You just gain your 46th subscriber. I love BlackBerry. I started with the Q10, Z10, Passport, Classic, and now the PRIV... and looking forward for the KEYone. Making BlackBerry great again!! 😂 lol
Full Home Thank you for the support! BlackBerry has a special spot in my heart with the security and productivity. PRIV was good but the KEYone will make you forget about it. It's just all around better! Hope you get it soon!!
Honchou Racing Inc. lol I was being ironic. I do think the effects are a little cheesy/unnecessary, but if it fits your style, who am I to judge? On tihe review itself: the "this is just great" comments may have felt a bit forced, but that's actually how I think I'll react when I finally get a KEYone. You made me want the phone even more...
Wilson Sales lol Yeah when I watch it I feel the same way. I don't do reviews but I tried with the KEYone since I like the phone so much. I'm not even to an amateur level but I do recommend this phone for sure! You would love it, especially if you're into communications and productivity.
I too loved my PRIV but I don't miss the lag and heat it generated under heavy use. They've really done a great job with the KEYone but my only complaint is reception. When I get 1 or 2 bars my clients can't hear me. I can hear them just fine but all they get is every other word from me. My wife's iphone next to me has no problem, the PRIV didn't either. Not sure if you've experienced this but it's become a huge problem for me while on the road. P.S. Great video!
MrKbg70 I was with Rogers here in Canada with my KeyOne but left them because of dropped calls. You see Rogers has a Rogers network and a RogersEXT network which is their extended network and calls do not hand off between the two. I returned my Rogers KeyOne and switched to Bell Canada. Now the network is consistent but I still have low reception as I did with Rogers, I don't get the dropped calls I used to get with Rogers while driving. So I've had two KeyOne's on two networks and the one thing that is consistent is that my unlocked Note 4 had more bars and less trouble with clients not being able to hear me then the KeyOne. When I'm driving and have 1 bar I can hear but the caller can't hear me. If I switch the SIM to my Note 4 then zero problems. My wife is on Bell too and she can sit next to me and make calls on her iPhone 6 when I don't get reception. At home it's all good, on the road... I want my PRIV back, it had better reception. Bell agreed to refund my purchase as buyers remorse after 30 days but the day I went to send back I dropped the phone and chipped a corner. Now can't send it back because it's damaged. Fml. I anxiously await a new BB and hope the reception is better. Oh I should mention I've locked the phone to HPSA+. It causes less problems for me then LTE and better reception.
Same issue. I can hear the caller but he/she can't hear me. I really think it's not just a reception issue but also a speaker issue. My screen also popped off 2 months after use. I really wanted to like the Keyone because I've been a blackberry customer for over 10 years. But I just don't trust them anymore. They have become a joke. I contacted blackberry about these issues and they denied any speaker or reception problems. I see nothing but the Keyone being a total disaster because Blackberry is trying to hide its problems being its flagship device.
Nice vid.. any experience on key2? Are you expecting the Key3? Will there be a Priv 2? Just gave up on my Priv (lost it actually 😂) so currently have no phone and looking to buy..
Dion Martinez No problem, to get the most OST/battery life; my display is about 15% most of the time, all applications are optimized (in settings-battery), and all emails in hub don't sync every 15minutes, I changed them to every hour or never). try that and let me know.
I thought I would never look back also, then my keyone screen feel out. After using the Priv again I'm back I love with it. Yes it runs hot, yes it dies faster mainly because I game heavy on it though. To be honest I'm starting to find I prefer the screen on the Priv. Looks cleaner vs the washed out look of the keyone screen. The speaker quality is way better as well. I also like the idea of being able to slide the keyboard out only when I need it. I'm getting older and have found the larger screen is very welcomed. I do like my keyone no doubt about it. Amazing feel and nice keyboard but after I receive my replacement I'm really thinking about selling it. This is my second Priv and it cost me less then $200 bucks off amazon. 1 last thing I don't agree with the keyone having a fingerprint scanner to me "the most secure mobile" . If ever in any legal trouble you can be forced to provide your fingerprint to the government with a warrant since it biometric however cannot be forced to provide your password. Just my 2 cents.
I also love Blackberry and have been a user since 2001. Ordered the Motion from Car Phone Warehouse and i believe i was one of the first in the UK to get one. BUT........This is the first Blackberry i have ever owned that was faulty from day one, CPW and Blackberry are doing nothing about it. Two of the most important apps MS Word and Excel do not run on my device. I have reported this to Blackberry and their reply was.......That they are aware of the problem but as its only been reported on a few handsets It is not considered to be an issue. If Blackberry had said outright that there is a fault then CPW would replace the handset but as it stands now, nothing is being done. Had the Motion for 6 weeks now and its has been in its box for a month.
I don't do much gaming either, except for the occasional Yu-Gi-Oh Dual Links when I don't have my 3DS or PS Vita with me, but after starting to play Bleach Brave Souls I don't know if that would play well on the Blackberry Keyone. Is there anyone who has played the game or something similar that can say if it's just as easy to play as on another smartphone, or if its more difficult because of the keyboard?
Joshua Channell I use to have Bleach Brave Souls on my Priv and it played it well, it did get very hot tho. I imagine the 625 on the KEYone would play it better since it's a better chip. I can download it and give it a try and let you know. I don't find the keyboard an issue to play games.
My Priv's main mic kicked the bucket the other day and the only reason I grabbed the LG V20 instead of the Keyone was because of the funky aspect ratio on the Keyone. Letterboxing is just something that rubs me the wrong way. If the Priv was faster I would have simply had it repaired or even replaced it. If they were to simply upgrade the performance of the Priv I would never look back. :
Llethander Yeah I completely understand, I do wish the Priv was faster too. I never noticed the letterboxing or anything abnormal about the aspect ratio, I believe all the apps are optimized for the 3:2 aspect ratio. But the LG V20 is a good phone!

