It’s not surprising that other surviving hominids would retain a tradition of avoiding man like the plague; it’s the difference between life and annihilation.

Just the other day I was walking through the woods and saw a Bigfoot so I immediately whipped out my potato and snapped a fuzzy blob.
I also collected a sample of hair that got stolen by men in black suits who appeared in the middle of the night.

That is interesting. Could you speak more on the Yeti/Sasquatch/etc., being the original human? This is reminiscent to me of the inference by North American native tribes, the fossil record, and scientific research, substantiating the existence of a, "first man," who initially populated the Americas. Said to be Cro-Magnon or Neanderthal-like in constitution and stature, and to have evidence of massive injuries to the bone remains indicating that, throughout its lifetime, he would have had to have survived and withstood many life-threatening injuries that would have been sufficient to end the life of a modern proto humanoid like ourselves today.
These people are said sometimes to have been of Continental African origins, or more commonly understood as the first wave of migration across the Bearing Straight. Followed nearly twenty thousand years later by the current population of native peoples scatterer out upon the American Continents. These second wave humans were said to have at least in part bred with these original humans that has made native Americans genealogically distinct from their East Asian roots.
      Interesting concept.

@@timothyodaniell9119 idk if you've heard about the konyak headhunter tribe of nagaland, but in one of their villages there is an old large wooden carving made of a large tree of unknown dating, they said it was made by a founder of their village a long time ago which they cannot pin point, but the thing which is peculiar about this carving was that i contained carvings of ape like creatures slowly stage by stage carved and looking more human like each stage and the locals claimed that their forefathers told them tales of how men were once apes and slowly became modern men, this is absolutely crazy because Darwins theory of evolution would not have reached this remote village whenever this thing was carved, so it might possibly predate darwins theory of evolution as a whole. for all we know the carving could be 300-1000 years old.

I'm from southern India, but when I visited the Northeastern states I heard a lot of folklore, especially in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, I also remember hearing folklore describing a UFO hovering over the Mountains and recently there were news reports with several video proofs and eye witness of a UFO spotting in Imphal over Manipur's capital city but I vanished as soon as the Indian Airforce scrambled it's fighter jets
You can still find a lot of news reports regarding this, just go on Google and type 'UFO in Manipur'
here are some headlines "Air Force scrambled Rafales after 'UFO' sighting near Imphal airport", "‘Unidentified flying object’ sighted at Imphal airport; flight operations disrupted"
some people do say that it could be a Chinese weather (spy) balloon or drone, but it was moving like crazy so it's a bit of a mystery

He told me how things like the kraken were though to be myths since ancient times, and it was only 20 years ago we proved the Giant Squid actually exists. Some years ago I took a class from a well respected forensic anthropologist, as in, he sometimes canceled class because the FBI had called him in to consult and look over human remains that their own forensic teams couldn't figure out. The guy was good, and he was always willing to meet after class and tell stories or answer questions, so long as the meeting was in a bar and you were buying. Consequently, I hung out with this prof a number of times and talked to him about a number of subjects, including the Shipton photos from the 50s. Finger and footprints weren't necessarily my old professor's speciality, but he knew more about the traces and signs of hominids than most people on earth. His verdict on the Shipton photos: 100%, no doubt, genuine. Even the very best fakers wouldn't have been able to reproduce some of the details that can be seen in those photos; they are undoubtedly from actual bipedal locomotion through snow. Arguments from authority are inherently fallacious, of course, but I got more than that, I got a very logical argument from an authority on the subject, and I've been a believer ever since.

If one gets found, they will bring their guns and weapons to kill off another species like they did to countless others. I kind of like the idea that China has Tibet. If it was with India, we would have signed a deal with some capitalist from Mumbai and built tourist resorts there where people from the cities and across the world come to drink and smoke. These are our holy places. The more unnecessary public is kept away, the better. Let the Gurus or the Yetis stay where they are. It is a place to find wisdom and meaning of life not a party capital. Uttarakhand and Himachal has gone to the dogs. All you find is Israeli smokers & drinkers stoned everywhere. We need to build separate places for tourism and holy pilgrimage sites.

The himalayas are a deathtrap for humans, even for the most well prepared, and only a few native people are regularly hiking in these mountain ranges, so yeah. Just think of the Okapi. It lived in the densely forested heart of the Congo and was for the longest time considered a myth. Until it was actually found.

