON THE SAME DIET, had to go through a series of exercises. The only difference between them was that one group got to sleep 8 hours, the other 6 or less. The sleep deprived group lost 55% LESS fat and they also lost much more fat-free mass (muscle) than the group which got enough sleep. Sleeping at the correct time is also important. 10pm to 2am is when our body produce the most HGH hormone, the one that repairs our body.
I am on day 32, phase II of Fit Father. Never thought I could cut carbs from my diet, I still eat carbs under this plan but they're healthy carbs. Down 23.8 lbs but better than that is Dr. Anthony educates you on how to eat healthy. Trust me, I am never starving, this plan is life transformational.
Exactly! Complex carbohydrates are key. We need those for energy. There's entirely too much focus on overdoing protein and people forget that proteins turn to stored fat in our bodies just like too many carbs/sugars.
Insomnia is usually self induced. If could be because you sit up late on your phone, eat late, stay out late, drink alcohol, smoke, and have an inconsistent sleep/wake schedule. Reduce time in front the of TV/PC/Phone before bed. Stop eating 2 hours before bed. Turn off the lights in the house, use an eye mask if you have to. Try using a box fan for the noise, it puts your brain to sleep. Stop sleeping in. Start waking up at an appropriate time. Like 7am, you can even try 5:00am if you learn to get in bed by 9pm. Don't sleep no later than 8am at the most. Most importantly, if you do these quit. Quit smoking. Quit Drinking. I wake up to cardio every morning at 4:30am. Going strong.
I still have my health and workout magazines from the 1970's and I remember in one of them it said a Man will add 30 pounds of fat to his gut by the time he is in his 50's! I was a teen back then and said wow that cant be! Well now nearly 5 decades later I can tell you its true! I went from 160 to 260 in 45 years, its was gradual increase about 2 pounds a year on average.
As for measuring the belly, I still have my weightlifting belt I bought in 1976, back then I had to add extra notches in it to make it tight enough on heavy lifts, now it doesn't even reach around my belly. I will use that as a measurement tool as I try to reduce this belly fat.

