I chose kw and joined an expansion team. Started at a small boutique brokerage then the whole brokerage went to exp realty. Now I’m at Kw and couldn’t be any happier!
Thanks for your insight on the company you chose. I am ready to take my license exam in a week. I am still shopping companies, it's good to hear about one of my options on here. Have a Great Day!
Great information!!! I am getting ready to schedule my exam in Nashville, I'm in Clarksville and have been researching different brokerage's. This video helped me a lot!! Do you have any tips for the exam?
Wendy you need to realize that you will be paying the startups immediately so bring a check to on boarding. You will pay initiation fees for almost everything you sign up for like MLS. Its not cheap and if your in coaching you probably are going to pay more than you realize on your first couple transactions.
@Rob's TH-cam Im not suggesting KW is anything. She asked what the start up fees were and I told her for what my office was which though independent from hers may be similar to what they would experience.
@Rob's TH-cam I was with KW. But am no longer active. Still have license but its in referral status so I can still refer people to other agents and make money that way.
did you joined a team first or began independent? also did you started right away as a full time employee or part time. I just got my license and KW is recruiting me, dont know what to do since I have a job that pays very good, Idk if I should just quit and become a full time or start part time
I would say don’t quit ur job just because even if you join the team you won’t sell ur first house until like 2 months or so. But ppl do say not to make real estate as a part time thing and that it need all ur attention!
My situation is the same as yours….My FT job pays very well, I’m starting out PT at KW and according to how things go, and if the market continues to do well, my goal is to be a FT agent within the next 3-5 years…..many of the agents who are able to jump in FT, they are either not happy with their previous career and/or don’t have a great income.
@@ilovekandii214 Hey Julie! I love it soo far. KW provides free weekly/monthly/yearly training to help you become a better salesperson. Everyone I’ve met so far has been willing to help me and answer all my questions. Definitely recommend joining KW if you’re a new agent!
Depending on state and using my situation as an example, it can cost you anywhere between 700-1200 just to get started between KWs startup all other things needed to be done before you really get started, plus they take 200 for a security deposit. Then you need to pay for your MLS fees depending which you join. Mine was 250 just to sign up and then 120 a quarter after that. Then you need to pay your realtor fees. Now My KW requires it. Not sure if that is equal at all states or not but Mine cost 575 per year. This is all due essentially when you onboard. Desk fees which vary from broker to broker mine is 87 a month. Then you have transaction fees like coaching fees if youre in the program and commission split and franchise fee. It's not cheap and alot of people don't realize the cost before they join.
Hi, Thanks for posting your experience. I am wondering what results you have obtained by choosing this brokerage i.e. have you sold any houses and do you still stand by your recommendations?
how much flexibility does KW allow with branding and designing your own logo, cards, etc. Is it always one of their templates or can you design it as long as it has "KW" on their somewhere?
@@michelecormier9513 Do you have to come to the office can you work remote. I just got my license and I want to work remote as I have a Main Career and job
@@royalgreenlantern Hello Keenan and Congratulations on getting your license! Each office is independently owned by brokers so the rules will apply differently for every office. I work remotely and classes are offered by Zoom or recorded to watch later. Some of the coaches have night classes to practice script training. You are assigned a coach, I ask questions via texting and if it's something more visual I need then I see her in person. My best advice to anyone interested in Real Estate is to visit SEVERAL brokerages across different brands and go for the one that feels good to you, aligns with your values and learning style. Best of luck and I wish everyone Prosperity in their careers in the New Year!

your linkin says not available and you need to clean up your instagram because it does not look like real estate agent profile at all. you really need to clean up your social media

Did keller williams charge anyone a $200 fee along with their employment application?
I have interviewed with them and yes there is a 200.00 joining fee.

Hey Ana! I just received a recruiting email from KW. Did you end up choosing them, if so how are you liking it? 💓
70/30 split with an additional 6% is still the best by far
The 70/30 and 6% has a yearly cap so there's a good chance you'll get 100% after the cap if you do enough volume in a year.
@@blockshakerKW gets the 70?
@@ryantrone4140no, the 30.