It hasn't evaded human contact, the locals know of it and come into contact with it. The only issue here is because the human isn't western or white and so therefore the usual dismissal is that either the native "witness" must have misidentified it, didn't actually see it, must have imagined it or the best one: the locals are superstitious. But if a white person says he saw something then their account must hold some truth and therefore there could be something to it, everyone else is lying. The funny thing is the locals who inhabit these areas since the beginning of time have been seeing these things for years now through countless generations and they even have local names for them, but nooooo, their accounts are not white enough and therefore not worthy of being believed, so they dismiss them as "myths and legends" to further add to the attempted discredit. Thank you for your thorough 2 episodes on the Yeti/Sasquatch creatures. You presented it factually, and ask all the right questions, without the added intentional mockery that mainstream sources saturate the topic with.
As someone who’s come face to face with a Sasquatch, knowing their existence to be a reality, I once again thank you for your accurate portrayal of some past history regarding the Yeti.
There’s been a lot more brought to light in recent years than discussed here, but if you’re not someone intentionally keeping up on the subject, you wouldn’t know these things since mainstream media doesn’t report on it unless they intentionally feel a need to mock the topic and those professionals bring out all the evidence now days. (And no, I’m not talking about the sham, knows as Finding Bigfoot tv show). All these tv shows are just money making projects that survive of the mockery of the topic itself. True, credible research and facts, are being discovered almost daily, but you will never hear of these facts on any tv show like “Finding Bigfoot”…. Just FYI.
Thanks again, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 👍

I'm willing to believe they're out there, why not?
Like, UFOs, they seem to have an association with the paranormal. To the point of even being actually associated directly with UFOs...
      Weird!
I dunno, but I love all this paranormal stuff. But of course, only because of personal experience. Once it happens, your mind's kind of blown from then on. 'Reality' ain't what we think it is...

A really interesting one too. I don't know if I believe the yeti exists but I think it's perfectly plausible in principle. There could be a rare primate species in remote regions. The Himalayas, after all, one of the most rugged and remote regions in the world, so if there could be some rare undiscovered animals somewhere, even quite large ones, that would be the place for them to be.

I have told this story before: Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania when I was about 10 and my sister 8 we were exploring the forest on our property behind our home in the mountains when we came upon what we even told our parents at the time was a Bigfoot. It was in a small clearing were maybe 3 apple trees remained in what was once an orchard, and it was picking apples right from the tree..We came within 30 feet before we realized it was there. It had its back to us, and it wasn't very tall, maybe 6', but being children we were scared and hid behind a large oak tree believing that if we can't see it, it can't see us. As I remember it kept its back to us the entire time and never acknowledged our presence
I don't know how long we hid, but when I eventually peeked it was gone. That was 40 years ago, and I'll swear this happened until the day I die.

  • @dramallamarama5300

Yeti stories are always fascinating, sniffing out the definite fakes from the more plausible is fun too.
A question I like to ask; if these creatures do exist, is do they chose to be more active on the mountains when it becomes too difficult for people to climb? Basically, are they aware of the ‘off-season’ and use those times of year to explore and forage in conditions too difficult for humans to disturb them. Hence why physical sightings are so rare, due to their aversion to people, heck with Everest being constantly full of people these days, any yeti that might have once lived there probably cleared out from the area decades ago.

This is Content creation at its best. A very well put together documentry, just epic. I am from North India, The Himalayas are vast and the reason why we have not been able to document a video or picture evidence of Yeti is simply because they do not want to be found. It is as simple as that. As mention in this series, the more we try to look for them, the further they go .
Contact will be made for sure, but will the person survive to tell about it is different story.

Now I want some form of collaboration with the channel Bob Gymlan, he's compiled a large number of Bigfoot encounter recountings where he discusses the plausibility of such creatures and has a video on the Yeti where he points out that the theoretical range of these creatures overlaps heavily with that of the Snow Leopards, and they are poached relentlessly every year, yet they are able to elude hunters so what does that say about an animal that's presumably more intelligent.

I thought it to be VERY interesting and very insightful into creatures like the Yeti and Bigfoot / Sasquatch. You can find the actual study, but hopefully, you don't mind my saying this, but you can also find a very well-done breakdown of the study by another TH-cam Creator, Bob Gymlan. It is very well done, in my opinion, and you will find it actually supports many of the conclusions you arrived at yourself at the end of this video.
