Hey Paul, i just bought the DAB version of the radio that you took out of your car to replace my dead Travelpilot FX. Am i going to have to get extra bits to get it to work?
If your Mondeo was never equipped with DAB. You will need to fit DAB+ Antenna amplifier to rear tailgate - Part Number BS7T-18C847-AB, with associated wiring, to get DAB to work.
Cable and plug for BT module if equipped, should be above glove box (you will have to remove glove box to access it) If wiring not present, you can do a retrofit, or replace complete dashboard wiring loom for one with BT

Hey Paul! I've got a Mondeo but i don't have Bluetooth, but the BT module is there. Where can I find the cable or can I buy a cable to the module?

@@PaulsTechChannel Where can I buy a factory BT cable? I couldn't find it anywhere on Ebay or I found one, but is it compatible with the VW Golf?
@@Pollen1203 For BT the wiring is part of main dashboard wiring looms. It's not a separate cable