Can you get a Keyone for $200? No? Then no go for those of us on a budget. You are comparing a phone from 2015 to a new phone, obviously the Keyone is better. Duh.
The point about multitasking is very important and rarely seen in other videos, good job.
yokumato I find that feature very effective on the KEYone, keyboard is great once you get use to it. Thank you!
You just convinced me to go from my Priv to a KeyOne. Thanks
Hope you're enjoying it!!
great video! fully agree got my #KEYone last Monday and overall such a great device with that ludicrous battery life! Awesome!!
Rico4you Thank you! I don't do reviews so it was a learning experience but did all of it on the KEYone :)
Honchou Racing Inc. well fantastic job! fantastic you used the #KEYone: direction, production and star! see you in the CB forums!

Hanan Gogo Thanks for watching! (Shukran) salaam!!

I want Priv 2 !
Francis Taquin Me too! I enjoyed the Priv, if it ran like the KEYone, it would be amazing!!
No way....
Priv 2 would be nice but that’s a dream. Key3 is looking great for 2019
Sick Windows Movie Maker skills!
Wilson Sales It was actually an app called PowerDirector lol

Still priv for me is the best looking phone
awesome video!!

I've had the same problem with reception. It appears the keyone has a weak antenna or something.
Yeah_Buoy what phone service do you have

It certainly has - useless in my area
Great video man! I’ve been wanting to get back to B.B. I currently own an iphone 7 and it’s great but still lacks some things that the keyone has.
Helder Amaral I highly recommend Blackberry KEYone or even Motion over the iPhone 7 or 8
AMAZING comparison video mate! big like and subbed to ya! cheers!
Cool review! Planning to get this fone ;)
Rolee Umali Thank you! it's a must buy!!
That was really good Subscribed bro 🙌
Nice vid.. any experience on key2? Are you expecting the Key3? Will there be a Priv 2? Just gave up on my Priv (lost it actually 😂) so currently have no phone and looking to buy..
hi, can you test the camera between priv and the keyone? Thenk you...
Thanks for the vid. I'm only getting between 10-17 hours of battery life. Do you have locations services on or off?
Dion Martinez No problem, to get the most OST/battery life; my display is about 15% most of the time, all applications are optimized (in settings-battery), and all emails in hub don't sync every 15minutes, I changed them to every hour or never). try that and let me know.
Dion Martinez oh and yes location off most of the day unless I use it for Google maps

Chris Constantinou Hate to hear this!
I GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THOSE.
How is the voice call quality ? I heard that it's not good. Is it true ?
I would like to update from PRIV to KEYONE
You deserve more subscribers, other youtubers in your genre are garbage and give bias reviews
I think you just need to swipe (up) on the keyboard to choose the word prediction..rather than touching the word..just like priv..
Can anyone tell me where can I find the blackberry power bank?!!!

Where's part one?
How is snapchat and the front camera on this?
Emad Sam It's not bad, about 1.5 second behind on load time against the Pixel 2
Front camera identical to the iPhone 7+
great video, but the swoosh intro could go just takes up time and users can drop from the dead time.
i love my bbk1
pinguin110110 Glad you're enjoying like me! Thanks for watching!!
Keyone is the better
Ok
I got priv is better than my old phone keyone
Sliding difference,camera and screen size.
Great review but a little too dramatic over a phone lol
