Thank you so much for the video. I managed to disable the working fob as I accidentally pressed the button on it first than the non working one, lol. I got it working by watching another video. One thing to note is this worked for me by pressing the 'Lock' button only. Whereas your video says any button which didn't work. Could be because mine is a Zetec and yours appears to be a Titanium.
Mega useful my fob died for no reason, spent about two weeks unlocking with the key and triggering the alarm when someone opened the door before I got the key in the ignition 🤣🤣
Thanks for the video. Some cheeky little git got into my MK4. They didn't take anything, but I assume they intercepted the radio signal. Do you know if reprogramming my key like this will lock them out?
I have the blade and the chip but the original key the remote it’s not working anymore . How can I copy the remote without having a remote ? I have Xhorse

Hey there quick question, my mondeo lay fir a few weeks waiting on brakes to be fixed, battery died and immobiliser active came up, replaced battery but nothing, my husband got it going but I drove it and after fuelling up the immobiliser came back on, and noticed that key I had stopped working, the other key opens it but car still won't start, is that a key problem? Would this work to start the car again? Money is tight just now but I need the car running again, if you have advice let me know thank you
I just need to be clear which key is being programmed. The one in the ignition or the one in your hand. I've tried this with the existing (original) key in the ignition and nothing happens. Otherwise its a great video. I've already subscribed. Many thanks 🙂
I'm only getting to the beep after the 4 turns off the key but nothing after ordering the remote button. I got a message saying key better low so I changed it. Now I can't get my central locking buttons working.
Never mind. Turns out the sticker was still on the back of the battery😂😂. In my defense the dash gave me a warning of low battery so if there was practically no battery I would have expected some kind of warning. Anyway. Didn't even need to reprogram it in the end.

A second hand key will work, Although you would have to program transponder chip to be able to start engine.

Yes I suspect key problem, and may require reprogramming

Both keys were being programmed for central locking. If you only program 1, the other is cancelled out.

If i buy a new flip key, cut the blade like old one and program it like this it will start the car or need immo programing?
No transponder chip will require programming to your car

Yes you can. Although transponder chip will require programming to vehicle, before you can use it to start engine.

Ford told my dad it would cost £80 to reprogram his key, I just did it in 7 secs. Cheers bud