Happened me too. I was a thin 170 in 1970, but 245 in 2008. Im 6’4. Got back to 190 by 2012. Stayed there for 10 years now, but it’s very hard. Im 69 with a 37 year old woman.
Well, I can drink water, the stress part "take me out of school" Eat clean I cannot do I have been eating unhealthy since I was born, so it will be hard. Again the sleeping part, I'm a night owl, The exercise part wouldn't be so hard if I wasn't so lazy ;-;
Just 5 years ago, I was training almost everyday in the gym, had a great six-pack and very little fat anywhere!! Personal stuff got in the way of training (family deaths, divorce, moving, etc) and my training went out the window. I ended up with this bloat and it was as though my 30+ years of gym work, never existed. It can be demotivating to say the least. But now I know the requirements to get back to shape, this video has been motivational. Thank you.
You have a great base, it won’t be difficult to get back, but don’t allow too much time to lapse or that visceral fat will develop and cause further complications. I recently dropped 55lbs and 10% in 3 months and am on target for 70 and 15-20% by 5 months…Good luck and many blessings!
What a simple easy way to understand visceral fat! I’m doing an 8 week challenge starting nextweek and a part of the challenge win is “most visceral fat loss” but I don’t know what that is until watching this vid! Thank you and wish me luck 🤞🏽😁
It's all about what you eat! Intermittent fasting Cut off sugar food and drinks Low on carbs Meal prep High protein and healthy fat Hitting workout Weights
Derrick Martinez I agree, but here is an example (me) - I eat very healthy and I’m active.... and one day, almost overnight - boom - a fat gut - I tried Keto and everything you can imagine as far as healthy eating and exercising... After a month - close to zero effect. I’ve lost 8 pounds but the inches on the waste line did not move. So, I have nice legs and arms and an ugly gut. It’s called menopause and too much bad estrogen. So, now I’m loading on broccoli, nuts and seeds, D3, dandelion tea and abs exercise... Estrogen is a b$&*ch....
Btw, I only eat 20 grams of carbs and they are all from salads and small amounts of berries... boy, do I regret criticizing people for being overweight... apparently there is more to being fat - I am just beginning to learn about hormones...
@@SashaDeKasha Low carb diets are not necessary. Carbs are not evil. You need to be more well educated. Infact, carbs help kickstart your metabolism. Fat lost is based on your calories consumed vs your TDEE. A healthy balance of 40% carbs will do fine. Don't fall into the health scams. Eat less, move more. That's it. If you see weight gain on carbs, that's water weight. Increasing carbs slightly higher than used to will see temporary water weight increases. These extra pounds are only temporary as your body gets use to the increased hydration. The second part of carbohydrate means hydrate.
Sasha DeKasha I think you need to get measured by an MD. I’m in an obesity tx program and I have a huge stomach- but starting I had a visceral fat rating of 9. It’s now 8... my stomach went down some but it’s still large. You can’t see visceral fat it’s around your organs. Belly fat is actually different fat
Im on Keto with Intermittent fasting and i train 3 days a week for about 40 mins.Down from 110kg to 93.5kg in about 2 months..Feeling really good.just cut down the carbs and sugar ..1 to 2 meals a a day..works great for me.
@@hervisdaubeny2644 Sure..Basically i work a 4 days on and 4 days off 6am to 6pm. When i wakeup i drink black coffee with 2 sweetners and i dont have breakfast. During my working hours i have another black coffee on my tea break which is around between 8am to 10pm. When it comes to my lunch break at 2pm i have another black coffee with a little milk or sometimes unsweetned cocunut milk or almond milk, with a handful of roasted nuts..not too much just a little handful..or other days a might have a small leafy salad with little bit of nuts. Soon as i get home at 6pm ..I train at home with dumbbells and resistance bands for about 30 mins.I make sure a break into a sweat!. Then i would eat broccoli sprouts and salmon. To make my meal alot tasty i put my broccoli and cut sprouts in half in a food bag and pour Extra virgin olive oil (GOOD FATS IN THAT OIL) and sprinkle pink salt or rock salt.I shake the bag and place it in the oven tray along with my salmon and roast it for about 15 to 20 mins. I make sure everyday i have broccoli sprouts or sometimes i add asparagus. The only thing that changes with my broccoli /sprouts etc is the salmon.Somedays i eat a steak with my veg.. or beef burgers with fatty cheese (NO BREAD) Eat bacon with eggs all good fats that your brain needs. You get your carbs from veg..Those are the carbs you want.i always prepare food and its not hard.I cut up my veg and put it in a food bag ready for the next day..I always add olive oil! has plenty of fats!.Salmon has plenty of fats!. I repeat that everyday even on my days off. What speeds up the fat burning is the MCT oil and Apple cider vinegar!.2 table spoons of MCT oil and 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water.I add a teaspoon of tumeric poweder and pepper and i stir it. I drink that quick because it tastes kind of horrible! (you get use to it).I drink that before bed twice a week not everyday. Im actually not hungry because when you do eat fats it suppresses hunger and i can fast for longer without struggling.Coffee helps too when your fasting.Avoid milk as much as you can. Whats important is if you can fast longer then do it!.Also break a sweat exercising (while fasting) it boosts weight loss around your belly and love handles...Then eat.after that its just coffees before bedtime with cocanut milk or just normal milk. But remember when your not eating dont drink coffee with milk that will break your fast. You want to fast as long as you can to keep your insulin levels low. You can treat yourself to a desert twice a week.In a bowl i put a few cut up strawberrys with black berries and pour full fat extra thick cream in a bowl..May be a very tiny squirt of anchor whip cream to taste (not too much of the sugar). Since writing this im now 88.5kg from 110kg...and trust me be patient you will see the difference i pretty amazed at myself i got this far!. If you go out to a restuarant dont ruin your night.I go out every 2 or 3 weeks and i just eat crap because i know my body is fat adapted already and i dont put on weight.after 1 or 2 days i end up back into ketosis which is great.I try to deplete the crappy carbs after going out by fasting a whole day the next day. Also another note i take 1xOMEGA 3 fish oils a day(1 capsule) and zinc and magnesium with VIT D to help boost testo levels.Im 44yrs old and was over weight since my 20s..now i feel so light and have a flat belly feels good. Just be patient and it will work.Nothing worked for me before and now since following DR Berg on youtube..My life has practically changed.
So, how to lose Visceral fat? It's not as hard as you think because apparently it is no different than losing any type of fat. So thanks for watching this special video on visceral fat!
