- In this video you will see how you can upgrade the standard interior lighting of a MK4 Mondeo to LED's. This will make your car look a lot more modern. However I would advise in using good quality LED bulbs, because cheap quality bulbs have a tendency burn out after a month of use.

These days,much easier to find T10 led bulbs at any automotive retail stores.Can even find them in supermarkets too nowadays.Key is to look for good ones.I prefer the type thats practically made out of a circuit board design rather than the plastic body types.Those tend to warp from heat so don't last long.

I have a mk4.5 estate with "trend" equipment (that's like in the middle) and the car came with LED interior (on visors, reading lights, dome lights, boot light + rear lights and brake lights) and I've installed sequential black lens indicators on the wings and philips ultion front parking lights, but in my 5 years of owning the car I never thought to check if it had footwell lights until I saw your video... It has the holders 🤦♂️, but they were empty for some reason 🤷♂️... Put in a pair of uprated LEDs and they shine bright like a diamond 😂 ... So thanks bruh 💪
The last bulb is for the center light on my English model it fit the center light wot you did first

When putting led bulbs on the interior lights on the roof trim they glow slightly even when off. Its annoyingly visible at nighttime. What could cause this?
Does the red reflector thing in the front doors have a bulb in them from the factory?
Also i wouldnt purchase these cheap style leds that come in pouches like that, they sure might be a bit brighter than lets say philips ultinon, or osram bulbs, but at least osram and philips last years.

Did you find out where that last one bulb goes ? I ordered LEDs for mine but unlike you they actually screwed me on the big one - didn't get any. So do I need only one for the trunk or that one extra you have left is also needed for some reason ?

no different type of bulb they are simular to the ones in the footwell

My Mondeo Mk4 (estate) has a festoon in the front interior light set (with a T10/W5W either side)... looks like yours has 3 the same 👍

Can’t find it in the car, or to buy online? On mine the festoon is front & centre. I think it’s a 42mm fro memory but you could Google it to check. Halfords sell them in LED or you can buy on AliExpress for cheaper

Hi there. I think I have seen those with the huge screen on aliexpress. I have very little experience with those so I wont be much of a help. All I can say is you should look for one that has good reviews from other customers so that you know that the product has been tested by others and that it workd good.
