Never heard of Ciro, Abel or Antinomie 😱 will try the ones you mentioned. I've tried Geir Ness Geir for Men, it's very good, not the kind of fragrance I gravitate to, but I like it. Interested also in Patchouli Intense. Great video! Thank you Sebastian!!!
Love love love this series! Hype and newness is great, but there are so many beautiful fragrances to be smelled and not forgotten. I’d love to see this as a regular recurrence on the channel.
Awesome video! Yes on Chevalier de la Nuit! So original, strong, beautiful and masculine! Geir Ness is also good! I had put it away for a few years and took it out to rediscover it. light and airy to me.
My forgotten fragrances are Naomi Goodsir Cuir Velours and Micallef Black Sea. I can see them, I just don't reach out to them. These are good fragrances, maybe because I live in the tropics and these perfumes are best for autumn or cold weather.
Abel was the very first fragrance house I tried when I thought I was adversely sensitive to commercial fragrances (I've since found out I'm not to all. Only some of the main high street ones). After trying their sample set Grey Labdanum was the first one I bought, gradually followed by all the others. I notice it is now discontinued (with their Red Santal) as part of their one out one in policy. Even though it was my initial favourite I began to find it a little cloying (as well as surprisingly strong and long lasting for a natural. They say they use some naturally derived Ambroxan like chemical). Some of their other fragrances like Green Cedar, Red Santal and Golden Neroli are probably a safer buy for most people but by all means give Grey Labdanum a try of you can find it. I may try it again myself soon and see if I now enjoy it again!
Except Loubirouge and One umbrella for two I haven't smelled any of the others, but if I ever get the chance I'd like to sample them. Thank you for the video!
There is a brand that never was spoken about "ROADS". It's an Irish brand that was in Selfridges at some point in London. Also Keiko Mecheri with her plum fragrance....and Fueguia from Argentina, FUGAZZI, LES EAUX PRIMORDIALES new house from Paris...
Has anyone tried Cuir Cuba intense from Patricia di Nicolai? I literally bought a 30ml of Patchouli intense and aslo New York Intense. Can not wait to wear them. Patricia really likes to make madculine aromatic fragrances
I have Geir ness about 5 years...as you said I get no Citrus & woods...its very creamy with floral touches...actually my juice mancerated its light yellow...but it's a gem 💎
One Umbrella for Two is an amazing fragrance and reminds me of blueberry muffins. Borderline gourmand but versatile. One of the few Floraiku I get great performance with. I still have to check out some of their newer offerings from the past few years though.
Thx again and again for your informative videos , I have Patchouli Intense and I truly love it, and some how I could feel the Guerlain DNA in Patricia's works, I don't know if you agree with me.
Had 10ml of sushi imperiale from the decant shop for years and finally got a full bottle a couple months ago if not for the name and hype I probably wouldn't have a bottle.
Sublime by Jean Patou ( from KSA) no one talks about it anymore but i guess its because of just how butchered its become..My dad used to work in Riyadh and when he goes home for vacation he would always have some gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous perfume💞💞Basically he introduced us to Dior Poison which back then was the dab style, Joy by Jean Patou, Pure Poison, Contradiction and other used to be gorgeous Calvin Klein perfumes and then there are some very very nostalgic uncle scent Jovan (orange box), Aramis, Emeraude- ahaha I cant forget this one where me and my cousins would make fun of how so pungent they smell and we'd play a little guessing game on whose aunts & uncles is on the living room based from the really strong scent we could smell all the way outside where we were playing~~

Floraiku has beautiful fragrances, but they are too expensive for what they are..
Yep!
Le Perla has been really popular the last year but one of their newest one, “Possibilities “ and “let the dance begin “
You are so right. We put things away and we forget them. Now to figure out what I’ve been missing.
Definitely need to check out No Sport. I like the sound of a stemmy rose. 🌹 You nailed Patchouli Intense too. Still my fav from Patricia! 💚
Agree, it’s an often misunderstood fragrance. For me it’s different and develops beautifully.

Nicolai is amazing needs more recognition
I remember the hype behind Sushi Imperiale
Me too!
I never knew there was a sister house to Tauer Perfumes, and now I know! Great video, Sebastian! ❤

Rose Flash is great. I've got a few samples of it tucked away. Thanks for reminding me about it. Today will be a Tauer day.
I loove Rose Flash! Very strong and lost lasting indeed! I do not care too much for rose frags, but I love this one!!!
Love loubirouge. But yea so expensive!

Now that it’s almost autumn, will you be doing a video on fragrances with apricot in them?

Oh yes I remember them at Barneys and hardly find them anymore. :(
Has anyone tried Cuir Cuba intense from Patricia di Nicolai?

Excellent

I never smelt “No Sport”, but it was certainly named after Winston Churchill, so as a lover of Blenhiem Bouquet, I’m curious 🧐

Sushi imperiale is underrated its smells great...by the way it is eau de parfum concentration, its in your video look at the box
PdN Patchouli Intense doesn't smell like patch at all to me, weird. I get everything else though! :)
Had 10ml of sushi imperiale from the decant shop for years and finally got a full bottle a couple months ago if not for the name and hype I probably wouldn't have a bottle.
8:36 I think La Perla fragrances are fantastic!
I love Patchouli Intense so much! So do half the people I ask but the rest say it smells like peppers for some reason 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️
I can see the pepper. Like green bell peppers right?
@@ThePerfumeGuy yes I believe so. I've heard people say it smells like bell peppers more on clothes than it does on skin
No Sport .
An underground classic .
What do you suggest that is similar to the original Tova?

Is there no one who enjoyed Halston Catalyst for men other than me?
I wanted Loubirouge, but then I found Vanilla Vibration. Smells incredibly similar at a fraction of the price.
Vanilla Vibration is really nice, but it is just a reminder of Loubirouge, definetely not a complete dupe. Loubirouge is also spicy and much deeper.
What about givenchi gentleman day we toilette 1974 version
👍