You have missed the point, what the Doc' was explaining is the subtle difference between the visceral & subcutaneous fats as in; VISCERAL fat, if left untreated WILL KILL YOU! Subcutaneous fat will not. Thus to burn the visceral fat you need to initially increase your hydration and sleep coupled with increased cardio. Whereas subcutaneous fat largely determines your age, fitness levels and genetics. Whilst reducing calorific intake will initially help, you are so very mistaken to think that by simply losing weight you will lose fat..WRONG! You do that and you are simply losing muscle and you need to increase both good quality protein and muscle in order to burn fat! 🏴
@@Dave_Cymru - Thanks for recapping the video in written form....we all needed that (Not!). Thanks for your incorrect assumption of what I, or others are thinking....we needed your assumptions (Not!), clarification (Not!) because you think you're so smart (Not!). My comment STANDS AS WRITTEN! If you'd like to listen to it again, you'll see that he confirms what I said, not once, but twice in the video. Feel free to go over-explain something to other people on other videos because you believe you know so much more than they do you arrogant, condescending, insecure Pr@*k! But before doing so, please learn all about sarcasm....although I doubt the written definition of it will help you truly understand what it is. Have a nice day!
Great information! I don’t know why so many people have to be negative! Keep up the good work spreading knowledge. Because there really are a lot of people who just don’t know this stuff at all....
Track calories with an app For a week if you don’t loose any weight take out 100 calories try again for a week until you are losing some weight not to fast though like 5 lbs a week is a little fast. Weigh your self every day same time naked if you can. Track that weight so you can start to see if your calorie intake is allowing you to loose weight. Hold on to muscle. Make sure you are resistance training. Resistance train sends a signal to your body that we cannot pair down muscle because we are using muscle on a consistent basis. So then your body will not pair down the muscle if you use it. Use it or lose. It turns out it’s true. Prioritize protein. Your muscles need protein in order to maintain or grow try to get 1 g per pound of bodyweight. I say 1 g because it’s easy to remember if I weigh 200 pounds I need 200 g of protein I may not always get 200 g of protein but it’s very easy to do the math. Also, protein is Number one for filling full. You can do it !
I read something from Dr Michael Mosely that when we lose weight the body takes it from visceral fat first- it like the first fat the body burns. However also he warned that even someone who does not appear fat can have Viceral fat! He was one person like this and that it’s important to eat well and exercise regardless how you look on outside
I do agree that people who do not appear fat can still have visceral fat. And visceral fat is highly linked to inflammation (both causative and reactive)... so eating healthy foods is ESSENTIAL to reduce inflammation and keep the body in an optimal state! Great comment & additions, Macflod :-)
I went on intermittent fasting in order to lose weight and visceral fat. Now I ve lost weight . But I'm suffering from amenorrhea. ,☹️😭 Now I'm eating like earlier. In order not to go into infertility.
It really is very possible for most everyone to make great progress in their health. It is challenging, but very much possible. It really starts with a mind that says “Ok, I’m ready to make something happen now”. Then, as he stated sleep and all the others. Start with just 15 mins to 30 mins a day moving something and having some fun with it. Don’t go all out boot camp on yourself because that’s a motivational killer. You can’t do so much at once. It will take some time, so just enjoy the ride and have a good time seeing the changes in the way your clothes fit and how you can time your shoes without getting out of breath. I am a personal trainer and I love watching people overcome. Hi fives all around the room for everyone!!!!
Thats about the size of it, i've lost 192LBS in the last 30 months buy cutting out the crap, calorie counting and intermittent fasting every 3 days.... there are no instant fixes, once you get your head around the fact it will take a while it becomes easier!!
Re-cyclops 192lbs??? Thats awesome! I just started my journey of fasting and following keto a month ago. The first week was pretty ugly but it gets better. I already feel better both mentally and physically.
Joseph De Santos I lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks. I do the 18:6 intermittent fasting and I’m really active walking at least 4-5 miles a day, basketball 4 hours a week and bowling 2-3 times a week as well as a strict diet. I personally think it depends on how bad you want to loose weight!!!
Exactly. These things seem obvious enough, I was hoping he'd give some examples of useful exercises for reducing visceral fat, instead of simply just saying "yeah, you should do workout in general". Like, I know it's gonna be different for everybody, but some more detailed tips would be nice.
@@nob2243they don’t exist. You can’t spot reduce visceral fat. His number 1 tip being proper sleep is actually more important for fat loss than people realize. When losing weight, if you don’t get proper sleep, more of your lost weight is likely to be muscle tissue. That’s the exact opposite of what you went when trying to reduce visceral fat levels
Vibration plates are amazing. I sat on the vibration plate on a low setting, full body vibration and after 40 minutes I lost 10 lbs. Lost water weight n visceral fat via lymphatic drainage. Amazing. I have diabetes n are trying to cure it. Blood sugar goes down faster n stay lower longer after a long workout.
Now I know why my great uncles stomach was always so hard. He had visceral fat. He had a bypass at one point and ended up with kidney disease from drinking so much. Please take care of yourselves
I have been concerned with my belly fat over the last 6 months. I have a high belly bulge and didn't fully understand why my fat placement had changed until now. Thanks for the informational video.
Visceral fat comes after a fatty liver can't hold anymore. Keto with 18/6 intermittent fasting, working out at 14 to 17 hours of your fast will put things right. Electrolytes and nutrients are essential but worth it. The sub fat is the last to burn off. I was 320 lbs 30 months ago today 195.
I learn how fat is actually burn. Fat evaporates from the heavy breathing when you're out of breath. So just do things he said in this video eat less and stay out of breath much as possible
i m just 40 ..just came across abt visceral fat which is actually true n it takes time to get rid off .. but i hve alredy got high pressure prediabetic n wat i m alredy on carb deficit mode.. but the way he explained is very true.. NO VISCERAL FATS ty doc but if u wanna give any concern i mentioned .. wud highly appreciate ..
I weighed 278 and lost 70 pounds on a low carb diet without any exercise. I feel my body has shrunk dramatically but I still have a belly! Especially when I sit down or lay on my side. It's obviously not as big as before but I imagined it would be flatter ..... considering I'm only about 30 pounds away from the ideal weight for my height! It seems like I will reach my goal weight but still have a belly ...

