So I have to ask since I haven't been able to find a single thing about it. Is this item battery operated? Can you plug it into a mini speaker & microphone and still get all the voices and jazz? I am only asking because I am looking into cosplay and want to walk around talking like an old wizard spewing false knowledge.
Very good video review. I would buy this but for one thing. It does not have a speaker. I want to do videos which will sometimes be outside. I need something that I can hook on my belt and have it change my voice as a camera is rolling.
@@cupidau7367 Some USB Mics have a headphones-out jack. If your USB mic has one of these, that could be used. Otherwise, no, there is not an adapter. Sorry.
Hey Matt! Awesome video! I get a crazy hissing sound when I use a 3.5mm to xlr adapter and a lav mic like you showed. Any ideas as to why this happens? It’s crazy frustrating bc the only mic that doesn’t give me some hissing feedback now is my Rode PodMic. Great to see your content since our ECAMM Live Academy last year my man! Thanks in advance for any troubleshooting tips! 🙏🙌
Hey Tom... it's good seeing you again. Sadly, 3.5mm connections are definitely a low-end connector when dealing with audio so there will always be some minor quality issues. I found that the small amount of hiss I was getting was amplified by the audio processing that the RODECasterPro has switched on by default. It tries to make quiet sounds louder to "help" you. I turned off that audio processing and it reduced the hiss from the lav mic a lot. Finally, I'll use these funny voices only for short phrases on my show. I won't linger on that too long. As such, any minor hiss that may be present will only appear in very short snippets. Good luck!
@@viplivesmatter The voice changer has an "audio out" port. That port is a 1/8 inch standard audio jack. You'll need to use that type of cable to get your funny voice on Instagram. If you can make that type of cable work with your phone (or other hardware you may be using) it will work for Instagram. Basically, you will have an external mic for you phone. If you can set that up, it will work.
Too much crap for something that sounds douchey. Plus all my phones no longer have an audio jack, all are Bluetooth. And buying a dongle is too much hassle.
All these audio mixers and voice changer hardware reviews on youtube are good reviews... But none of the reviews cover a vtubers standpoint or vtubing scenario therefore i can't come to a decision on what to buy and not buy....
Good comment… a voice changer can be used for emphasis or when the vtuber is performing a conversation and wants to make it seem like two people are talking. One person can have the funny voice. It’s an entertaining thing to view/listen to.

This goes right on my list. When you see what I do, you'll know why. It's something I've considered.
Awesome! There's no doubt about it. Voice changers have a legitimate use! They are also FUN!
Look 👀 who I found! What up Scully. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
HI MATT. COOL VIDEO :) VERY CIOOL .
Is there an update to this video with any new Hardware/software voice changers you would recommend?
You’re awesome bro thanks for the great review!!!!!

Can u help me i want to put this on my rodecaster i want to know your connections
I used an audio cable with 1/8” connection on one side and XLR on the other. That’s how I connected it to my RodeCaster Pro.
This product will connect it. (affiliate link) amzn.to/3r7BY9H
Does it work to a phone to record a video directly? I don't have a pc
Love the video brother 👍
Do you have a video how to install with my mixer?
Please send the link, thanks in advance
Too much of a headache for me. I have not tried adding different voices to my stream yet, but I am tempted to try it to see what people think.
Yeah... this is an optional tech accessory for sure.
Does anyone know of a device like this where you can change adjust pitch of voice
Great Review Video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome thanks Matt
Thank you Matt.
Hello, could I connect this to an voice amplifier?
Can I use it with my phone?

Hi Matt the Greatest! Please speak about V8 Mixer Live Sound Card!
I like your channel! Greetings from Italy! Are you on Instagram?
Could I connect it to a karaoke microphone?
If the Karaoke microphone has a 3.5mm connection (or an adapter to make it 3.5mm), yes.
Will it work with the app on a cell phone
Actually, it's no more available. Is there any other such device with voice change options like god and uncle voice?
Amazin!
Yeah... it's a cool device, for sure!
It just changes the pinch of your voice it won't make a man's voice sound like Marilyn Monroe, that's what I'm looking for.
Will it work with a voice amplifier
That's what I'm trying to figure it out with voice changers ingeneral
great !
You are so friendly and professional! Very cool! I an looking for a voice changer to use into an Instagram Live, is it possible?
It’s possible if you can take this unit’s 1/8 inch audio output and get that into your broadcast.

Fun stuff!! Lol
Does it work on Xbox
Good question. If XBOX allows audio in via 3.5nm audio jack… then yes. Otherwise, no.
Yes it works for me I can confirm.
What about a voice changer that sounds like xxxtention

Great
Levels are too hot, my guy. Hence the clipping distortion

What a waste of money. Have vocallizers with REAL FEMALE/MONSTERS/ROBOT ECT ECT VOICES AND 1/4 JACK CONNECTIONS..
$40! Except when you click the link, it’s $89. Huge jump in one year’s time-thanks inflation!