Fat cells are not just 'storage containers'. Fat is an organ that is metabolically active. It triggers and responds to hormone release. Fat is particularly sensitive to serum insulin levels. It is not toxic and dangerous in and of itself.
Plain old fashioned message retold but our brains and tastebuds refuse to listen. Eat more vegetables, Eat less sugar, Eat a healthy diet, Drink More water, Get enough Sleep, EXERCISE, reduce stress. How many of us have heard this but do not listen.? Easier said than done in the heat of the moment. good luck everyone ....and don't give up.
It's acceptable to have some excess padding around your stomach, but it's understandable to desire to firm up for a slimmer appearance. While reducing all of your belly fat in two weeks is unrealistic, you can drop some of it rapidly by losing weight and body fat throughout your body. For the following two weeks, all you have to do is consume the correct foods (while also decreasing calories), increase your exercise program, and make a few lifestyle modifications. Maintain your efforts to lose even more abdominal fat over time!
I've already lost weight now I need to lose the belly fat. I think a lot of it is bloating. I've notice when I'm not so bloated my stomach is down. Thanks for sharing. Great advice that I will use.
Wow! Thankyou So much for sharing this. I really appreciate the honesty and information. I do a lot of research to find good information on my new journey towards health and fitness and this was right up there. So thank you and bless you guys
Inflammation is the thing that will shorten your life. The very last person I saw have a massive heart attack in the ED/ER I work in was very thin. The guy was only in his 40's but he smoked 30 a day (very inflammatory!), and he could have well had plenty of visceral fat which you simply wouldn't see. Exercise is anti-inflammatory, just ask any cardiologist. Burn you visceral fat reserves with exercise, don't smoke, and have a good omega 3 to 6 ratio in your diet and you will be good. A bit of fasting to kick in the Ketosis doesn't hurt either. Stress is really bad for inflammation from what I've read, and this fits as most of the 100+ year old patients I see all seem to have the same happy relaxed disposition. I'm pretty much screwed as a chronic anxiety sufferer. You can only do your best :)
The Art of Photons Interesting. Everyone thinks that thin=healthy. I’ve seen thin ppl gorge fast food/candy/being sedentary/smoking, but bcuz they’re thin, they don’t get ostracized. On the other hand, I’ve seen overweight ppl exercise like crazy and try to avoid carbs/fat/sugar, and it’s an uphill battle. To me, it’s not natural when I see celebs/doctors/fitness experts tell ppl to live off green leafy veggies for the rest of their lives! By the time you cut out carbs/meats/sugar/gluten/dairy/fat/salt, WTF is there left to eat??!!
I honestly think if you eat un processed food such as oily fish a couple of times a week to get omega 3, plus veg, a bit of fruit, nuts, seeds, pulses, whole grain rice, sweat potato etc, and don't eat takeaways, cake, sweats/candy and the like, plus exercise a few times a weeks things on average should be fine. There are genetics that you can't do anything about, but we can only do the best with what we have. There are some health channels that only promote eating raw meat, or the other extreme only fruit, but I honestly believe the answer is somewhere inbetween, a balanced diet and no processed junk. E.g I'd rather have a glass of water than soda any day of the week. Soda tastes like it's killing you.
Intense exercise has a net inflammatory effect, e.g. if you really push yourself to the limits, but studies have shown moderate exercise to be beneficial. I won't spoon feed you the studies on exercise and inflammation, Google is at your fingertips if you want to find out more :)
Great video. I noticed a little guy making a muscle with his Father! My son is 51, concrete specialist and in great shape. His son, my Grandson is 1 1/2 years old. I think this would be great for my Grandson. I’m trying to get rid of that visceral fat. Only 7 lbs. Thanks for the tips on drinking that amount of water. Thank You!
A friend of mind was up to 500lbs in weight, he went to omad, lost 19lb in the first week, with zero Exercise and 11lb the second week with no exercise. The body only needs one meal a day....at very most. If people could control their emotions around food and “thinking” they need three meals plus snacks then there wouldn’t be this obesity problem across the western world.
Just remember one thing: Nature designed us to be on the go to get food. This sedentary lifestyle we all lead is, biologically, an anomaly. We can make up for it with equipment like standing desks, seated ellipticals, cardio on your lunch break, or just the odd 10 minute break to walk around. There's literally so many options to get your circulation going.
I'm 52, i had a heart attack in January, with no high cholesterol and no high blood pressure, one minute I'm on my treadclimber and the next I'm in an ambulance, I do have a lot of visceral fat. and inflammation according to my anti-aging doctor, I intermittent fast for 18 hours a day but in not losing any weight, I do eat a lot of carbs

I'm 35 with 3 kids and after having my son 15 months ago my belly still looked pregnant and full of fat, I've been doing dance aerobics, quit foods that are white, only drink water it's been 30 days I've lost 12lbs and lost and inch off my waist. The belly has got smaller but it's still shaped like a pregnant belly. It's only been a month, can't wait to see what 3 months in will look like, then 6 months and so forth 😊
stop eating sugar. No Pop. No candy, No alcohol. No desserts/pies-cakes. Replace your fluids with water. This is the first part. Then WALK 30 minutes a day. Stop eating red meat. Replace with salads, egg whites. no oil no butter. This will help you lose some weight
@@felixfelix7447 Good luck, if you can add some weight training every other day it will build muscle. Muscle burns fat faster than cardio. I would still do your 30 minute walk, replace all fluids with water. You will pee a lot, but your system will thank you because you are cleansing it. Stay hydrated. Plant based diet if you can swing it. The hard part is giving up sugar. I would toss out all your your breakfast cereals, candy, and pop. Egg whites are really filling about 17 calories and loaded with protein. If you must eat meat, grilled chicken or salmon. Avoid hamburger, steak. it is not good for the arties. Take little steps. One day at a time. Drink water when you get a craving for candy, or eat an apple. Avocados are a great source for fat.
I’ve been working out, but it’s been hard seeing so little results in this one area. My legs are getting trim, my hips, my back, and even the sides of my waist, but my stomach is still large. The one change is that it has gone from firm to a softer consistency.
Same happenng with me.. i lost around 6 kgs m now 60 .. toned from almost all the areas of my body except front section of my belly even side waist is also toned.. someone pls tell what to do?
Thank you! My husband and I are overweight. We are not huge, but we have gained enough to start to worry. I began juicing yesterday. I started the celery juice, but didn't have awful effects as some say you get. It may take me a few days to expect that. I am 42 and do not have a gallbladder. Hey Kas, thanks for writing in and great question! Unfortunately, a procedure might be the only way to remove excess fat from Lipedema. However, exercising and eating right is still important to create a strong foundation for post-procedure, while also helping aid in the recovery process. While not always correlated, those with Lipedema are oftentimes already overweight so working on what you can will only help expedite the process of returning to a baseline frame. -The FFP Team

I recommend the carnivore diet and after four weeks start to incorporate a “keto friendly“ diet ie. You're talking too much... Nature is easier...stop eating all day. Intermittent fasting is key. Easy and it's what our ancestors did naturally, when food was scarce. OMAD is good for after you loose weight and you'll feel better for it. Don't try and mess with nature. Too much of anything or not enough is were it matters. Balance is were it's at.
Our ancestors fasted naturally, indeed, but our ancestors also exercised. They didn't have televisions and computers. They had to walk kilometers for their food. So it's not just intermittent fasting, it's also physical exercise.
For me, the formula is intermittent fasting and more recently, Carnivore. I just don't need to eat every day as I'm not very active at all so this way has helped me lose over 100 lbs and easily. The Carnivore just made it sooooooooo much better. It solved all of my digestive issues and totally eliminated my cravings. I'll never go back! I'm 66 and hopefully heading for 96, lol!
Loving this info! Was watching to share with my 42-yo male partner, but I’m looking forward to applying some of this to myself. Thank you! Any info for females?

Kata Bang Zul try glamour beauty sleep. Really works no grogginess
There is something that you can drink to help you sleep. It's called Sleepytime Tea. It's where the herbal tea's are. But you need to make it strong.

Could you give a more in-depth breakdown of your diet please?
@@hervisdaubeny2644 Sure..Basically i work a 4 days on and 4 days off 6am to 6pm.
When i wakeup i drink black coffee with 2 sweetners and i dont have breakfast.
During my working hours i have another black coffee on my tea break which is around between 8am to 10pm.
When it comes to my lunch break at 2pm i have another black coffee with a little milk or sometimes unsweetned cocunut milk or almond milk,
with a handful of roasted nuts..not too much just a little handful..or other days a might have a small leafy salad with little bit of nuts.
Soon as i get home at 6pm ..I train at home with dumbbells and resistance bands for about 30 mins.I make sure a break into a sweat!.
Then i would eat broccoli sprouts and salmon. To make my meal alot tasty i put my broccoli and cut sprouts in half in a food bag and pour Extra virgin olive oil (GOOD FATS IN THAT OIL)
and sprinkle pink salt or rock salt.I shake the bag and place it in the oven tray along with my salmon and roast it for about 15 to 20 mins.
I make sure everyday i have broccoli sprouts or sometimes i add asparagus. The only thing that changes with my broccoli /sprouts etc is the salmon.Somedays i eat a steak with my veg.. or beef burgers with fatty cheese (NO BREAD)
Eat bacon with eggs all good fats that your brain needs.
I can promise you that Johnny English knows what he is talking about. I have an almost identical regimen and Its worked for me too.

2:31 - video summary - do what will lose fat in general and you will lose visceral fat.
So, how to lose Visceral fat? It's not as hard as you think because apparently it is no different than losing any type of fat. So thanks for watching this special video on visceral fat!
Hahahahaha so true! Was rather pointless in the end. Lol
Read my mind. Annoying

Great video but I may add that refined sugar is a key player as well . Fruit is a great alternative for cravings

I've done all the checklist you mention and more and lost 25 pounds, but NOT, apparently, of visceral fat. My stomach remains large.
Erm exercise is actually inflammatory it tares muscle tissue if you exercise your muscles.
Intense exercise has a net inflammatory effect, e.g. if you really push yourself to the limits, but studies have shown moderate exercise to be beneficial. I won't spoon feed you the studies on exercise and inflammation, Google is at your fingertips if you want to find out more :)
The Art of Photons wrong. Inflammation is your body’s way of healing itself

I’ve been working out, but it’s been hard seeing so little results in this one area. My legs are getting trim, my hips, my back, and even the sides of my waist, but my stomach is still large. The one change is that it has gone from firm to a softer consistency.
💪
Keep going, its clearly working. 👍👍👍

Thank you! My husband and I are overweight. We are not huge, but we have gained enough to start to worry. I began juicing yesterday. I started the celery juice, but didn't have awful effects as some say you get. It may take me a few days to expect that. I am 42 and do not have a gallbladder. Maybe I will have different experiences since it has been gone since I was 18. My husband walks a lot since he is a security officer, and he skips out on sugars more, but has a "beer belly" and can't lose weight. He also has a umbilical hernia. Any suggestions for him @Fit Father Project - Fitness For Busy Fathers?

Thanks for your guide.
I literally only have fat around my belly. Even when I was an athlete, my belly was a trouble area.
If that's the case, you most likely need to focus on cleaning up your diet. We have a FREE 1-day meal plan that will give you healthy meals to help lose the belly fat. Access the meal plan here:

It is very hard for me to lose my belly fat. Thanks for the tips in this video.
I went from 150lbs to 120lbs by intermittent fasting, water fasting, and strength training along with cardio 5x a week. I eat a pretty clean diet. I am happy to be losing weight, but my stomach is still as big as ever and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. 😕

How does this work for those with Lipedema or Dercum’s Disease?
Hey Kas, thanks for writing in and great question! Unfortunately, a procedure might be the only way to remove excess fat from Lipedema. However, exercising and eating right is still important to create a strong foundation for post-procedure, while also helping aid in the recovery process. While not always correlated, those with Lipedema are oftentimes already overweight so working on what you can will only help expedite the process of returning to a baseline frame.

Can a doctor scan me so I can find out how much visceral fat I have left? Because I want to eat carbs again. Lmaooo.
Edit: Oh never mind. He answered my question at 2:20. Yay! Skskskks
I went straight carnivore for 1 month, I lost 8kg without any exercise. If you want to loose fat without even trying. I recommend the carnivore diet and after four weeks start to incorporate a “keto friendly“ diet ie. (nuts, non starchy vegetables a little bit of dairy, avoid seed oils like vegetable and canola oil at all costs, I’ve kept the weight off, all my inflammatory diseases went away and I feel 100%
Awesome 💪
Why do we need 3 meals in the first place?
you don't
If you don't you could go on starvation mode which dosen't help you and 3 meals is a miminum
TH-cam Bot I disagree.
@@sauraphaganax guess what "sTaRvAtIoN mOdE" does? IT BURNS FAT
Those who say belly fat is general fat has no idea at all…your body will shrink but belly won’t go. There is some different approach required we don’t know it. May be bacteria, environmental reason, stress or any other thing
Discovered you yesterday and love your videos. That piece of equipment behind you to the left...seated leg extension...can you share the brand? Thank you!
Hey Christina, thanks for writing in! Hoist is the brand though there are so many comparable ones on the market these days, you probably can't go wrong with any of them. Best of luck and thanks for watching!

So many people ignore sleep and stress as factors in weight loss and it’s so important for it and overall health!
Absolutely 👍
7 hours sleep-- does that need to be consecutive or can it be cumulative?
Sleep is best when it's uninterrupted and all chunked together.
-The FFP Training Staff
We always recommend getting 7-8 uninterrupted, consecutive hours of sleep. But more hours of sleep in chunks is better than no sleep!

200 pound person should take in 100 ounces of water or 3 liters per day minimum ! 👍
A lot of water. What does water drinking do exactly and reference to the viscular fat I don't understand?
Thanks for your video! Humans pay the price for having excessive fat. I easily understood that I was overweight - my BMI was 26.
I really had problems that this PRACTICAL HEALTH channel speaks of. Thanks to its explanatory videos I shed 15 kg and really feel younger! My sleep and mood become better!
Awesome my friend! YW 🙏
Awesome keep up the good work it will help so much😁
Thank you! I appreciate your compliment 🙏
I love you kid I hope you have the salvation of the Lord your a lovely person the day of the Lord is at hand🙏
Thank you very much 🙏
For me, the formula is intermittent fasting and more recently, Carnivore.
